Let the name of the Lord be honored, now and forever.

3 D esde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, Sea alabado el nombre de Jehová.

The name of the Lord is to be praised from the time the sun rises to when it sets.

4 A lto sobre todas las naciones es Jehová; Sobre los cielos su gloria.

The Lord is high above all nations. His shining-greatness is above the heavens.

5 ¿ Quién como Jehová nuestro Dios, Que ha enaltecido su habitación,

Who is like the Lord our God? He sits on His throne on high.

6 Q ue se humilla á mirar En el cielo y en la tierra?

He looks down upon the heavens and the earth.

7 E l levanta del polvo al pobre, Y al menesteroso alza del estiércol,

He raises the poor from the dust. He lifts those in need from the ashes.

8 P ara hacerlos sentar con los príncipes, Con los príncipes de su pueblo.

He makes them sit with rulers, with the rulers of His people.

9 E l hace habitar en familia á la estéril, Gozosa en ser madre de hijos. Aleluya.

He gives a home to the woman who could not give birth and makes her the mother of children. Praise the Lord!
