1 A l Músico principal: Salmo de David, siervo del Señor. LA iniquidad del impío me dice al corazón: No hay temor de Dios delante de sus ojos.

Sin speaks to the sinful man within his heart. There is no fear of God in his eyes.

2 L isonjéase, por tanto, en sus propios ojos, Hasta que su iniquidad sea hallada aborrecible.

For he makes much of himself in his own eyes. So his sin is not known and hated.

3 L as palabras de su boca son iniquidad y fraude; No quiso entender para bien hacer.

The words of his mouth are sinful and false. He has stopped being wise and doing good.

4 I niquidad piensa sobre su cama; Está en camino no bueno, El mal no aborrece.

He plans wrong-doing upon his bed. He sets himself on a path that is not good. He does not hate what is bad.

5 J ehová, hasta los cielos es tu misericordia; Tu verdad hasta las nubes.

O Lord, Your loving-kindness goes to the heavens. You are as faithful as the sky is high.

6 T u justicia como los montes de Dios, Tus juicios abismo grande: Oh Jehová, al hombre y al animal conservas.

You are as right and good as mountains are big. You are as fair when You judge as a sea is deep. O Lord, You keep safe both man and animal.

7 C uán ilustre, oh Dios, es tu misericordia! Por eso los hijos de los hombres se amparan bajo la sombra de tus alas.

Of what great worth is Your loving-kindness, O God! The children of men come and are safe in the shadow of Your wings.

8 E mbriagarse han de la grosura de tu casa; Y tú los abrevarás del torrente de tus delicias.

They are filled with the riches of Your house. And You give them a drink from Your river of joy.

9 P orque contigo está el manantial de la vida: En tu luz veremos la luz.

All life came from You. In Your light we see light.

10 E xtiende tu misericordia á los que te conocen, Y tu justicia á los rectos de corazón.

Keep on giving Your loving-kindness to those who know You. Keep on being right and good to the pure in heart.

11 N o venga contra mí pie de soberbia; Y mano de impíos no me mueva.

Do not let the foot of pride come near me. Do not let the hand of the sinful push me away.

12 A llí cayeron los obradores de iniquidad; Fueron rempujados, y no pudieron levantarse.

There have the wrong-doers fallen. They have been thrown down, and cannot rise.
