1 I n his days hath Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon come up, and Jehoiakim is to him a servant three years; and he turneth and rebelleth against him,

En los días de Joacim subió Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, y Joacim fue su siervo por tres años; después se levantó y se rebeló contra él.

2 a nd Jehovah sendeth against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Aram, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the sons of Ammon, and He sendeth them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, that He spake by the hand of His servants the prophets;

Entonces el Señor envió contra Joacim bandas de Caldeos, bandas de Arameos, bandas de Moabitas y bandas de Amonitas. Y las envió contra Judá para destruirla, conforme a la palabra que el Señor había hablado por medio de sus siervos los profetas.

3 o nly, by the command of Jehovah it hath been against Judah to turn aside from His presence, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,

Ciertamente por mandato del Señor sucedió esto contra Judá para quitarlos de Su presencia, por los pecados de Manasés, por todo lo que había hecho.

4 a nd also the innocent blood that he hath shed, and he filleth Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah was not willing to forgive.

También por la sangre inocente que derramó, pues llenó a Jerusalén de sangre inocente, y el Señor no quiso perdonar.

5 A nd the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

Los demás hechos de Joacim y todo lo que hizo ¿no están escritos en el Libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

6 A nd Jehoiakim lieth with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son reigneth in his stead.

Durmió Joacim con sus padres; y su hijo Joaquín reinó en su lugar.

7 A nd the king of Egypt hath not added any more to go out from his own land, for the king of Babylon hath taken, from the brook of Egypt unto the river Phrat, all that had been to the king of Egypt.

El rey de Egipto no salió más de su tierra, porque el rey de Babilonia había tomado todo lo que pertenecía al rey de Egipto desde el torrente de Egipto hasta el Río Eufrates.

8 A son of eighteen years Jehoiachin in his reigning, and three months he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother Nehushta, daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem,

Joaquín tenía dieciocho años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó tres meses en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre era Nehusta, hija de Elnatán, de Jerusalén.

9 a nd he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that his fathers did.

Hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, conforme a todo lo que había hecho su padre. Primera Deportación

10 A t that time come up have servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and the city goeth into siege,

En aquel tiempo los siervos de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, subieron a Jerusalén, y la ciudad fue sitiada.

11 a nd Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon cometh against the city, and his servants are laying siege to it,

Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, llegó a la ciudad mientras sus siervos la tenían sitiada.

12 a nd Jehoiachin king of Judah goeth out unto the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his chiefs, and his eunuchs, and the king of Babylon taketh him in the eighth year of his reign,

Joaquín, rey de Judá, se rindió al rey de Babilonia, él y su madre, sus siervos, sus jefes y sus oficiales. El rey de Babilonia lo apresó en el año octavo de su reinado.

13 a nd bringeth out thence all the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the house of the king, and cutteth in pieces all the vessels of gold that Solomon king of Israel made in the temple of Jehovah, as Jehovah had spoken.

Nabucodonosor sacó de allí todos los tesoros de la casa del Señor, los tesoros de la casa del rey, y destrozó todos los utensilios de oro que Salomón, rey de Israel, había hecho en el templo del Señor, tal como el Señor había dicho.

14 A nd he hath removed all Jerusalem, and all the chiefs, and all the mighty ones of valour -- ten thousand the removal -- and every artificer and smith, none hath been left save the poor of the people of the land.

Y se llevó en cautiverio a todo Jerusalén: a todos los jefes, a todos los hombres valientes, 10, 000 cautivos, y a todos los artesanos y herreros. Nadie quedó, excepto la gente más pobre del país.

15 A nd he removeth Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the mother of the king, and the wives of the king, and his eunuchs, and the mighty ones of the land -- he hath caused a removal to go from Jerusalem to Babylon,

También se llevó a Joaquín en cautiverio a Babilonia. Asimismo se llevo en cautiverio de Jerusalén a Babilonia a la madre del rey y a las mujeres del rey, a sus oficiales y a los poderosos del país.

16 a nd all the men of valour seven thousand, and the artificers and the smiths a thousand, the whole mighty men, warriors; and the king of Babylon bringeth them in a captivity to Babylon.

Todos los hombres valientes, 7, 000 y los artesanos y herreros, 1, 000 todos fuertes y aptos para la guerra, también a éstos el rey de Babilonia llevó en cautiverio a Babilonia.

17 A nd the king of Babylon causeth Mattaniah his father's brother to reign in his stead, and turneth his name to Zedekiah.

Entonces el rey de Babilonia puso por rey en lugar de Joaquín, a su tío Matanías y cambió su nombre por el de Sedequías.

18 A son of twenty and one years Zedekiah in his reigning, and eleven years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah,

Sedequías tenía veintiún años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó once años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre era Hamutal, hija de Jeremías, de Libna.

19 a nd he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah according to all that Jehoiakim did,

Hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, conforme a todo lo que había hecho Joacim.

20 f or, by the anger of Jehovah it hath been against Jerusalem and against Judah, till he cast them out from His presence, that Zedekiah rebelleth against the king of Babylon.

Por causa de la ira del Señor sucedió esto en Jerusalén y en Judea, hasta que los echó de Su presencia. Y Sedequías se rebeló contra el rey de Babilonia.
