5 O ut of my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place.

10 A ll nations (the surrounding tribes) compassed me about, but in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

Todas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.

11 T hey compassed me about, yes, they surrounded me on every side; but in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

Cercaram-me por todos os lados, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.

12 T hey swarmed about me like bees, they blaze up and are extinguished like a fire of thorns; in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

Cercaram-me como um enxame de abelhas, mas logo se extinguiram como espinheiros em chamas. Em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei!

13 Y ou thrust sorely at me that I might fall, but the Lord helped me.

Empurraram-me para forçar a minha queda, mas o Senhor me ajudou.

14 T he Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.

O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico; ele é a minha salvação.

15 T he voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!

Alegres brados de vitória ressoam nas tendas dos justos: “A mão direita do Senhor age com poder!

16 T he right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!

A mão direita do Senhor é exaltada! A mão direita do Senhor age com poder!”

17 I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

Não morrerei; mas vivo ficarei para anunciar os feitos do Senhor.

18 T he Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over to death.

O Senhor me castigou com severidade, mas não me entregou à morte.

19 O pen to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord.

Abram as portas da justiça para mim, pois quero entrar para dar graças ao Senhor.

20 T his is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.

Esta é a porta do Senhor, pela qual entram os justos.

21 I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You, for You have heard and answered me; and You have become my Salvation and Deliverer.

22 T he stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.

23 T his is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

Isso vem do Senhor, e é algo maravilhoso para nós.

24 T his is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Este é o dia em que o Senhor agiu; alegremo-nos e exultemos neste dia.

25 S ave now, we beseech You, O Lord; send now prosperity, O Lord, we beseech You, and give to us success!

Salva-nos, Senhor! Nós imploramos. Faze-nos prosperar, Senhor! Nós suplicamos.

26 B lessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; we bless you from the house of the Lord.

Bendito é o que vem em nome do Senhor. Da casa do Senhor nós os abençoamos.

27 T he Lord is God, Who has shown and given us light. Decorate the festival with leafy boughs and bind the sacrifices to be offered with thick cords to the horns of the altar.

O Senhor é Deus, e ele fez resplandecer sobre nós a sua luz. Juntem-se ao cortejo festivo, levando ramos até as pontas do altar.

28 Y ou are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You.

Tu és o meu Deus; graças te darei! Ó meu Deus, eu te exaltarei!

29 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.
