1 E l Señor se estableció en el monte santo.

The city God built stands on the holy mountains.

2 E l amor del Señor por las puertas de Sión es mayor que su amor por todas las ciudades de Jacob.

The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other places of Jacob.

3 D e ti, ciudad de Dios, se dicen cosas gloriosas.

Great things are said about you, O city of God.

4 E ntre los que me conocen, tengo presentes a Rajab y a Babilonia. Aquí están Filistea y Tiro, con Etiopía. Éste nació allí.

I will say that Rahab and Babylon are among those who know Me. Look, Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia say, “This one was born there.”

5 D e Sión se dirá: «Éste y aquél nacieron en ella.» El Altísimo mismo la establecerá.

But it will be said of Zion, “This one and that one were born in her.” And the Most High Himself will make her strong.

6 A l inscribir a los pueblos, el Señor anotará: «Éste nació allá.»

The Lord will write in the book of the people, “This one was born there.”

7 L os que cantan y danzan en ella, dirán: «Todas mis fuentes están en ti.»

Then those who sing and those who play music will say, “All my wells of joy are in you.”
