1 N ow Joshua was old. He had lived many years. The Lord said to him, “You are old and have lived many years. And there is very much land yet to be taken.

2 T his is the land that is left. There is all the land of the Philistines and the Geshurites,

Вот земля, которая еще остается: все области филистимлян и гешуритов:

3 f rom the Shihor east of Egypt as far as the land of Ekron in the north (it is thought of as Canaanite). There are the five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, Ekron, and those of the Avvim.

от реки Шихора, что к востоку от Египта до границы Экрона на севере, – все они считаются ханаанскими (это земля пяти филистимских правителей, что в Газе, Ашдоде, Ашкелоне, Гате и Экроне), и области аввитов;

4 I n the south, there is all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, as far as Aphek, to the land of the Amorite,

а с юга вся земля хананеев от сидонской Ары до Афека, до области аморреев,

5 a nd the land of the Gebalite. There is all of Lebanon east from Baal-gad at the base of Mount Hermon as far as Lebo-hamath.

область гевалитов, и к востоку весь Ливан, от Баал-Гада под горой Хермон до Лево-Хамата.

6 I will drive out from in front of the people of Israel all those living in the hill country from Lebanon as far as Misrephoth-maim, all the Sidonians. Give the land as a gift to Israel, as I have told you.

Что до всех жителей нагорий от Ливана до Мисрефот-Маима, сидонян, то Я Сам прогоню их перед израильтянами. Только выдели эту землю Израилю в наследие, как Я тебе велел,

7 D ivide this land for a gift to the nine families and to the half-family group of Manasseh.”

и раздели ее в наследие девяти родам и половине рода Манассии. Раздел земли к востоку от Иордана

8 T he other half-family group, the Reubenites and the Gadites received their gift of land which Moses gave them east of the Jordan, just as the Lord’s servant Moses gave it to them.

Другая половина рода Манассии, рувимиты и гадиты уже получили удел, который Моисей дал им к востоку от Иордана, как он, слуга Господа, им и назначил.

9 I t spread from Aroer, beside the Arnon valley, and the city in the center of the valley, and the plain of Medeba as far as Dibon,

Их удел простирается от Ароера, на берегу потока Арнона, и от города посредине долины и включает в себя все плоскогорье Медева до Дивона,

10 a nd all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon. And it went as far as the land of the Ammonites,

а также все города Сигона, царя аморреев, который царствовал в Хешбоне, до самой границы аммонитян,

11 a nd Gilead, and the land of the Geshurites and Maacathites. They received all Mount Hermon, all Bashan as far as Salecah,

12 a nd all the nation of Og in Bashan, who ruled in Ashtaroth and Edrei. (He alone was left of the Rephaim still living.) For Moses had won the war against them and had driven them out.

13 B ut the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites. For Geshur and Maacath live among Israel to this day.

14 M oses did not give any land to the family of Levi. Gifts given on the altar to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their share, as He said to him.

Только роду Левия Моисей не дал удела, потому что огненные жертвоприношения Господу, Богу Израиля, и есть их наследие, как Он и сказал ему.

15 M oses gave land to the family group of the Reubenites by their families.

Вот что Моисей дал роду Рувима, по их кланам:

16 T heir land was from Aroer beside the Arnon valley, and the city in the center of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba,

землю от Ароера, что на берегу потока Арнона, и от города, который в середине долины, и все плоскогорье при Медеве,

17 w ith Heshbon and all its cities on the plain. There was Dibon, Bamoth-baal, Bethbaal-meon,

с Хешбоном и всеми его городами, что на плоскогорье: Дивон, Бамот-Баал, Бет-Баал-Меон,

18 J ahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,

Иахац, Кедемоф, Мефааф,

19 K iriathaim, Sibmah. There was Zereth-shahar on the hill of the valley,

Кирьятаим, Сивма, Цереф-Шахар, что на холме в долине,

20 B eth-peor, the hill-sides of Pishgah, and Beth-jeshimoth.

21 T here were all the cities of the plain, and all the nation of Sihon king of the Amorites who ruled in Heshbon. Moses won the war against Sihon and the leaders of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.

− все города на плоскогорье и все царство Сигона, царя аморреев, который царствовал в Хешбоне. Моисей победил его и мадианских вождей – Евия, Рекема, Цура, Хура и Реву – вождей, союзных Сигону – которые жили в той стране.

22 T he sons of Israel also killed with the sword Balaam, the son of Beor, the one who told what would happen in the future.

Кроме тех, кто был убит в бою, израильтяне предали мечу прорицателя Валаама, сына Беора.

23 T he side of the land belonging to the people of Reuben was the Jordan. This is what was given to the people of Reuben for their families with their cities and towns.

Границей рувимитов был берег Иордана. Эти города с окрестными поселениями были уделом рувимитов по их кланам.

24 M oses gave land to the family group of the Gadites for their families.

Вот что Моисей дал роду Гада, по их кланам:

25 T heir land was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead. And it was half the land of the Ammonites, as far as Aroer which is east of Rabbah.

землю Иазера, все города Галаада и половину земли аммонитян до Ароера, рядом с Раввой;

26 I t went from Heshbon as far as Ramath-mizpeh and Betonim, and from Mahanaim as far as the land of Debir.

и от Хешбона до Рамат-Мицпы и Ветонима и от Маханаима до земель Давира;

27 I n the valley there was Bethharam, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon. They were given the rest of the nation of Sihon king of Heshbon, with the Jordan along its side. It went up to the south end of the Sea of Chinnereth east of the Jordan.

а в долине Бет-Гарам, Бет-Нимру, Суккот и Цафон с остатком царства Сигона, царя Хешбона (восточная сторона Иордана, земли до нижней оконечности моря Киннерет).

28 T his is what was given to the people of Gad for their families with their cities and towns.

Эти города с окрестными поселениями были уделом гадитов по их кланам.

29 M oses gave land to the half-family group of Manasseh. It was divided among the families of the half-family group of the sons of Manasseh.

Вот что Моисей дал половине рода Манассии, то есть половине семьи потомков Манассии по их кланам:

30 T heir land was from Mahanaim through all Bashan, all the nation of Og king of Bashan. It was all the towns of Jair which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

землю, которая тянется от Маханаима и включает весь Башан, все царство Ога, царя Башана – все поселения Иаира в Башане, шестьдесят городов,

31 I t was half of Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei, the cities of the nation of Og in Bashan. These were given to the people of Machir the son of Manasseh, for half of the sons of Machir by their families.

половину Галаада, и Аштарот и Эдреи (царские города Ога в Башане). Таков был удел потомков Махира, сына Манассии, удел половины махиритов по их кланам.

32 T hese are the lands which Moses divided in the plains of Moab on the other side of the Jordan east of Jericho.

Таковы уделы, которые Моисей дал, когда был на равнинах Моава, за Иорданом к востоку от Иерихона.

33 B ut Moses did not give any land to the family of Levi. The Lord, the God of Israel, is their share, as He had told them.

Но роду Левия Моисей не дал удела: Господь, Бог Израиля, вот их удел, как Он сказал им.
