1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Domnul i-a zis lui Moise:

2 ` This is a law of the leper, in the day of his cleansing, that he hath been brought in unto the priest,

„Iată care este legea cu privire la cel lepros în ziua curăţirii lui: să fie adus înaintea preotului;

3 a nd the priest hath gone out unto the outside of the camp, and the priest hath seen, and lo, the plague of leprosy hath ceased from the leper,

preotul să iasă afară din tabără şi să-l cerceteze; dacă omul a fost vindecat de lepră,

4 a nd the priest hath commanded, and he hath taken for him who is to be cleansed, two clean living birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

preotul să poruncească să se ia pentru cel ce trebuie curăţit două păsări vii şi curate, lemn de cedru, fir de culoare cărămizie şi isop.

5 ` And the priest hath commanded, and he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;

Preotul să poruncească ca una dintre păsări să fie înjunghiată într-un vas de pământ, deasupra unei ape curgătoare.

6 t he living bird, he taketh it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and hath dipped them and the living bird in the blood of the slaughtered bird, over the running water,

Să ia pasărea vie şi s-o înmoaie împreună cu lemnul de cedru, firul cărămiziu şi isopul în sângele păsării care a fost înjunghiată deasupra apei curgătoare.

7 a nd he hath sprinkled on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and hath pronounced him clean, and hath sent out the living bird on the face of the field.

Să-l stropească de şapte ori pe cel ce trebuie curăţit de lepră, după care să-l declare curat şi să dea drumul păsării vii pe câmp.

8 ` And he who is to be cleansed hath washed his garments, and hath shaved all his hair, and hath bathed with water, and hath been clean, and afterwards he doth come in unto the camp, and hath dwelt at the outside of his tent seven days.

Cel ce trebuie curăţit va trebui să-şi spele hainele, să-şi radă tot părul şi să se scalde în apă; apoi va fi curat. După aceea va putea să vină în tabără, dar va trebui să stea şapte zile în afara cortului său.

9 ` And it hath been, on the seventh day -- he shaveth all his hair, his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows, even all his hair he doth shave, and he hath washed his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and hath been clean.

În ziua a şaptea să-şi radă tot părul: părul de pe cap, barba şi sprâncenele; să-şi radă tot părul. Apoi să-şi spele hainele, să-şi scalde trupul în apă şi va fi curat.

10 ` And on the eighth day he taketh two lambs, perfect ones, and one ewe-lamb, daughter of a year, a perfect one, and three tenth deals of flour a present, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.

În ziua a opta să ia doi miei şi o mieluşea de un an, fiecare fără meteahnă, trei zecimi dintr-o efă de făină aleasă, amestecată cu ulei ca dar de mâncare şi un log de ulei.

11 ` And the priest who is cleansing hath caused the man who is to be cleansed to stand with them before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting,

Preotul care face curăţirea să-l aducă pe omul care trebuie curăţit înaintea Domnului, la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii.

12 a nd the priest hath taken the one he-lamb, and hath brought it near for a guilt-offering, also the log of oil, and hath waved them -- a wave offering before Jehovah.

Preotul să ia unul din miei, să-l aducă ca jertfă pentru vină împreună cu logul de ulei şi să le legene ca jertfă legănată înaintea Domnului.

13 ` And he hath slaughtered the lamb in the place where he slaughtereth the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the holy place; for like the sin-offering the guilt-offering is to the priest; it most holy.

Să înjunghie mielul în locul în care sunt înjunghiate jertfele pentru păcat şi arderile de tot, adică într-un loc sfânt. La fel ca jertfa pentru vină, şi jertfa pentru păcat va fi a preotului, căci acestea sunt preasfinte.

14 ` And the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;

Preotul să ia din sângele jertfei pentru vină şi să-l pună pe lobul urechii celui ce trebuie curăţit, pe degetul mare al mâinii lui drepte şi pe degetul mare al piciorului lui drept.

15 a nd the priest hath taken of the log of oil, and hath poured on the left palm of the priest,

Preotul să ia din logul de ulei, să-şi toarne în palma stângă,

16 a nd the priest hath dipped his right finger in the oil which on his left palm, and hath sprinkled of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah.

să-şi pună degetul mâinii drepte în uleiul din palma mâinii stângi şi, cu degetul, să stropească din ulei de şapte ori înaintea Domnului.

17 ` And of the residue of the oil which on his palm, the priest putteth on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt-offering;

Din uleiul care-i mai rămâne în palmă, preotul să ungă lobul urechii drepte a celui ce trebuie curăţit, degetul mare al mâinii lui drepte, degetul mare al piciorului lui drept şi, de asemenea, să arunce cu ulei peste sângele jertfei pentru vină.

18 a nd the remnant of the oil which on the palm of the priest, he putteth on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest hath made atonement for him before Jehovah.

Restul uleiului din palma preotului să fie pus pe capul celui ce trebuie curăţit. Apoi preotul să facă ispăşire în locul acelui om înaintea Domnului.

19 ` And the priest hath made the sin-offering, and hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness, and afterwards he doth slaughter the burnt-offering;

Preotul să aducă jertfa pentru păcat ca să facă ispăşire pentru cel ce trebuie curăţit de necurăţia sa. La urmă, va trebui să înjunghie arderea de tot.

20 a nd the priest hath caused the burnt-offering to ascend, also the present, on the altar, and the priest hath made atonement for him, and he hath been clean.

Preotul va aduce arderea de tot şi darul de mâncare pe altar. Aşa va face preotul ispăşire pentru acel om şi acesta din urmă va fi curat.

21 ` And if he poor, and his hand is not reaching, then he hath taken one lamb -- a guilt-offering, for a wave-offering, to make atonement for him, and one-tenth deal of flour mixed with oil for a present, and a log of oil,

Dacă este sărac şi nu poate aduce toate aceste lucruri, atunci să ia un singur miel ca jertfă pentru vină ce trebuie legănată, ca să se facă ispăşire pentru el; de asemenea, să mai ia a zecea parte dintr-o efă de făină aleasă, amestecată cu ulei pentru darul de mâncare şi un log de ulei.

22 a nd two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, which his hand reacheth to, and one hath been a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering;

Să ia şi două turturele sau doi pui de porumbei, după cât poate, unul ca jertfă pentru păcat şi celălalt ca ardere de tot.

23 a nd he hath brought them in on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah.

În cea de-a opta zi să le aducă la preot pentru curăţirea lui, la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii, înaintea Domnului;

24 ` And the priest hath taken the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest hath waved them -- a wave-offering before Jehovah;

preotul să ia mielul jertfei pentru vină şi logul de ulei şi să le legene ca jertfă legănată înaintea Domnului.

25 a nd he hath slaughtered the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;

Apoi să înjunghie mielul jertfei pentru vină şi să ia din sângele acestuia ca să ungă lobul urechii drepte a celui ce trebuie curăţit, degetul mare al mâinii lui drepte şi degetul mare al piciorului lui drept.

26 a nd the priest doth pour of the oil on the left palm of the priest;

După aceea va trebui ca preotul să-şi toarne nişte ulei în palma mâinii stângi

27 a nd the priest hath sprinkled with his right finger of the oil which on his left palm, seven times before Jehovah.

şi, cu degetul de la mâna dreaptă, să stropească cu uleiul care este în palma sa stângă, de şapte ori înaintea Domnului.

28 ` And the priest hath put of the oil which on his palm, on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt-offering;

Preotul să ungă cu uleiul din palma sa lobul urechii drepte a celui ce trebuie curăţit, degetul mare al mâinii lui drepte, degetul mare al piciorului lui drept şi locul unde a fost pus sângele jertfei pentru vină.

29 a nd the remnant of the oil which on the palm of the priest he doth put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him, before Jehovah.

Restul uleiului din palmă să-l pună pe capul celui care trebuie curăţit şi să facă astfel ispăşire în locul lui înaintea Domnului.

30 ` And he hath made the one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons (from that which his hand reacheth to,

Apoi să aducă una dintre turturele sau unul dintre puii de porumbei, după cum poate,

31 t hat which his hand reacheth to), the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt offering, besides the present, and the priest hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Jehovah.

unul ca jertfă pentru păcat şi altul ca ardere de tot, împreună cu darul de mâncare, iar preotul să facă ispăşire înaintea Domnului în locul celui ce trebuie curăţit.

32 T his a law of him in whom a plague of leprosy, whose hand reacheth not to his cleansing.'

Aceasta este legea pentru leprosul care nu poate aduce jertfele obişnuite pentru curăţirea lui.“ Curăţirea mucegaiului de pe case şi haine

33 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

Domnul le-a zis lui Moise şi lui Aaron:

34 ` When ye come in unto the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I have put a plague of leprosy in a house the land of your possession;

„Când veţi intra în ţara Canaan, pe care v-o voi da în stăpânire, dacă voi trimite o rană de lepră în vreo casă din ţara pe care o veţi stăpâni,

35 t hen hath he whose the house come in and declared to the priest, saying, As a plague hath appeared to me in the house;

atunci stăpânul casei să anunţe preotul că a văzut ceva ca o pată în casa lui.

36 a nd the priest hath commanded, and they have prepared the house before the priest cometh in to see the plague (that all which in the house be not unclean), and afterwards doth the priest come in to see the house;

Înainte de a merge să cerceteze pata, preotul să poruncească să se scoată totul din casă, ca nu cumva tot ce se află în casă să devină necurat; după aceea preotul va putea să intre ca să cerceteze casa.

37 a nd he hath seen the plague, and lo, the plague in the walls of the house, hollow strakes, very green or very red, and their appearance lower than the wall,

Să se uite la pată; dacă pata de pe zidurile casei are nişte gropiţe verzui sau roşiatice şi dacă este mai adâncă decât suprafaţa peretelui,

38 a nd the priest hath gone out of the house unto the opening of the house, and hath shut up the house seven days.

preotul să iasă din casă şi să o închidă pentru şapte zile.

39 ` And the priest hath turned back on the seventh day, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the walls of the house,

În a şaptea zi preotul să vină din nou să o cerceteze. Dacă pata s-a împrăştiat pe zidurile casei,

40 a nd the priest hath commanded, and they have drawn out the stones in which the plague, and have cast them unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place;

preotul să poruncească să se scoată pietrele atinse de pată şi să fie aruncate într-un loc necurat în afara cetăţii.

41 a nd the house he doth cause to be scraped within round about, and they have poured out the clay which they have scraped off, at the outside of the city, at an unclean place;

Apoi să pună să se răzuiască tot interiorul casei şi tot ce s-a răzuit să se arunce într-un loc necurat, în afara cetăţii.

42 a nd they have taken other stones, and brought in unto the place of the stones, and other clay he taketh and hath daubed the house.

După aceea, să se ia alte pietre, să se pună în locul celor scoase şi să se tencuiască din nou casa.

43 ` And if the plague return, and hath broken out in the house, after he hath drawn out the stones, and after the scraping of the house, and after the daubing;

Dacă pata apare din nou în casă, după ce au fost scoase pietrele şi după ce casa a fost răzuită şi tencuită,

44 t hen hath the priest come in and seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the house; it a fretting leprosy in the house; it unclean.

preotul să meargă încă o dată şi să o cerceteze. Dacă pata s-a răspândit pe casă, atunci este o rană de lepră care se întinde; casa este deci necurată.

45 ` And he hath broken down the house, its stones, and its wood, and all the clay of the house, and he hath brought forth unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place.

Stăpânul să-şi dărâme casa – pietrele, lemnul şi toată tencuiala – şi să le ducă într-un loc necurat în afara cetăţii.

46 ` And he who is going in unto the house all the days he hath shut it up, is unclean till the evening;

Toţi aceia care au intrat în casă în timp ce era închisă, să fie necuraţi până seara

47 a nd he who is lying in the house doth wash his garments; and he who is eating in the house doth wash his garments.

şi toţi aceia care au dormit sau au mâncat în casă, să-şi spele hainele.

48 ` And if the priest certainly come in, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath not spread in the house after the daubing of the house, then hath the priest pronounced the house clean, for the plague hath been healed.

Dar dacă preotul a venit, a cercetat, iar pata nu s-a răspândit pe casă după ce aceasta a fost tencuită, atunci el să o declare curată, căci pata s-a dus.

49 ` And he hath taken for the cleansing of the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop;

Pentru curăţirea casei va trebui să ia două păsări, lemn de cedru, fir de culoare cărămizie, isop

50 a nd he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;

şi să înjunghie una din păsări într-un vas de pământ, deasupra unei ape curgătoare.

51 a nd he hath taken the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and hath dipped them in the blood of the slaughtered bird, and in the running water, and hath sprinkled upon the house seven times.

Să ia lemnul de cedru, isopul, firul cărămiziu şi pasărea vie, să le înmoaie în sângele păsării înjunghiate, apoi în apa curgătoare şi să stropească casa de şapte ori.

52 ` And he hath cleansed the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;

Să cureţe astfel casa cu sângele păsării, cu apă proaspătă, cu pasărea vie, cu lemnul de cedru, cu isopul şi cu firul cărămiziu.

53 a nd he hath sent away the living bird unto the outside of the city unto the face of the field, and hath made atonement for the house, and it hath been clean.

După aceea să-i dea drumul pe câmp păsării celei vii, care se află în cetate. Astfel va face ispăşire pentru casă şi ea va fi curată.

54 ` This the law for every plague of the leprosy and for scall,

Aceasta este legea pentru orice fel de rană de lepră, pentru râie,

55 a nd for leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

pentru lepra de pe haine şi de pe case,

56 a nd for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot, --

pentru umflături, erupţii şi pete;

57 t o direct in the day of being unclean, and in the day of being clean; this the law of the leprosy.'

ea arată când anume un lucru este considerat necurat sau curat. Aceasta este legea pentru lepră.“
