3 J erusalem, which is built as a city that is compacted together—

Jerusalém, que és edificada como uma cidade compacta,

4 T o which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed and as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord.

aonde sobem as tribos, as tribos do Senhor, como testemunho para Israel, a fim de darem graças ao nome do Senhor.

5 F or there the thrones of judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David.

Pois ali estão postos os tronos de julgamento, os tronos da casa de Davi.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love you!

Orai pela paz de Jerusalém; prosperem aqueles que te amam.

7 M ay peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces!

Haja paz dentro de teus muros, e prosperidade dentro dos teus palácios.

8 F or my brethren and companions’ sake, I will now say, Peace be within you!

Por causa dos meus irmãos e amigos, direi: Haja paz dentro de ti.

9 F or the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek, inquire for, and require your good.

Por causa da casa do Senhor, nosso Deus, buscarei o teu bem.
