“Make the meeting tent with ten curtains of fine linen, blue and purple and red. Make them with cherubim sewed into them by an able workman.

2 C ada cortina debe medir doce y medio metros de largo por dos metros de ancho, y todas las cortinas deben medir lo mismo.

Each curtain will be as long as fourteen long steps, and as wide as two long steps, all of them the same.

3 C inco cortinas quedarán unidas la una con la otra, y las otras cinco cortinas también unidas la una con la otra.

Five curtains will be joined to one another. And the other five curtains will be joined to one another.

4 » En la orilla de la última cortina de la primera unión pondrás unos lazos de azul, y lo mismo harás en la orilla de la última cortina de la segunda unión.

Take small pieces of blue cloth, longer than they are wide. Sew both ends to the side of the last curtain in the first group. Then do the same on the side of the last curtain in the second group.

5 H arás cincuenta lazos para la primera cortina, y cincuenta lazos para la orilla de la cortina en la segunda unión. Los lazos estarán contrapuestos el uno con el otro.

Put fifty of these pieces on the one curtain. And put fifty on the side of the other curtain, so that the pieces meet each other.

6 » Harás también cincuenta corchetes de oro, con los cuales enlazarás las cortinas la una con la otra, para formar un tabernáculo.

Make fifty hooks of gold and join the curtains together with the hooks so the meeting tent will be as one.

7 » Harás también once cortinas de pelo de cabra para cubrir el tabernáculo.

“Make curtains of goat hair for a covering over the meeting tent. Make eleven curtains in all.

8 C ada cortina debe medir trece y medio metros de largo por un metro y ochenta centímetros de ancho, y las once cortinas deben medir lo mismo.

Each curtain will be as long as fifteen long steps, and as wide as two long steps, all of them the same.

9 U nirás cinco cortinas por un lado, y seis cortinas por el otro. La sexta cortina la doblarás en el frente del tabernáculo.

Join five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. Lay the sixth curtain over the front of the meeting tent twice.

10 » Harás cincuenta lazos en la orilla de la cortina, en el borde de la unión, y cincuenta lazos en la orilla de la cortina de la segunda unión.

Take fifty small pieces of cloth, longer than they are wide. Sew both ends of each to the side of the last curtain in the first group. Then sew fifty pieces onto the side of the last curtain in the second group.

11 » Harás también cincuenta corchetes de bronce, los cuales meterás por los lazos, y enlazarás las uniones para que formen una sola cubierta.

Make fifty hooks of brass. Put the hooks through the sewed pieces of cloth and join the tent together as one.

12 L a parte sobrante de las cortinas de la tienda, es decir, la mitad sobrante de la cortina, penderá a espaldas del tabernáculo.

The part that is left of the tent’s curtains, the half curtain, will lie over the back of the meeting tent.

13 T anto los cuarenta y cinco centímetros sobrantes de un lado de las cortinas de la tienda como los cuarenta y cinco centímetros sobrantes del otro lado de las cortinas, penderán a uno y otro lado de los costados del tabernáculo, para cubrirlo.

There will be parts of the tent’s curtains left over on each side, about a cubit. These will hang over each side of the meeting tent to cover it.

14 » Harás también para la tienda una cubierta de piel de carnero teñida de rojo, y encima le pondrás una cubierta de piel de delfín.

Make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins made red, and a covering over that of badgers’ skins.

15 » Harás para el tabernáculo tablas derechas de madera de acacia.

“Then make the standing pieces of wood for the meeting tent out of acacia wood.

16 C ada tabla medirá cuatro y medio metros de largo por sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho.

Each piece of wood will be as long as five long steps, and as wide as one step.

17 C ada tabla tendrá dos espigas, para unir la una con la otra. Así debes hacer todas las tablas del tabernáculo.

Make two joint-pieces in each piece of wood for joining them together. Do this for all the pieces of wood of the meeting tent.

18 H arás las tablas del tabernáculo, que serán veinte tablas para el lado sur.

Set up twenty pieces of wood for the south side of the meeting tent.

19 » Harás cuarenta bases de plata, que irán debajo de las veinte tablas: dos bases debajo de una tabla para sus dos espigas, y dos bases debajo de otra tabla para sus dos espigas.

Make forty silver bases under the twenty pieces of wood, with two holes in each one for joining the two joint-pieces on each piece of wood.

20 A l otro lado del tabernáculo, hacia el lado norte, veinte tablas

Cut twenty pieces of wood for the north side of the meeting tent.

21 c on sus cuarenta bases de plata; dos bases debajo de una tabla, y dos bases debajo de otra tabla.

And make forty silver bases, two under each piece of wood.

22 P ara el lado posterior del tabernáculo, es decir, hacia el occidente, harás seis tablas.

Then cut six pieces of wood for the back or west side of the meeting tent.

23 » Harás también dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo en los dos ángulos posteriores;

Cut two pieces of wood for the back corners.

24 l as cuales se unirán desde abajo, y por la parte alta se unirán con una bisagra; esto mismo se hará para las dos esquinas.

They will be apart at the bottom, and joined at the top with one ring. They will both be made the same and will make the two corners.

25 D e modo que serán ocho tablas, con sus bases de plata, es decir, dieciséis bases; dos bases debajo de una tabla, y dos bases debajo de otra tabla.

There will be eight special pieces of wood and their silver bases with sixteen holes, two holes under each piece of wood.

26 » Harás también cinco travesaños de madera de acacia para las tablas de un lado del tabernáculo,

“Then make cross-pieces of acacia wood, five for the pieces of wood on one side of the meeting tent,

27 y cinco travesaños para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco travesaños para las tablas del lado posterior del tabernáculo, al occidente.

and five for the pieces of wood on the other side of the meeting tent. Then make five for the pieces of wood at the back of the meeting tent to the west side.

28 Y el travesaño de en medio pasará por en medio de las tablas, de un extremo al otro.

The long, cross-piece for the center of the standing pieces of wood will go through from end to end.

29 R ecubrirás de oro las tablas, y harás de oro sus anillos para pasar por ellos los travesaños. También recubrirás de oro los travesaños.

Cover the standing pieces of wood with gold. Make rings of gold to hold the cross-pieces and cover these pieces with gold.

30 Y levantarás el tabernáculo según el modelo que te fue mostrado en el monte.

Build the meeting tent by following the plan for it that was shown to you on the mountain.

31 » Harás también un velo de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido, bellamente trabajado y con querubines,

“Make a curtain of blue and purple and red cloth and fine linen. It will be made with cherubim sewed into it by an able workman.

32 y lo pondrás sobre cuatro columnas de madera de acacia recubiertas de oro con sus capiteles de oro sobre bases de plata.

Hang it on four strong pillars of acacia wood covered with gold. Their hooks will be made of gold also. And the pillars will stand on four silver bases.

33 P ondrás el velo debajo de los corchetes, y allí, adentro del velo, meterás el arca del testimonio, y ese velo les servirá de separación entre el lugar santo y el lugar santísimo.

Hang the top of the curtain from the hooks. Then bring the box of the Law within the curtain. This curtain will divide the holy place from the Holiest Place of All.

34 P ondrás el propiciatorio en el lugar santísimo, sobre el arca del testimonio.

Put the mercy-seat on the box of the Law in the Holiest Place of All.

35 F uera del velo pondrás la mesa, y el candelero frente a la mesa, al lado sur del tabernáculo; y la mesa la pondrás al lado norte.

Set the table outside the curtain. Put the lamp-stand on the south side of the meeting tent. And put the table on the north side.

36 » Para la puerta del tabernáculo harás una cortina de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido, obra de recamador.

“Make another curtain of fine linen for the door of the tent. It will be made of blue and purple and red cloth by an able workman.

37 » Para la cortina harás cinco columnas de madera de acacia, las cuales recubrirás de oro, con sus capiteles de oro; y fundirás para ellas cinco bases de bronce.

Hang it on five pillars of acacia wood covered with gold. Make their hooks of gold. And make five brass bases for them.
