1 E STOS son los hijos de David, que le nacieron en Hebrón: Amnón el primogénito, de Achînoam Jezreelita; el segundo Daniel, de Abigail de Carmelo;

These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron. The first-born was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Daniel, the son of Abigail of Carmel.

2 E l tercero, Absalom, hijo de Maachâ hija de Talmai rey de Gesur; el cuarto, Adonías hijo de Aggith;

The third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of King Talmai of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith.

3 E l quinto, Sephatías, de Abithal; el sexto, Itream, de Egla su mujer.

The fifth was Shephatiah the son of Abital. And the sixth was Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah.

4 E stos seis le nacieron en Hebrón, donde reinó siete años y seis meses: y en Jerusalem reinó treinta y tres años.

Six sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven years and six months. And he ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

5 E stos cuatro le nacieron en Jerusalem: Simma, Sobab, Nathán, y Salomón, de Beth-sua hija de Ammiel.

These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel gave birth to David’s four sons, Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon.

And there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7 N oga, Nepheg, y Japhia.

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8 E lisama, Eliada, y Eliphelet.

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine sons.

9 T odos estos fueron los hijos de David, sin los hijos de las concubinas. Y Thamar fué hermana de ellos.

All these were the sons of David, added to the sons of the women who acted as David’s wives. Tamar was their sister. The Family of Solomon

10 H ijo de Salomón fué Roboam, cuyo hijo fué Abía, del cual fué hijo Asa, cuyo hijo fué Josaphat;

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam. Abijah was his son. Asa was his son. Jehoshaphat was his son.

11 D e quien fué hijo Joram, cuyo hijo fué Ochôzias, hijo del cual fué Joas;

Joram was his son. Ahaziah was his son. Joash was his son.

12 D el cual fué hijo Amasías, cuyo hijo fué Azarías, é hijo de éste Jotham;

Amaziah was his son. Azariah was his son. Jotham was his son.

13 E hijo del cual fué Achâz, del que fué hijo Ezechîas, cuyo hijo fué Manasés;

Ahaz was his son. Hezekiah was his son. Manasseh was his son.

14 D el cual fué hijo Amón, cuyo hijo fué Josías.

Amon was his son. And Josiah was his son.

15 Y los hijos de Josías: Johanán su primogénito, el segundo Joacim, el tercero Sedecías, el cuarto Sallum.

The sons of Josiah were Johanan the first-born, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.

16 L os hijos de Joacim: Jechônías su hijo, hijo del cual fué Sedecías.

The sons of Jehoiakim were Jeconiah and Zedekiah. The Family of Jeconiah

17 Y los hijos de Jechônías: Asir, Salathiel,

Jeconiah was taken away to prison by the Babylonians. His sons were Shealtiel,

18 M echiram, Pedaía, Seneaser, y Jecamía, Hosama, y Nedabía.

Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 Y los hijos de Pedaía: Zorobabel, y Simi. Y los hijos de Zorobabel: Mesullam, Hananías, y Selomith su hermana.

Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister.

20 Y de Mesullam: Hasuba, Ohel, y Berechîas, Hasadía, y Jusabhesed; cinco en todos.

Five other sons of Zerubbabel were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

21 L os hijos de Hananías: Pelatías, y Jesaías, hijo de Rephaías, hijo de Arnán, hijo de Obdías, hijo de Sechânías.

The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. His son was Arnan. His son was Obadiah. And his son was Shecaniah.

22 H ijo de Sechânías: Hattus, Igheal, Barias, Nearías, y Saphat; seis.

Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah, whose sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six sons.

23 L os hijos de Nearías fueron estos tres: Elioenai, Ezechîas, y Azricam.

The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam.

24 L os hijos de Elioenai fueron estos siete: Odavias, Eliasib, Pelaías, Accub, Johanán, Dalaías, y Anani.

And the seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
