1 T o the Overseer. -- `On a disease.' -- An instruction, by David. A fool said in his heart, `There is no God.' They have done corruptly, Yea, they have done abominable iniquity, There is none doing good.

El necio ha dicho en su corazón: “No hay Dios.” Se han corrompido, han cometido injusticias abominables; No hay quien haga el bien.

2 G od from the heavens looked on the sons of men, To see if there be an understanding one, seeking God.

Dios ha mirado desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres Para ver si hay alguien que entienda, Alguien que busque a Dios.

3 E very one went back, together they became filthy, There is none doing good -- not even one.

Todos se han desviado, a una se han corrompido; No hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.

4 H ave not workers of iniquity known, Those eating my people have eaten bread, God they have not called.

¿Acaso no tienen conocimiento los que hacen iniquidad, Que devoran a Mi pueblo como si comieran pan, Y no invocan a Dios?

5 T here they feared a fear -- there was no fear, For God hath scattered the bones of him Who is encamping against thee, Thou hast put to shame, For God hath despised them.

Donde antes no había terror, allí tiemblan de espanto, Porque Dios esparció los huesos del que acampaba contra ti; Tú los avergonzaste, porque Dios los había rechazado.

6 W ho doth give from Zion the salvation of Israel? When God turneth back a captivity of His people, Jacob doth rejoice -- Israel is glad!

¡Oh, si de Sion saliera la salvación de Israel! Cuando Dios restaure a Su pueblo cautivo, Se regocijará Jacob y se alegrará Israel.
