1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Aaron, `Thou, and thy sons, and the house of thy father with thee, do bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou, and thy sons with thee, do bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

Domnul i-a zis lui Aaron: „Tu, fiii tăi şi familia tatălui tău împreună cu tine, veţi purta responsabilitatea pentru vina legată de Lăcaş, dar numai tu şi fiii tăi veţi purta responsabilitatea pentru vina legată de preoţie.

2 a nd also thy brethren, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, and they are joined unto thee, and serve thee, even thou and thy sons with thee, before the tent of the testimony.

De asemenea, ia cu tine pe fraţii tăi din seminţia lui Levi, seminţia tatălui tău, pentru ca ei să fie împreună cu tine şi să slujească, în timp ce tu şi fiii tăi sunteţi înaintea Cortului Mărturiei.

3 ` And they have kept thy charge, and the charge of all the tent; only, unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar they do not come near, and they die not, either they or you;

Să fie responsabili cu lucrurile de care tu ai nevoie şi să aibă în grijă tot Cortul. Să nu se apropie nici de uneltele Lăcaşului, nici de altar, pentru că altfel şi ei şi tu veţi muri.

4 a nd they have been joined unto thee, and have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and a stranger doth not come near unto you;

Ei să fie alături de tine şi să supravegheze tot ce se face la Cortul Întâlnirii, toată slujirea de la Cort; nici un străin să nu se apropie de voi.

5 a nd ye have kept the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar, and there is no more wrath against the sons of Israel.

Voi înşivă să împliniţi cele privitoare la slujirea de la Lăcaş şi de la altar pentru ca mânia Mea să nu mai vină niciodată peste israeliţi.

6 ` And I, lo, I have taken your brethren the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel; to you a gift they are given by Jehovah, to do the service of the tent of meeting;

Iată că i-am luat pe leviţi, fraţii voştri, dintre israeliţi; ei sunt ai voştri ca un dar oferit Domnului şi ei vor împlini slujirea de la Cortul Întâlnirii.

7 a nd thou, and thy sons with thee, do keep your priesthood, for everything of the altar, and within the vail, and ye have served; a service of gift I make your priesthood; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.'

Dar tu şi fiii tăi împreună cu tine să vă împliniţi datoriile preoţeşti, având grijă de tot ce ţine de altar şi de tot ce este dincolo de draperie. Vă dau preoţia ca un dar; străinul care se va apropia să fie omorât.“ Partea ce le revine preoţilor

8 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Aaron: `And I, lo, I have given to thee the charge of My heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the sons of Israel -- to thee I have given them for the anointing, and to thy sons, by a statute age-during.

Domnul i-a zis lui Aaron: „Iată, Eu Însumi ţi-am dat responsabilitatea pentru jertfele care-Mi sunt aduse, toate lucrurile sfinte ale israeliţilor; ţi le-am dat ţie şi fiilor tăi, ca parte a voastră, printr-o poruncă veşnică.

9 T his is thine of the most holy things, from the fire: all their offering, to all their present, and to all their sin-offering, and to all their guilt-offering, which they give back to Me, is most holy to thee, and to thy sons;

Iată ce va fi al tău din lucrurile preasfinte, care nu sunt mistuite de foc: orice jertfă pe care ei Mi-o aduc ca dar de mâncare, ca jertfă pentru păcat sau ca jertfă pentru vină, lucrurile acestea preasfinte să fie ale tale şi ale fiilor tăi.

10 i n the holy of holies thou dost eat it; every male doth eat it; holy it is to thee.

Să le mâncaţi într-un loc preasfânt; fiecare bărbat să le mănânce. Să fie sfinte pentru voi.

11 ` And this thine: the heave-offering of their gift, to all the wave-offerings of the sons of Israel, to thee I have given them, and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute age-during; every clean one in thy house doth eat it;

De asemenea, ţi-am mai dat fiecare jertfă adusă ca dar din toate jertfele legănate ale israeliţilor; ţi le-am dat ţie, fiilor tăi şi fiicelor tale printr-o poruncă veşnică. Toţi aceia din familia ta care sunt curaţi le vor putea mânca.

12 a ll the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and wheat -- their first- which they give to Jehovah -- to thee I have given them.

Tot ce este mai bun din ulei, din vin şi din grâne, rodul ales pe care ei îl dau Domnului, ţi l-am dat ţie.

13 ` The first-fruits of all that in their land, which they bring in to Jehovah, are thine; every clean one in thy house doth eat it;

Primele roade din tot ce este în ţara lor, pe care le aduc Domnului, să fie ale tale. Cel curat din familia ta va putea să mănânce.

14 e very devoted thing in Israel is thine,

Tot ce este pus deoparte în Israel să fie al tău.

15 e very one opening a womb of all flesh which they bring near to Jehovah, among man and among beast, is thine; only, thou dost certainly ransom the first-born of man, and the firstling of the unclean beast thou dost ransom.

Întâiul născut al oricărei făpturi pe care ei îl aduc Domnului, fie om sau animal, să fie al tău. Totuşi, atât pe întâiul născut al omului, cât şi pe întâiul născut al animalelor necurate va trebui să-l răscumperi.

16 ` And their ransomed ones from a son of a month, thou dost ransom with thy valuation, of silver, five shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary, twenty gerahs it.

Preţul lor de răscumpărare, pus celor de la o lună în sus, să fie de cinci şecheli de argint după şechelul Lăcaşului (adică douăzeci de ghere).

17 ` Only, the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou dost not ransom, holy they: their blood thou dost sprinkle on the altar, and of their fat thou makest perfume, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah,

Dar pe întâiul născut al vacii, al oii sau al caprei să nu-l răscumperi; ei sunt sfinţi. Să le stropeşti sângele pe altar şi să le arzi grăsimea ca o jertfă mistuită de foc de o aromă plăcută Domnului.

18 a nd their flesh is thine, as the breast of the wave-offering, and as the right leg, it is thine;

Carnea lor să fie a ta aşa cum este al tău pieptul jertfei legănate şi spata dreaptă.

19 a ll the heave-offerings of the holy things which the sons of Israel lift up to Jehovah I have given to thee and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute age-during, a covenant of salt, age-during it before Jehovah, to thee and to thy seed with thee.'

Toate jertfele sfinte, pe care israeliţii le aduc Domnului, ţi le-am dat ţie, fiilor tăi şi fiicelor tale printr-o poruncă veşnică; este un legământ al sării, un legământ veşnic înaintea Domnului pentru tine şi urmaşii tăi.“

20 A nd Jehovah saith unto Aaron, `In their land thou dost not inherit, and a portion thou hast not in their midst: I thy portion, and thine inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel;

Apoi Domnul i-a zis lui Aaron: „Să nu ai nici o moştenire în ţara lor, să nu ai nici o parte între ei; Eu sunt partea ta şi moştenirea ta între israeliţi.

21 a nd to the sons of Levi, lo, I have given all the tenth in Israel for inheritance in exchange for their service which they are serving -- the service of the tent of meeting.

Leviţilor le-am dat fiecare zeciuială din Israel ca o moştenire pentru slujirea pe care o fac, slujirea de la Cortul Întâlnirii.

22 ` And the sons of Israel come no more near unto the tent of meeting, to bear sin, to die,

De acum înainte israeliţii să nu se mai apropie de Cortul Întâlnirii ca să nu se facă vinovaţi şi să moară.

23 a nd the Levites have done the service of the tent of meeting, and they -- they bear their iniquity; a statute age-during to your generations, that in the midst of the sons of Israel they have no inheritance;

Doar leviţii să împlinească slujirea de la Cortul Întâlnirii şi să fie responsabili pentru vina lor. Ei să nu aibă nici o moştenire între israeliţi; aceasta să fie o poruncă veşnică pentru toate generaţiile.

24 b ut the tithe of the sons of Israel which they lift up to Jehovah, a heave-offering, I have given to the Levites for inheritance; therefore I have said of them, In the midst of the sons of Israel they have no inheritance.'

Căci zeciuielile israeliţilor, pe care ei le aduc ca jertfă prin ridicare Domnului, le-am dat leviţilor. De aceea am spus despre ei că nu vor avea nici o moştenire între israeliţi.“

25 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

După aceea, Domnul i-a vorbit lui Moise:

26 ` And unto the Levites thou dost speak; and thou hast said unto them, When ye take from the sons of Israel the tithe which I have given to you from them, for your inheritance, then ye have lifted up from it the heave-offering of Jehovah, a tithe of the tithe;

„Să le spui leviţilor: «Când primiţi zeciuiala de la israeliţi, pe care v-am dat-o de la ei ca parte a voastră, să aduceţi din ea o jertfă prin ridicare pentru Domnul, o zeciuială din zeciuială.

27 a nd your heave-offering hath been reckoned to you as corn from the threshing-floor, and as fulness from the wine-vat;

Ea să fie considerată un dar din partea voastră, la fel ca şi grânele din aria de treierat şi ca abundenţa ce curge din teasc.

28 s o ye do lift up -- ye also -- the heave-offering of Jehovah from all your tithes which ye receive from the sons of Israel; and ye have given from it the heave-offering of Jehovah to Aaron the priest;

Aşadar, să aduceţi Domnului o jertfă prin ridicare din toate zeciuielile pe care le primiţi de la israeliţi; să daţi din ele o jertfă Domnului şi să o lăsaţi preotului Aaron.

29 o ut of all your gifts ye do lift up the whole heave-offering of Jehovah; out of all its fat, -- its hallowed part -- out of it.

Din toate darurile voastre, pe care le aduceţi Domnului din jertfele prin ridicare, cea mai bună parte din ele este partea ce trebuie pusă deoparte.»

30 ` And thou hast said unto them, In your lifting up its fat out of it, then it hath been reckoned to the Levites, as increase of a threshing-floor, and as increase of a wine-vat;

Să le mai spui: «După ce veţi aduce ca jertfă prin ridicare cea mai bună parte din ea, partea care a rămas să le fie considerată leviţilor ca venitul de la aria de treierat şi ca venitul de la teasc.

31 a nd ye have eaten it in every place, ye and your households, for it your hire in exchange for your service in the tent of meeting;

O puteţi mânca în orice loc, voi şi familiile voastre, pentru că este plata voastră pentru slujirea în Cortul Întâlnirii.

32 a nd ye bear no sin for it, in your lifting up its fat out of it, and the holy things of the sons of Israel ye do not pollute, and ye die not.'

Nu vă veţi face vinovaţi de nici un păcat din cauza ei atunci când veţi aduce prin ridicare cea mai bună parte din ea. Dar aveţi grijă să nu profanaţi darurile sfinte ale israeliţilor pentru că altfel veţi muri.»“
