These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron. The first-born was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Daniel, the son of Abigail of Carmel.

2 O terceiro Absalão, filho de Maacá, filha de Talmai, rei de Gesur; o quarto Adonias, filho de Hagite;

The third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of King Talmai of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith.

3 O quinto Sefatias, de Abital; o sexto Itreão, de Eglá, sua mulher.

The fifth was Shephatiah the son of Abital. And the sixth was Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah.

4 S eis lhe nasceram em Hebrom, onde reinou sete anos e seis meses; e reinou trinta e três anos em Jerusalém.

Six sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven years and six months. And he ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

5 E stes lhe nasceram em Jerusalém: Siméia, Sobabe, Natã e Salomão; estes quatro lhe nasceram de Bate-Sua, filha de Amiel.

These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel gave birth to David’s four sons, Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon.

6 N asceram-lhe mais: Ibar, Elisama, Elifelete,

And there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7 N ogá, Nefegue, Jafia,

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8 E lisama, Eliadá e Elifelete, nove.

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine sons.

9 T odos estes foram filhos de Davi, afora os filhos das concubinas; e Tamar foi irmã deles.

All these were the sons of David, added to the sons of the women who acted as David’s wives. Tamar was their sister. The Family of Solomon

10 F ilho de Salomão foi Roboão, de quem foi filho Abias, de quem foi filho Asa, de quem foi filho Jeosafá,

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam. Abijah was his son. Asa was his son. Jehoshaphat was his son.

11 d e quem foi filho Jorão, de quem foi filho Acazias, de quem foi filho Joás,

Joram was his son. Ahaziah was his son. Joash was his son.

12 d e quem foi filho Amazias, de quem foi filho Jotão,

Amaziah was his son. Azariah was his son. Jotham was his son.

13 d e quem foi filho Acaz, de quem foi filho Ezequias, de quem foi filho Manassés,

Ahaz was his son. Hezekiah was his son. Manasseh was his son.

14 d e quem foi filho Amom, e de quem foi filho Josias.

Amon was his son. And Josiah was his son.

15 O s filhos de Josias: o primogênito Joanã, o segundo Jeoiaquim, o terceiro Zedequias, o quarto Salum.

The sons of Josiah were Johanan the first-born, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.

16 O s filhos de Jeoiaquim: Jeconias, seu filho, e Zedequias, seu filho.

The sons of Jehoiakim were Jeconiah and Zedekiah. The Family of Jeconiah

17 O s filhos de Jeconias, o deportado: Sealtiel, seu filho,

Jeconiah was taken away to prison by the Babylonians. His sons were Shealtiel,

18 M alquirão, Pedaías, Senazar, Jecamias, Hosama e Nedabias.

Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 O s filhos de Pedaías: Zorobabel e Simei; e os filhos de Zorobabel: Mesulão e Hananias, e Selomite, irmã destes;

Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister.

20 e Hasubá, Oel, Berequias, Hasadias e Jusabe-Hesede, cinco.

Five other sons of Zerubbabel were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

21 H ananias foi pai de Pelatias; Pelatias de Jesaías; Jesaías de Refaías; Refaías de Arnã; Arnã de Obadias; e Obadias de Secanias.

The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. His son was Arnan. His son was Obadiah. And his son was Shecaniah.

22 O s filhos de Secanias: Semaías e os filhos deste: Hatus, Igal, Bariá, Nearias e Safate, seis.

Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah, whose sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six sons.

23 O s filhos de Nearias: Elioenai, Ezequias e Azricão, três.

The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam.

24 E os filhos de Elioenai: Hodavias, Eliasibe, Pelaías, Acube, Joanã, Delaías e Anani, sete.

And the seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
