1 V indicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity; I have trusted in, leaned on, and relied on the Lord without wavering and I shall not slide.

Faze-me justiça, Senhor, pois tenho vivido com integridade. Tenho confiado no Senhor, sem vacilar.

2 E xamine me, O Lord, and prove me; test my heart and my mind.

Sonda-me, Senhor, e prova-me, examina o meu coração e a minha mente;

3 F or Your loving-kindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth.

pois o teu amor está sempre diante de mim, e continuamente sigo a tua verdade.

4 I do not sit with false persons, nor fellowship with pretenders;

Não me associo com homens falsos, nem ando com hipócritas;

5 I hate the company of evildoers and will not sit with the wicked.

detesto o ajuntamento dos malfeitores, e não me assento com os ímpios.

6 I will wash my hands in innocence, and go about Your altar, O Lord,

Lavo as mãos na inocência, e do teu altar, Senhor, me aproximo

7 T hat I may make the voice of thanksgiving heard and may tell of all Your wondrous works.

cantando hinos de gratidão e falando de todas as tuas maravilhas.

8 L ord, I love the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.

Eu amo, Senhor, o lugar da tua habitação, onde a tua glória habita.

9 G ather me not with sinners and sweep me not away, nor my life with bloodthirsty men,

Não me dês o destino dos pecadores, nem o fim dos assassinos;

10 I n whose hands is wickedness, and their right hands are full of bribes.

suas mãos executam planos perversos, praticam suborno abertamente.

11 B ut as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be merciful and gracious to me.

Mas eu vivo com integridade; livra-me e tem misericórdia de mim.

12 M y foot stands on an even place; in the congregations will I bless the Lord.

Os meus pés estão firmes na retidão; na grande assembléia bendirei o Senhor.
