4 T o which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed and as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord.

Para lá sobem as tribos do Senhor, para dar graças ao Senhor, conforme o mandamento dado a Israel.

5 F or there the thrones of judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David.

Lá estão os tribunais de justiça, os tribunais da casa real de Davi.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love you!

Orem pela paz de Jerusalém: “Vivam em segurança aqueles que te amam!

7 M ay peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces!

Haja paz dentro dos teus muros e segurança nas tuas cidadelas!”

8 F or my brethren and companions’ sake, I will now say, Peace be within you!

Em favor de meus irmãos e amigos, direi: Paz seja com você!

9 F or the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek, inquire for, and require your good.
