2 « Diles a los hijos de Israel que tomen una ofrenda para mí. La tomarán de todo aquel que de voluntad y de corazón quiera darla.

“Tell the people of Israel to take a gift for Me. Receive the gift for Me from every person whose heart makes him willing.

3 L a ofrenda que recibirán de ellos es la siguiente: oro, plata, cobre,

This is the gift you are to receive from them: Gold, silver and brass,

4 a zul, púrpura, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra,

blue, purple and red cloth, fine linen, goat hair,

5 p iel de carnero teñida de rojo, piel de delfín, madera de acacia,

rams’ skins made red, badgers’ skins, acacia wood,

6 a ceite para las lámparas, especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático,

lamp oil, spices for the oil used in worship and for perfumes,

7 p iedras de ónice, y piedras de engaste para el efod y para el pectoral.

onyx stones, and stones to be set in the clothing of the religious leaders.

8 Y harán un santuario en mi honor, y yo habitaré en medio de ellos.

Let them make a holy place for Me, so I may live among them.

9 E l diseño del tabernáculo y de todos sus utensilios lo harán todo en conformidad con todo lo que yo te muestre. El arca del testimonio

10 » Harán también un arca de madera de acacia, de un metro y diez centímetros de largo, sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho, y sesenta y cinco centímetros de alto.

“They will make a special box of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits tall.

11 L a recubrirás de oro puro por dentro y por fuera, y alrededor de ella le harás una cornisa de oro.

Cover it inside and out with pure gold. And make a piece of gold to put on it all around.

12 L e fundirás cuatro anillos de oro, y se los pondrás en sus cuatro esquinas; dos anillos en un costado y dos anillos en el otro.

Make four gold rings for it and put them on its four feet. Put two rings on one side of it and two rings on the other side.

13 H arás unas varas de madera de acacia, y las recubrirás de oro.

Cut long pieces of acacia wood for carrying and cover them with gold.

14 M eterás las varas por los anillos en los costados del arca, y con ellas llevarás el arca.

Then put the pieces of wood through the rings on the sides of the box, for carrying the box.

15 L as varas no deben quitarse del arca, sino quedarse en sus anillos.

The long pieces will stay in the rings of the box. They must not be taken out.

16 E n el arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.

Put into the special box the Law which I will give you.

17 » Harás un propiciatorio de oro fino, de un metro y diez centímetros de largo por sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho.

Then make a mercy-seat from pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.

18 H arás también dos querubines de oro, labrados a martillo, que irán en los dos extremos del propiciatorio.

Make two cherubim out of beaten gold. Make them at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

19 U n querubín irá en un extremo, y un querubín en el otro extremo, y formarán una pieza con el propiciatorio.

Make one cherub on one end and one cherub on the other end. Make the top of the mercy-seat, with the cherubim at each end, of one piece.

20 L os querubines extenderán sus alas y cubrirán con ellas el propiciatorio. Sus rostros estarán el uno frente al otro, mirando hacia el propiciatorio.

The wings of the cherubim should spread up over the mercy-seat. Their faces should be toward each other, and toward the mercy-seat.

21 E l propiciatorio lo pondrás encima del arca, y dentro del arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.

Put the mercy-seat on top of the box. Put the Law which I will give you into the box.

22 D esde allí te haré saber todo lo que yo te ordene decir a los hijos de Israel. Hablaré contigo desde la parte superior del propiciatorio, de entre los dos querubines que están sobre el arca del testimonio. La mesa para el pan de la proposición

I will meet with you there. Between the two cherubim which are upon the special box of the Law, I will speak to you about all the Laws I will give you for the people of Israel. The Table for the Holy Bread

23 » Harás también una mesa de madera de acacia, de noventa centímetros de largo por cuarenta y cinco centímetros de ancho, y sesenta y cinco centímetros de alto.

“Make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits tall.

24 L a recubrirás de oro puro, y alrededor de ella le harás una cornisa de oro.

Cover it with pure gold and make a gold piece around it.

25 L e harás también una moldura alrededor, de siete centímetros de ancho, y alrededor de la moldura harás una cornisa de oro.

Make a piece around it as wide as a hand and put gold on the side of this piece all around.

26 L e harás cuatro anillos de oro, que irán en las cuatro esquinas que corresponden a sus cuatro patas.

Make four rings of gold for it. Put them on the four corners that are on the table’s four legs.

27 L os anillos quedarán debajo de la moldura, para que pasen por allí las varas para llevar la mesa.

The rings will be close to the sides, to hold the long pieces of wood used to carry the table.

28 » Las varas las harás de madera de acacia, y las recubrirás de oro. Con ellas será llevada la mesa.

Cut the long, straight pieces of acacia wood and cover them with gold. The table will be carried with these.

29 H arás también de oro fino sus platones, sus cucharas, sus cubiertas y sus tazones para las ofrendas de libación.

Make its plates, its pots and its jars, for pouring your gifts of drink. Make them of pure gold.

30 S obre la mesa pondrás el pan de la proposición, que continuamente estará delante de mí. El candelero de oro

And set the holy bread on the table before Me all the time.

31 » Harás también un candelero de oro puro, labrado a martillo. Su pie, su caña, sus copas, sus manzanas y sus flores, serán también de oro puro.

“Then make a lamp-stand of pure gold. The lamp-stand and its base are to be made of beaten gold. Its cups, its buds, and its flowers will be of one piece with it.

32 D e sus costados saldrán seis brazos; tres de un costado del candelero, y tres brazos del otro costado.

Six branches will go out of its sides, three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side, and three branches out of its other side.

33 E n cada uno de los seis brazos que salen del candelero habrá tres copas en forma de flor de almendro, una manzana y una flor.

Three cups will be made to look like almond flowers, each with bud and flower on one branch, and three on the next branch. This is to be done for all six branches going out of the lamp-stand.

34 E n la caña central del candelero habrá cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con sus manzanas y sus flores.

Four cups made to look like almond flowers, with their buds and flowers, will be put on the lamp-stand’s base.

35 E n los seis brazos que salen del candelero habrá una manzana debajo de cada dos brazos, es decir, tres manzanas para los seis brazos.

Make a bud under each of the six branches going out from the place where the lamp-stand is put.

36 L as manzanas y los brazos deben formar una sola pieza, y ser todo ello de oro puro, labrado a martillo.

Their buds and their branches will all be one piece with the lamp-stand of pure, beaten gold.

37 L e harás siete lamparillas, las cuales encenderás de modo que alumbren hacia adelante.

Then make the seven lamps and put them where they will give light to the space in front of it.

38 S us despabiladeras y sus platillos deben ser también de oro puro.

The objects for putting out the light and their dishes will be of pure gold.

39 U sarás para ello treinta kilos de oro fino, con todos estos utensilios.

Make it and all the objects for it out of a piece of gold about half the weight of a man.

40 P on cuidado en hacerlo todo según el modelo que se te ha mostrado en el monte.
