2 P icioarele mi se opresc în porţile tale, Ierusalime!

Our feet have been standing in thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3 I erusalime, tu eşti zidit ca o cetate făcută dintr'o bucată!

Jerusalem -- the builded one -- as a city that is joined to itself together.

4 A colo se suie seminţiile, seminţiile Domnului, după legea lui Israel, ca să laude Numele Domnului.

For thither have tribes gone up, Tribes of Jah, companies of Israel, To give thanks to the name of Jehovah.

5 C ăci acolo sînt scaunele de domnie pentru judecată, scaunele de domnie ale casei lui David.

For there have sat thrones of judgment, Thrones of the house of David.

6 R ugaţi-vă pentru pacea Ierusalimului! Cei ce te iubesc, să se bucure de odihnă.

Ask ye the peace of Jerusalem, At rest are those loving thee.

7 P acea să fie între zidurile tale, şi liniştea în casele tale domneşti!

Peace is in thy bulwark, rest in thy high places,

8 D in pricina fraţilor şi prietenilor mei, doresc pacea în sînul tău.

For the sake of my brethren and my companions, Let me speak, I pray thee, `Peace in thee.'

9 D in pricina Casei Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru. fac urări pentru fericirea ta.

For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God, I seek good for thee!
