1 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

The Lord said to Moses,

2 « Habla con los hijos de Israel, y diles: “Cuando ustedes hayan entrado en la tierra que yo, el Señor, les estoy dando para que la habiten,

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘When you go into the land where you are to live, which I am giving you,

3 y me presenten ofrendas encendidas, holocaustos, o sacrificios de vacas o de ovejas, ya sea como voto especial o voluntario, o para ofrecerme en sus fiestas solemnes olor grato,

then give a gift in worship by fire to the Lord. Give a gift from the herd or the flock, a burnt gift, or a gift to keep a special promise, or a free-will gift, or one during special suppers. This will be to make a pleasing smell to the Lord.

4 e l que me presente su ofrenda deberá ofrecer dos litros de flor de harina, amasada con un litro de aceite.

The one who brings his gift will bring to the Lord a grain gift of one-tenth part of a basket of fine flour mixed with one-fourth part of a large jar of oil.

5 P ara la libación ofrecerán un litro de vino por cada cordero, además del holocausto o del sacrificio.

And make ready one-fourth part of a large jar of wine to pour over the burnt gift or for each lamb given on the altar in worship.

6 P or cada carnero ofrecerán cuatro litros de flor de harina, amasada con dos litros de aceite;

Or for a ram, make ready a grain gift of two-tenths part of a basket of fine flour mixed with one-third part of a large jar of oil.

7 y para la libación me ofrecerán dos litros de vino, en olor grato.

Then make one-third part of a large jar of wine for the drink gift, a pleasing smell to the Lord.

8 » ”Cuando me ofrezcan como voto especial un novillo en holocausto o en sacrificio, o como ofrenda de paz,

You may make ready a bull for a burnt gift or give an animal on the altar in worship, to keep a special promise, or give peace gifts to the Lord.

9 d eberán presentar junto con el novillo una ofrenda de seis litros de flor de harina, amasada con dos litros de aceite;

With the bull bring a grain gift of three-tenths part of a basket of fine flour mixed with half a large jar of oil.

10 y para la libación me ofrecerán dos litros de vino, como ofrenda encendida de olor grato.

Bring for the drink gift half a large jar of wine, as a gift by fire, a pleasing smell to the Lord.

11 » ”Así se hará con cada buey, carnero, cordero, o cabrito.

‘It must be done this way for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs or young goats.

12 S e hará lo mismo con cada uno de ellos, al margen del número de animales ofrecidos.

Whatever number you make ready, you must do for everyone.

13 A sí lo hará todo israelita por nacimiento, al presentarme una ofrenda encendida de olor grato.

All who are born in the land must do these things in this way by giving a gift by fire, a pleasing smell to the Lord.

14 Y si entre ustedes habita un extranjero, o alguien que haya estado ya mucho tiempo entre ustedes, cuando me presente una ofrenda encendida de olor grato, lo hará de la misma manera que ustedes.

A stranger staying with you, or a man living among your people, may want to give a gift by fire, a pleasing smell to the Lord. Then he must do just as you do.

15 E l mismo estatuto se aplicará para ustedes, los de la congregación, y para el extranjero que viva entre ustedes. Será un estatuto perpetuo por todas sus generaciones. Delante de mí, ustedes y los extranjeros son iguales,

There will be one Law for you and for the stranger who stays with you. It will be a Law forever for all your children-to-come. As you are, so will the stranger be before the Lord.

16 a sí que ustedes y los extranjeros que vivan con ustedes tendrán una misma ley y un mismo decreto.”»

One Law will be for you and for the stranger who stays with you.’”

17 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

Then the Lord said to Moses,

18 « Habla con los hijos de Israel, y diles: “Cuando ustedes hayan entrado en la tierra a la cual yo los llevo,

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you

19 y comiencen a comer del pan de la tierra, deberán presentarme una ofrenda.

and when you eat of the food of the land, you must lift up a gift in worship to the Lord.

20 D e lo primero que amasen, presentarán como ofrenda una torta; la presentarán como ofrenda de la era.

Give a loaf of bread as a gift from the first of your grain. Give it as the gift of the grain-floor.

21 P or todas sus generaciones, me presentarán una ofrenda de la primera masa.

From the first of your grain you and all your children-to-come must give a gift to the Lord.

22 P ero si no cumplen con todos estos mandamientos que yo, el Señor, le he comunicado a Moisés,

‘Without knowing it you might not obey all these Laws which the Lord has spoken to Moses,

23 e s decir, todo lo que yo, el Señor, les he ordenado por medio de Moisés desde el día en que yo le di mis mandamientos para todas las edades,

even all that the Lord has told you to do through Moses, from the day when the Lord told you and through all your children-to-come.

24 s i el pecado se cometió por ignorancia de la congregación, y sin ninguna intención, toda la congregación me ofrecerá, conforme a la ley, un novillo como holocausto en olor grato, junto con su ofrenda y su libación, y un macho cabrío como expiación.

If this is done without the people knowing it, then all the people must give one bull for a burnt gift. It will be a pleasing smell to the Lord. It must be brought with its grain gift and its drink gift, by the Law, and with one male goat for a sin gift.

25 E ntonces el sacerdote hará expiación por toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, y el pecado les será perdonado, porque se cometió sin ninguna intención. Ellos me presentarán sus ofrendas y sus expiaciones, como ofrenda encendida, por sus pecados no intencionales,

Then the religious leader will pay for the sins of all the people of Israel, and they will be forgiven. Because it was a mistake, they brought their gift, a gift by fire to the Lord, and their sin gift to the Lord, for their mistake.

26 y les serán perdonados a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, y a los extranjeros que habiten entre ellos, porque se trata de un pecado no intencional de todo el pueblo.

So all the people of Israel and the stranger who stays among them will be forgiven. For it happened to all the people by mistake.

27 » ”Si alguien comete un pecado no intencional, deberá ofrecer como expiación una cabra de un año.

‘If one person sins without knowing it, he must bring a one year old female goat for a sin gift.

28 E l sacerdote hará expiación por la persona que de manera no intencional haya pecado, y la reconciliará ante mí, y el pecado le será perdonado porque no fue intencional.

And the religious leader before the Lord will pay for the sin of the person who sins without knowing it. He will pay for his sin so he may be forgiven.

29 » ”Una misma ley tendrán ustedes para el que cometa algún pecado no intencional, lo mismo si se trata de un israelita por nacimiento que de algún extranjero que habite entre ustedes.

You will have one Law for him who does anything without knowing it, for him who is one of the people of Israel and for the stranger who lives among them.

30 P ero si alguien incurre en algún acto de soberbia, y me ofende, esa persona será eliminada de en medio de su pueblo, lo mismo si es israelita por nacimiento que si es extranjero,

But if a person born in the land or a stranger does anything wrong and means to do it, he is speaking against the Lord. That person must be cut off from among his people.

31 p or haber tenido en poco mi palabra y por haber menospreciado mi mandamiento. Esa persona será eliminada por completo, y sobre ella recaerá su iniquidad.”» Se infringe el día de reposo

Because he has hated the Word of the Lord and has broken His Law, that person must be cut off for sure. His guilt will be on him.’” Punishment for Those Who Worked on the Day of Rest

32 M ientras los hijos de Israel estaban en el desierto, se halló a un hombre recogiendo leña en el día de reposo.

While the people of Israel were in the desert, they found a man gathering wood on the Day of Rest.

33 L os que lo hallaron recogiendo leña lo llevaron ante Moisés y Aarón, y ante toda la congregación.

Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the people.

34 C omo no estaba estipulado lo que se debía de hacer con él, lo pusieron en la cárcel.

They put him in chains, because they did not know what should be done to him for gathering wood on the Day of Rest.

35 P ero el Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Ese hombre debe ser condenado a muerte. Que toda la congregación lo apedree fuera del campamento.»

Then the Lord said to Moses: “The man must be put to death. All the people must kill him with stones away from the tents.”

36 E ntonces la congregación lo llevó fuera del campamento y lo apedreó, y el hombre murió, tal y como el Señor se lo ordenó a Moisés. Franjas en los vestidos

So all the people took him away from the tents and killed him with stones, just as the Lord had told Moses.

37 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

The Lord said to Moses,

38 « Habla con los hijos de Israel, y diles que ellos y sus descendientes deben ponerse franjas en los bordes de sus vestidos. En cada franja de los bordes deben poner un cordón de púrpura.

“Speak to the people of Israel. Tell them that they and all their children-to-come are to make tassels for themselves on the corners of their clothing. And they are to put a blue rope on the tassel of each corner.

39 E sa franja les servirá para que, cuando la vean, se acuerden de poner en práctica todos mis mandamientos, y para que no se fijen en lo que ven o en lo que piensan, para que no se prostituyan.

It will be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the Laws of the Lord, and to do them. Do not follow your own heart and your own eyes, as you did when you acted like a woman selling the use of her body.

40 L es servirá para que se acuerden de todos mis mandamientos y los pongan en práctica, y se consagren a mí, su Dios.

It will be so that you may remember to obey all My Laws, and be holy to your God.

41 Y o soy el Señor su Dios. Yo los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para ser su Dios. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.»

I am the Lord your God Who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.”
