1 T he Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

O Senhor reina; está vestido de majestade. O Senhor se revestiu, cingiu-se de fortaleza; o mundo também está estabelecido, de modo que não pode ser abalado.

2 Y our throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.

O teu trono está firme desde a antigüidade; desde a eternidade tu existes.

3 T he floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up the roaring of their waves.

Os rios levantaram, ó Senhor, os rios levantaram o seu ruído, os rios levantam o seu fragor.

4 T he Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea.

Mais que o ruído das grandes águas, mais que as vagas estrondosas do mar, poderoso é o Senhor nas alturas.

5 Y our testimonies are very sure; holiness is becoming to Your house, O Lord, forever.

Mui fiéis são os teus testemunhos; a santidade convém ã tua casa, Senhor, para sempre.
