7 W ith God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God!

A minha salvação e a minha honra de Deus dependem; ele é a minha rocha firme, o meu refúgio.

8 T rust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah!

Confie nele em todos os momentos, ó povo; derrame diante dele o coração, pois ele é o nosso refúgio. Pausa

9 M en of low degree are emptiness (futility, a breath) and men of high degree are a lie and a delusion. In the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.

Os homens de origem humilde não passam de um sopro, os de origem importante não passam de mentira; pesados na balança, juntos não chegam ao peso de um sopro.

10 T rust not in and rely confidently not on extortion and oppression, and do not vainly hope in robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

Não confiem na extorsão, nem ponham a esperança em bens roubados; se as suas riquezas aumentam, não ponham nelas o coração.

11 G od has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.

Uma vez Deus falou, duas vezes eu ouvi, que o poder pertence a Deus.

12 A lso to You, O Lord, belong mercy and loving-kindness, for You render to every man according to his work.

Contigo também, Senhor, está a fidelidade. É certo que retribuirás a cada um conforme o seu procedimento.
