And Shaharaim begat in the field of Moab, after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara his wives.

9 C u nevastă-sa Hodeş a avut pe: Iobab, Ţibia, Meşa, Malcam,

And he begetteth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

10 I euţ, Şochia şi Mirma. Aceştia sînt fiii săi, capii de familie.

and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These his sons, heads of fathers.

11 C u Huşim a avut pe: Abitub şi Elpaal.

And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.

12 F iii lui Elpaal: Eber, Mişeam, şi Şemer, care a zidit Ono, Lod şi satele lui.

And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer, (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),

13 B eria şi Şema, cari erau capi de familie între locuitorii Aialonului, au pus pe fugă pe locuitorii din Gat.

and Beriah and Shema, (they the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon -- they caused to flee the inhabitants of Gath),

28 A ceştia sînt capi de familie, capi după neamurile lor. Ei locuiau la Ierusalim.

These heads of fathers, by their generations, heads; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

29 T atăl lui Gabaon locuia la Gabaon, şi numele nevestei lui era Maaca.

And in Gibeon hath the father of Gibeon dwelt, and the name of his wife Maachah;

30 A bdon era fiul său întîi născut, apoi Ţur, Chis, Baal, Nadab,

and his son, the first-born, Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

31 G hedor, Ahio, şi Zecher.

and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;

32 M iclot a născut pe Şimea. Şi ei locuiau tot la Ierusalim lîngă fraţii lor, împreună cu fraţii lor. -

and Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.

33 N er a născut pe Chis; Chis a născut pe Saul; Saul a născut pe Ionatan, pe Malchi-Şua, pe Abinadab şi pe Eşbaal.

And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.

34 F iul lui Ionatan: Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal a născut pe Mica.

And a son of Jonathan Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;

35 F iii lui Mica: Piton, Melec, Taerea şi Ahaz.

and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:

36 A haz a născut pe Iehoada; Iehoada a născut pe Alemet, Azmavet şi Zimri; Zimri a născut pe Moţa;

and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

37 M oţa a născut pe Binea. Fiul acestuia a fost Rafa; Eleasa a fost fiul acestuia; Aţel a fost fiul acestuia;

and Moza begat Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

38 A ţel a avut şase fii, ale căror nume iată-le: Azricam, Bocru, Ismael, Şearia, Obadia şi Hanan. Toţi aceştia erau fiii lui Aţel. -

And to Azel six sons, and these their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these sons of Azel.

39 F iii fratelui său Eşec: Ulam, întîiul lui născut, Ieus, al doilea, şi Elifelet, al treilea.

And sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40 F iii lui Ulam au fost oameni viteji, cari trăgeau cu arcul şi au avut mulţi fii şi nepoţi, o sută cinci zeci. Toţi aceştia sînt fiii lui Beniamin.

And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valour, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son's sons, a hundred and fifty. All these of the sons of Benjamin.
