1 D ios mío, ten misericordia de mí, porque hay gente capaz de devorarme. Todo el tiempo me oprimen y me combaten;

Show me Your loving-kindness, O God, for man has walked on me. All day long the one who tries to keep me down fights with me.

2 t odo el tiempo mis enemigos me pisotean; ¡son muchos los soberbios que me atacan!

All day long those who hate me have walked on me. For there are many who fight against me with pride.

3 P ero yo, cuando tengo miedo, confío en ti.

When I am afraid, I will trust in You.

4 C onfío en ti, mi Dios, y alabo tu palabra; confío en ti, mi Dios, y no tengo miedo; ¿Qué puede hacerme un simple mortal?

I praise the Word of God. I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can only a man do to me?

5 T odo el tiempo, ellos tuercen mis palabras; sólo piensan en perjudicarme.

All day long they change my words to say what I did not say. They are always thinking of ways to hurt me.

6 S e juntan para acecharme, y vigilan cada uno de mis pasos con la intención de quitarme la vida.

They go after me as in a fight. They hide themselves. They watch my steps, as they have waited to take my life.

7 ¡ Dios mío, toma en cuenta su iniquidad y en tu furor humilla a esa gente!

Because they are bad, do not let them get away. Bring down the people in Your anger, O God.

8 T ú llevas la cuenta de mis huidas; tú has puesto mis lágrimas en tu redoma; más bien, las has anotado en tu libro.

You have seen how many places I have gone. Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?

9 E l día que yo te pida ayuda mis enemigos serán puestos en fuga, pues yo sé que tú, mi Dios, estás de mi parte.

Then those who hate me will turn back when I call. I know that God is for me.

10 D ios mío, en ti confío y alabo tu palabra; Señor, en ti confío y alabo tu palabra.

I praise the Word of God. I praise the Word of the Lord.

11 C onfío en ti, mi Dios, y no tengo miedo; ¿qué me puede hacer un simple mortal?

In God I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

12 D ios mío, yo tengo presentes mis votos, y habré de tributarte alabanzas,

I am under an agreement with You, O God. I will give You gifts of thanks.

13 p orque me libraste de la muerte y evitaste que mis pies tropezaran para que ante ti camine en la luz de la vida.

For You have set my soul free from death. You have kept my feet from falling, so I may walk with God in the light of life.
