These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron. The first-born was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Daniel, the son of Abigail of Carmel.

The third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of King Talmai of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith.

3 S efatías, el quinto, hijo de Abital; Itreán, el sexto, hijo de su mujer Egla.

The fifth was Shephatiah the son of Abital. And the sixth was Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah.

4 E stos seis le nacieron en Hebrón, donde reinó siete años y seis meses. En Jerusalén reinó treinta y tres años,

Six sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven years and six months. And he ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

5 y allí le nacieron estos cuatro: Simea, Sobab, Natán y Salomón, que fue el hijo de Bet Súa, la hija de Amiel.

These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel gave birth to David’s four sons, Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon.

6 D avid tuvo otros nueve hijos, que fueron Ibejar, Elisama, Elifelet,

And there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7 N oga, Nefeg, Jafía,

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8 E lisama, Eliada y Elifelet.

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine sons.

9 T odos estos fueron hijos de David, sin contar los hijos que tuvo con sus concubinas. La hermana de ellos fue Tamar. Descendientes de Salomón

All these were the sons of David, added to the sons of the women who acted as David’s wives. Tamar was their sister. The Family of Solomon

10 D e Salomón descendieron, en línea directa, Roboán, Abías, Asa, Josafat,

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam. Abijah was his son. Asa was his son. Jehoshaphat was his son.

11 J orán, Ocozías, Joás,

Joram was his son. Ahaziah was his son. Joash was his son.

12 A masías, Azarías, Yotán,

Amaziah was his son. Azariah was his son. Jotham was his son.

13 A jaz, Ezequías, Manasés,

Ahaz was his son. Hezekiah was his son. Manasseh was his son.

Amon was his son. And Josiah was his son.

15 L os hijos de Josías fueron Johanán, su primogénito; Joacín, el segundo; Sedequías, el tercero; y Salún, el cuarto.

The sons of Josiah were Johanan the first-born, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.

16 L os hijos de Joacín fueron Jeconías y Sedequías.

The sons of Jehoiakim were Jeconiah and Zedekiah. The Family of Jeconiah

17 L os hijos de Jeconías fueron Asir, Salatiel,

Jeconiah was taken away to prison by the Babylonians. His sons were Shealtiel,

18 M alquirán, Pedaías, Senazar, Jecamías, Hosama y Nedabías.

Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 L os hijos de Pedaías fueron Zorobabel y Simey. Los hijos de Zorobabel fueron Mesulán y Jananías (la hermana de éstos fue Selomit),

Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister.

20 y estos cinco: Jasubá, Ohel, Berequías, Jasadías y Yusab Jésed.

Five other sons of Zerubbabel were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

21 L os hijos de Jananías fueron Pelatías y Jesaías, y sus descendientes en línea directa fueron Refaías, Arnán, Abdías y Secanías.

The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. His son was Arnan. His son was Obadiah. And his son was Shecaniah.

22 L os descendientes de Secanías fueron estos seis: Semaías, Jatús, Igal, Barías, Nearías y Safat.

Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah, whose sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six sons.

23 L os hijos de Nearías fueron estos tres: Elioguenay, Ezequías y Azricán.

The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam.

24 L os hijos de Elioguenay fueron estos siete: Hodavías, Eliasib, Pelaías, Acub, Johanán, Dalaías y Anani.

And the seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
