1 T he Lord spoke to Moses in the Sinai desert, in the meeting tent on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt. The Lord said,

В первый день второго месяца, во второй год после исхода израильтян из Египта, Господь говорил с Моисеем в шатре собрания в Синайской пустыне. Он сказал:

2 “ Number all the people of Israel, by their families, by those of their fathers’ houses. Write down the names of every male, head by head,

– Сделайте перепись израильского народа по кланам и семьям, перечисляя каждого мужчину по имени, одного за другим.

3 t wenty years old and older. You and Aaron number by their armies whoever in Israel is able to go out to war.

Исчисли вместе с Аароном всех израильтян, годных к военной службе, от двадцати лет и старше, по ополчениям.

4 A man from each family should be with you to help you. Each one should be the head of his father’s house.

Пусть от каждого рода вам помогает один человек, который является главой своей семьи.

5 T hese are the names of the men who will help you: Shedeur’s son Elizur from Reuben,

Вот имена тех, кто будет вам помогать: от Рувима – Елицур, сын Шедеура;

6 Z urishaddai’s son Shelumiel from Simeon,

от Симеона – Шелумиил, сын Цуришаддая;

7 A mminadab’s son Nahshon from Judah,

от Иуды – Нахшон, сын Аминадава;

8 Z uar’s son Nethanel from Issachar,

от Иссахара – Нафанаил, сын Цуара;

9 a nd Helon’s son Eliab from Zebulun.

от Завулона – Елиав, сын Хелона;

10 F rom the sons of Joseph there will be Ammihud’s son Elishama from Ephraim, and Pedahzur’s son Gamaliel from Manasseh.

от сыновей Иосифа: от Ефрема – Элишама, сын Аммиуда; от Манассии – Гамалиил, сын Педацура;

11 T here will be Gideoni’s son Abidan from Benjamin,

от Вениамина – Авидан, сын Гидеония;

12 A mmishaddai’s son Ahiezer from Dan,

от Дана – Ахиезер, сын Аммишаддая;

13 O chran’s son Pagiel from Asher,

от Асира – Пагиил, сын Охрана;

14 D euel’s son Eliasaph from Gad,

от Гада – Элиасаф, сын Дегуила;

15 a nd Enan’s son Ahira from Naphtali.”

от Неффалима – Ахира, сын Енана.

16 T hese were the ones chosen from the people. They were the leaders of their fathers’ families, the heads of thousands in Israel.

Это те, кто был назначен от общества, вожди отцовских родов. Это главы кланов Израиля.

17 M oses and Aaron took these men who had been chosen by name.

Моисей и Аарон с людьми, указанными поименно,

18 A nd they gathered all the people together on the first day of the second month. The people gave their names by families, by their fathers’ houses, by the number of names from twenty years old and older, head by head.

созвали собрание в первый день второго месяца. Израильтяне объявляли свои родословия по кланам и семьям, и мужчины от двадцати лет и старше были перечислены по именам, один за другим,

19 T hey did just as the Lord had told Moses. So he numbered them in the desert of Sinai.

как повелел Моисею Господь. Так он исчислил их в Синайской пустыне:

20 T he sons of Reuben, Israel’s first-born, were numbered by their families, by their fathers’ houses, by the number of names. Every male twenty years old and older was numbered, whoever was able to go out to war.

из потомков Рувима, первенца Израиля: все мужчины от двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, один за другим, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей.

21 T he number of the family of Reuben was 46, 500.

В роду Рувима их было 46 500.

44 T hese were numbered by Moses and Aaron, and the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each chosen from his father’s house.

Это мужчины, исчисленные Моисеем и Аароном и двенадцатью вождями Израиля, из которых каждый представлял свою семью.

45 A ll the men of Israel were numbered by their fathers’ houses, twenty years old and older, whoever in Israel was able to go out to war.

Все израильтяне двадцати лет и старше, годные в Израиле к военной службе, были исчислены по их семьям.

46 T he number of all the men was 603, 550.

Всего их было 603 550.

47 B ut the Levites by their fathers’ family were not numbered with them.

Однако семьи из рода Левия, не были исчислены вместе с остальными.

48 F or the Lord had told Moses,

Господь сказал Моисею:

49 “ Only the family of Levi should not be numbered. Do not add their number among the sons of Israel.

− Не исчисляй род Левия и не включай их в перепись вместе с остальными израильтянами.

50 B ut have the Levites take care of the meeting tent of the Law, and all that is in it, and all that belongs to it. They will carry the meeting tent and all that goes in it. They will take care of it, and set up their tents around it.

Поручи левитам скинию свидетельства, всю ее утварь и все, что при ней. Пусть они будут носить скинию и всю ее утварь, пусть заботятся о них и разбивают вокруг скинии свой лагерь.

51 W hen the meeting tent is to be moved, the Levites will take it down. When the meeting tent is brought to a place to stay, the Levites will set it up. If anyone else comes near, he must be put to death.

Когда скинию нужно будет перенести, пусть левиты снимают ее, а когда ее нужно будет поставить, пусть и это делают они. Если к ней приблизится посторонний, он будет предан смерти.

52 T he people of Israel will set up their tents by their own groups and armies, each man by his own flag.

Израильтяне будут ставить шатры по ополчениям, каждый в своем лагере, под своим знаменем.

53 B ut the Levites will set up their tents around the meeting tent of the Law. Then no anger will come upon the people of Israel. The Levites must take care of the meeting tent of the Law.”

Но левиты будут ставить шатры вокруг скинии свидетельства, чтобы на род израильтян не пал гнев. Левиты будут нести стражу при скинии свидетельства.

54 S o the people of Israel did this. They did everything the Lord had told Moses.

Израильтяне сделали все точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.
