1 T o the Overseer, `On the Death of Labben.' -- A Psalm of David. I confess, O Jehovah, with all my heart, I recount all Thy wonders,

Daré gracias al Señor con todo mi corazón; Todas Tus maravillas contaré.

2 I rejoice and exult in Thee, I praise Thy Name, O Most High.

En Ti me alegraré y me regocijaré; Cantaré alabanzas a Tu nombre, oh Altísimo.

3 I n mine enemies turning backward, they stumble and perish from Thy face.

Cuando mis enemigos retroceden, Tropiezan y perecen delante de Ti.

4 F or Thou hast done my judgment and my right. Thou hast sat on a throne, A judge of righteousness.

Porque Tú has mantenido mi derecho y mi causa; Te sientas en el trono juzgando con justicia.

5 T hou hast rebuked nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Their name Thou hast blotted out to the age and for ever.

Has reprendido a las naciones, has destruido al impío, Has borrado su nombre para siempre.

6 O thou Enemy, Finished have been destructions for ever, As to cities thou hast plucked up, Perished hath their memorial with them.

El enemigo ha llegado a su fin en desolación eterna, Y Tú has destruido sus ciudades; Su recuerdo ha perecido con ellas.

7 A nd Jehovah to the age abideth, He is preparing for judgment His throne.

Pero el Señor permanece para siempre; Ha establecido Su trono para juicio,

8 A nd He judgeth the world in righteousness, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.

Y juzgará al mundo con justicia; Con equidad ejecutará juicio sobre los pueblos.

9 A nd Jehovah is a tower for the bruised, A tower for times of adversity.

El Señor será también baluarte para el oprimido, Baluarte en tiempos de angustia.

10 T hey trust in Thee who do know Thy name, For Thou hast not forsaken Those seeking Thee, O Jehovah.

En Ti pondrán su confianza los que conocen Tu nombre, Porque Tú, oh Señor, no abandonas a los que Te buscan.

11 S ing ye praise to Jehovah, inhabiting Zion, Declare ye among the peoples His acts,

Canten alabanzas al Señor, que mora en Sion; Proclamen entre los pueblos Sus proezas.

12 F or He who is seeking for blood Them hath remembered, He hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.

Porque el que pide cuentas de la sangre derramada, se acuerda de ellos; No olvida el clamor de los afligidos.

13 F avour me, O Jehovah, See mine affliction by those hating me, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,

Oh Señor, ten piedad de mí; Mira mi aflicción por causa de los que me aborrecen, Tú que me levantas de las puertas de la muerte;

14 S o that I recount all Thy praise, In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I rejoice on Thy salvation.

Para que yo cuente todas Tus alabanzas, Para que en las puertas de la hija de Sion Me regocije en Tu salvación.

15 S unk have nations in a pit they made, In a net that they hid hath their foot been captured.

Las naciones se han hundido en el foso que hicieron; En la red que escondieron, su propio pie quedó prendido.

16 J ehovah hath been known, Judgment He hath done, By a work of his hands Hath the wicked been snared. Meditation. Selah.

El Señor se ha dado a conocer; Ha ejecutado juicio. El impío es atrapado en la obra de sus propias manos. (Higaion, Selah)

17 T he wicked do turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God.

Los impíos volverán al Seol, O sea, todas las naciones que se olvidan de Dios.

18 F or not for ever is the needy forgotten, The hope of the humble lost to the age.

Pues el necesitado no será olvidado para siempre, Ni la esperanza de los afligidos perecerá eternamente.

19 R ise, O Jehovah, let not man be strong, Let nations be judged before Thy face.

Levántate, oh Señor; no prevalezca el hombre; Sean juzgadas las naciones delante de Ti.

20 A ppoint, O Jehovah, a director to them, Let nations know they men! Selah.

Pon temor en ellas, oh Señor; Aprendan las naciones que no son más que hombres. (Selah)
