1 D omnul împărăţeşte: popoarele tremură; El şade pe heruvimi: pămîntul se clatină.

Jehovah hath reigned, peoples tremble, The Inhabitant of the cherubs, the earth shaketh.

2 D omnul este mare în Sion, şi înalţat peste toate popoarele.

Jehovah in Zion great, And high He over all the peoples.

3 S ă laude oamenii Numele Tău cel mare şi înfricoşat, căci este sfînt!

They praise Thy name, `Great, and fearful, holy is.'

4 S ă laude oamenii tăria Împăratului, căci iubeşte dreptatea! Tu întăreşti dreptatea, Tu faci dreptate şi judecată în Iacov.

And the strength of the king Hath loved judgment, Thou -- Thou hast established uprightness; Judgment and righteousness in Jacob, Thou -- Thou hast done.

5 Î nălţaţi pe Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, şi închinaţi-vă înaintea aşternutului picioarelor Lui, căci este sfînt!

Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His footstool, holy He.

6 M oise şi Aaron, dintre preoţii Lui, şi Samuel, dintre ceice chemau Numele Lui, au chemat pe Domnul, şi El i -a ascultat.

Moses and Aaron among His priests, And Samuel among those proclaiming His name. They are calling unto Jehovah, And He doth answer them.

7 E l le -a vorbit din stîlpul de nor; ei au păzit poruncile Lui şi Legea, pe care le -a dat -o El.

In a pillar of cloud He speaketh unto them, They have kept His testimonies, And the statute He hath given to them.

8 D oamne, Dumnezeul nostru, Tu i-ai ascultat; ai fost pentru ei un Dumnezeu iertător, dar i-ai pedepsit pentru greşelile lor.

O Jehovah, our God, Thou hast afflicted them, A God forgiving Thou hast been to them, And taking vengeance on their actions.

9 Î nălţaţi pe Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, şi închinaţi-vă pe muntele Lui cel sfînt! Căci Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, este sfînt!

Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His holy hill, For holy Jehovah our God!
