1 H o, every thirsty one, come ye to the waters, And he who hath no money, Come ye, buy and eat, yea, come, buy Without money and without price, wine and milk.

“Todos los sedientos, vengan a las aguas; Y los que no tengan dinero, vengan, compren y coman. Vengan, compren vino y leche Sin dinero y sin costo alguno.

2 W hy do ye weigh money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which is not for satiety? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat good, And your soul doth delight itself in fatness.

¿Por qué gastan dinero en lo que no es pan, Y su salario en lo que no sacia? Escúchenme atentamente, y coman lo que es bueno, Y se deleitará su alma en la abundancia.

3 I ncline your ear, and come unto me, Hear, and your soul doth live, And I make for you a covenant age-during, The kind acts of David -- that are stedfast.

Inclinen su oído y vengan a Mí, Escuchen y vivirá su alma. Y haré con ustedes un pacto eterno, Conforme a las fieles misericordias mostradas a David.

4 L o, a witness to peoples I have given him, A leader and commander to peoples.

Lo he puesto por testigo a los pueblos, Por guía y jefe de las naciones.

5 L o, a nation thou knowest not, thou callest, And a nation who know thee not unto thee do run, For the sake of Jehovah thy God, And for the Holy One of Israel, Because He hath beautified thee.

Tú llamarás a una nación que no conocías, Y una nación que no te conocía, correrá a ti A causa del Señor tu Dios, el Santo de Israel; Porque El te ha glorificado.”

6 S eek ye Jehovah, while He is found, Call ye Him, while He is near,

Busquen al Señor mientras puede ser hallado, Llámenlo en tanto que está cerca.

7 F orsake doth the wicked his way, And the man of iniquity his thoughts, And he returneth to Jehovah, and He pitieth him, And unto our God for He multiplieth to pardon.

Abandone el impío su camino, Y el hombre malvado sus pensamientos, Y vuélvase al Señor, Que tendrá de él compasión, Al Dios nuestro, Que será amplio en perdonar.

8 F or not My thoughts your thoughts, Nor your ways My ways, -- an affirmation of Jehovah,

“Porque Mis pensamientos no son los pensamientos de ustedes, Ni sus caminos son Mis caminos,” declara el Señor.

9 F or high have the heavens been above the earth, So high have been My ways above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.

“Porque como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, Así Mis caminos son más altos que sus caminos, Y Mis pensamientos más que sus pensamientos.

10 F or, as come down doth the shower, And the snow from the heavens, And thither returneth not, But hath watered the earth, And hath caused it to yield, and to spring up, And hath given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,

Porque como descienden de los cielos la lluvia y la nieve, Y no vuelven allá sino que riegan la tierra, Haciéndola producir y germinar, Dando semilla al sembrador y pan al que come,

11 S o is My word that goeth out of My mouth, It turneth not back unto Me empty, But hath done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that which I sent it.

Así será Mi palabra que sale de Mi boca, No volverá a Mí vacía Sin haber realizado lo que deseo, Y logrado el propósito para el cual la envié.

12 F or with joy ye go forth, And with peace ye are brought in, The mountains and the hills Break forth before you singing, And all trees of the field clap the hand.

Porque con alegría saldrán, Y con paz serán conducidos. Los montes y las colinas prorrumpirán en gritos de júbilo delante de ustedes, Y todos los árboles del campo aplaudirán.

13 I nstead of the thorn come up doth fir, Instead of the brier come up doth myrtle, And it hath been to Jehovah for a name, For a sign age-during -- it is not cut off!

En lugar del espino crecerá el ciprés, Y en lugar de la ortiga crecerá el mirto. Y esto será para gloria del Señor, Para señal eterna que nunca será borrada.”
