1 I t was now two days before the supper of the special religious gathering to remember how the Jews left Egypt and the supper of bread without yeast. The religious leaders and the teachers of the Law tried to trap Jesus. They tried to take Him so they could put Him to death.

Через два дня наступала Пасха и праздник Пресных хлебов. Первосвященники и учители Закона искали удобного случая, чтобы хитростью схватить Иисуса и убить.

2 T hese men said, “This must not happen on the day of the special supper. The people would be against it and make much trouble.” Mary of Bethany Puts Special Perfume on Jesus

– Только не во время праздника, – говорили они, – иначе народ может взбунтоваться. Женщина помазывает Иисуса дорогими благовониями (Мат. 26: 6-13; Лк. 7: 37-38; Ин. 12: 1-8)

3 J esus was in the town of Bethany eating in the house of Simon. Simon was a man with a very bad skin disease. A woman came with a jar of special perfume. She had given much money for this. She broke the jar and poured the special perfume on the head of Jesus.

Иисус в это время был в Вифании, в доме прокаженного Симона. Он возлежал за столом, когда в дом вошла женщина с алебастровым кувшином очень дорогого ароматического масла, приготовленного из чистого нарда. Отбив запечатанное горлышко, она вылила масло на голову Иисусу.

4 S ome of them were angry. They said, “Why was this special perfume wasted?

Некоторые из присутствовавших возмутились: – Зачем так тратить благовония?

5 T his perfume could have been sold for much money and given to poor people.” They spoke against her.

Ведь его можно было продать больше чем за триста динариев, а деньги раздать нищим, – упрекали они ее.

6 J esus said, “Let her alone. Why are you giving her trouble? She has done a good thing to Me.

Но Иисус сказал: – Оставьте ее, что вы ее упрекаете? Она сделала для Меня доброе дело.

7 Y ou will have poor people with you all the time. Whenever you want, you can do something good for them. You will not have Me all the time.

Потому что нищие всегда с вами, и вы можете делать им добро, когда захотите, а Я не всегда буду с вами.

8 S he did what she could. She put this perfume on My body to make Me ready for the grave.

Она сделала, что могла: заранее помазала Мое тело для погребения.

9 F or sure, I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in all the world, this woman will be remembered for what she has done.” Judas Hands Jesus Over to Be Killed

Говорю вам истину: во всем мире, везде, где будет возвещена Радостная Весть, там в память об этой женщине будет рассказано и о том, что она сделала. Иуда решает предать Иисуса (Мат. 26: 14-16; Лк. 22: 3-6)

10 J udas Iscariot was one of the twelve followers. He went to the head religious leaders of the Jews to talk about how he might hand Jesus over to them.

Иуда Искариот, один из двенадцати, пошел к первосвященникам, чтобы предать им Иисуса.

11 W hen the leaders heard it, they were glad. They promised to give Judas money. Then he looked for a way to hand Jesus over. Getting Ready for the Special Supper

Услышав, для чего он пришел, они обрадовались и обещали заплатить ему. И Иуда стал искать удобного случая, чтобы предать Иисуса. Приготовление к празднику Пасхи (Мат. 26: 17-19; Лк. 22: 7-13)

12 T he first day of the supper of bread without yeast was the day to kill an animal. It was for the special religious gathering to remember how the Jews left Egypt. His followers said to Jesus, “What place do You want us to make ready for You to eat this special supper?”

В первый день праздника Пресных хлебов, когда закалывали пасхальных ягнят, ученики спросили Иисуса: – Куда нам пойти, чтобы приготовить Тебе пасхальный ужин?

13 J esus sent two of His followers on ahead and said to them, “Go into the city. There a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.

И Он послал двух учеников, сказав им: – Идите в город, там вы встретите человека, несущего кувшин воды, идите за ним.

14 H e will go into a house. You say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks, “Where is the room you keep for friends, where I can eat this special supper with My followers?”’

Скажите хозяину дома, куда этот человек войдет: «Учитель спрашивает: где Моя комната, в которой Я буду есть пасхальный ужин с Моими учениками?»

15 H e will take you to a large room on the second floor with everything in it. Make it ready for us.”

Он покажет вам большую комнату наверху, приготовленную и убранную; там и приготовьте нам ужин.

16 T he followers went from there and came into the city. They found everything as Jesus had said. They made things ready for the special supper.

Ученики пошли, вошли в город; и все произошло так, как им сказал Иисус. Они приготовили пасхальный ужин. Последний ужин Иисуса с учениками (Мат. 26: 20-29; Лк. 22: 17-23; 1 Кор. 11: 23-25)

17 I n the evening He came with the twelve followers.

Вечером Иисус пришел туда с двенадцатью.

18 T hey sat at the table and ate. Jesus said, “For sure, I tell you, one of you will hand Me over to be killed. He is eating with Me.”

Когда они возлежали и ели, Иисус сказал: – Говорю вам истину: один из вас, кто сейчас ест со Мной, предаст Меня.

19 T hey were very sad. They said to Him one after the other, “Is it I?”

Учеников это сильно опечалило, и один за другим они стали спрашивать Его: – Не я ли?

20 H e said to them, “It is one of the twelve followers. It is the one who is putting his hand with mine into the same dish.

– Один из двенадцати, – ответил Иисус, – тот, кто вместе со Мной обмакивает хлеб в блюдо.

21 T he Son of Man is going away as it is written of Him. But it will be bad for that man who hands the Son of Man over to be killed! It would have been better if he had not been born!” The First Lord’s Supper

Хотя Сын Человеческий уходит так, как о Нем сказано в Писании, но горе тому человеку, который предает Сына Человеческого! Лучше бы не родиться вообще тому человеку.

22 A s they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread. He gave thanks and broke it in pieces. He gave it to them and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.”

Когда они ели, Иисус взял хлеб и, благословив, разломил его, дал им и сказал: – Возьмите, это Мое тело.

23 T hen He took the cup and gave thanks. He gave it to them and they all drank from it.

Затем Он взял чашу, поблагодарил за нее и подал им, и они все пили из нее.

24 H e said to them, “This is My blood of the New Way of Worship which is given for many.

– Это Моя кровь завета, проливаемая за многих, – сказал Иисус.

25 F or sure, I tell you, that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the holy nation of God.”

– Говорю вам истину: Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до того дня, когда Я буду пить новое вино в Божьем Царстве.

26 A fter they sang a song, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Jesus Tells How Peter Will Lie about Him

Они спели и пошли на Масличную гору. Предсказание об отречении Петра (Мат. 26: 30-35; Лк. 22: 31-34; Ин. 13: 37-38)

27 J esus said to them, “All of you will be ashamed of Me and leave Me tonight. For it is written, ‘I will kill the shepherd and the sheep of the flock will spread everywhere.’

– Вы все отступитесь от Меня, – сказал им Иисус, – ведь написано: «Я поражу Пастуха, и разбегутся овцы».

28 A fter I am raised from the dead, I will go before you into the country of Galilee.”

Но когда Я воскресну, то пойду в Галилею и буду ждать вас там.

29 P eter said to Him, “Even if all men are ashamed of You and leave You, I never will.”

Петр сказал Ему: – Даже если все Тебя оставят, я никогда этого не сделаю.

30 J esus said to him, “For sure, I tell you, that today, even tonight, before a rooster crows two times, you will say three times you do not know Me.”

– Говорю тебе истину, – сказал ему Иисус, – в эту ночь, прежде чем петух пропоет два раза, ты трижды отречешься от Меня.

31 P eter spoke with strong words, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never say that I do not know You.” All the followers said the same thing. Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

Но Петр уверял: – Даже если мне придется умереть с Тобой, я никогда не откажусь от Тебя. И все ученики говорили то же. Молитва Иисуса в Гефсиманском саду (Мат. 26: 36-46; Лк. 22: 39-46)

32 T hey came to a place called Gethsemane. Jesus said to His followers, “You sit here while I pray.”

Они пришли на место, называемое Гефсимания, и Иисус сказал Своим ученикам: – Посидите здесь, пока Я буду молиться.

33 H e took Peter and James and John with Him. He began to have much sorrow and a heavy heart.

С Собой Он взял Петра, Иакова и Иоанна. Его охватили ужас и тревога.

34 H e said to them, “My soul is very sad. My soul is so full of sorrow I am ready to die. You stay here and watch.”

Тогда Он сказал им: – Душа моя объята смертельной печалью. Побудьте здесь и бодрствуйте.

35 H e went a little farther and got down with His face on the ground. He prayed that this time of suffering might pass from Him if it could.

Отойдя немного, Он пал на землю и молился, чтобы, если возможно, этот час миновал Его.

36 H e said, “Father, You can do all things. Take away what must happen to Me. Even so, not what I want, but what You want.”

– Абба! Отец! – сказал Он. – Ты все можешь! Пронеси эту чашу мимо Меня, но пусть будет не как Я хочу, а как Ты хочешь.

37 T hen Jesus came to the followers and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not able to watch one hour?

Он возвратился к Своим ученикам и нашел их спящими. – Симон, – спросил Он Петра, – ты спишь? Неужели ты не мог пободрствовать хоть один час?

38 W atch and pray so that you will not be tempted. Man’s spirit wants to do this, but the body does not have the power to do it.”

Бодрствуйте и молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. Дух бодр, но тело слабо.

39 A gain Jesus went away and prayed saying the same words.

Иисус снова ушел и молился теми же словами.

40 H e came back and found them sleeping again. Their eyes were heavy. They did not know what to say to Him.

Когда Он вернулся, ученики опять спали, потому что их веки отяжелели; они не знали, что отвечать Иисусу.

41 H e came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! Listen, the time has come when the Son of Man will be handed over to sinners.

Возвратившись в третий раз, Иисус сказал им: – Вы все спите и отдыхаете? Довольно! Время настало, и Сын Человеческий предается в руки грешников.

42 G et up and let us go. See! The man who will hand Me over to the head religious leader is near.” Jesus Handed Over to Sinners

Вставайте, идем. Вот уже и Мой предатель приблизился. Иисус предан и арестован (Мат. 26: 47-56; Лк. 22: 47-50; Ин. 18: 3-11)

43 A t once, while Jesus was talking, Judas came. He was one of the twelve followers. He came with many other men who had swords and sticks. They came from the head religious leaders of the Jews and the teachers of the Law and the leaders of the people.

Он еще говорил, как появился Иуда, один из двенадцати, и с ним толпа, вооруженная мечами и кольями. Их послали первосвященники, учители Закона и старейшины.

44 T he man who was going to hand Jesus over gave the men something to look for. He said, “The Man I kiss is the One. Take hold of Him and take Him away.”

Предатель так условился с ними: «Хватайте Того, Кого я поцелую, и уводите под стражей».

45 A t once Judas went straight to Jesus and said, “Teacher!” and kissed Him.

Придя на место, Иуда сразу подошел к Иисусу и сказал. – Рабби! – и поцеловал Его.

46 T hen they put their hands on Him and took Him.

Пришедшие с Иудой, схватив Иисуса, взяли Его под стражу.

47 O ne of the followers of Jesus who stood watching took his sword. He hit the servant owned by the head religious leader and cut off his ear.

Один из стоявших рядом вытащил меч, ударил им слугу первосвященника и отсек ему ухо.

48 J esus said to them, “Have you come with swords and sticks to take Me as if I were a robber?

– Что Я – разбойник, что вы пришли с мечами и кольями, чтобы арестовать Меня? – спросил их Иисус.

49 I have been with you every day teaching in the house of God. You never took hold of Me. But this has happened as the Holy Writings said it would happen.”

– Каждый день Я был с вами в храме и учил, и вы не схватили Меня. Но пусть исполнятся Писания.

50 T hen all His followers left Him and ran away.

Все ученики оставили Его и убежали.

51 A young man was following Him with only a piece of cloth around his body. They put their hands on the young man.

За Иисусом пошел лишь один молодой человек, завернувшись в покрывало на голое тело. Когда его схватили,

52 L eaving the cloth behind, he ran away with no clothes on. Jesus Stands in Front of the Head Religious Leaders

он вырвался и убежал голый, оставив покрывало в руках у стражников. На допросе у первосвященника Каиафы (Мат. 26: 57-68; Лк. 22: 54-55, 63-71; Ин. 18: 12-13, 19-24)

53 T hey led Jesus away to the head religious leader. All the religious leaders and other leaders and the teachers of the Law were gathered there.

В доме первосвященника, куда привели Иисуса, собрались все первосвященники, старейшины и учители Закона.

54 B ut Peter followed a long way behind as they went to the house of the head religious leader. He sat with the helpers and got warm by the fire. Jesus Stands in Front of the Court

Петр, держась поодаль, прошел во двор первосвященника и сел со стражниками греться у костра.

55 T he religious leaders and all the court were looking for something against Jesus. They wanted to find something so they could kill Him. But they could find nothing.

Первовященники и весь Высший Совет искали показания против Иисуса, чтобы приговорить Его к смерти, но они ничего не могли найти.

56 M any came and told false things about Him, but their words did not agree.

Выступало много лжесвидетелей, но их показания не совпадали.

57 S ome got up and said false things against Him. They said,

Нашлось несколько человек, которые встали и ложно заявили:

58 “ We have heard Him say, ‘I will destroy the house of God that was made with hands. In three days I will build another that is not made with hands.’”

– Мы слышали, как Он говорил: «Я разрушу этот храм, сотворенный руками людей, и в три дня построю другой, нерукотворный».

59 E ven these who spoke against Him were not able to agree.

Но и в этом их свидетельства не совпали.

60 T he head religious leader stood up in front of the people. He asked Jesus, “Have You nothing to say? What about the things these men are saying against You?”

Потом первосвященник, встав посредине, спросил Иисуса: – Тебе нечего ответить на эти свидетельства против Тебя?

61 J esus said nothing. Again the head religious leader asked Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Holy One?”

Но Иисус молчал, не отвечая ни слова. Первосвященник опять спросил Его: – Ты ли Христос, Сын Благословенного?

62 J esus said, “I am! And you will see the Son of Man seated on the right side of the All-powerful God. You will see Him coming again in the clouds of the sky.”

– Я, – ответил Иисус, – и вы увидите Сына Человеческого сидящим по правую руку от Всемогущего и идущим на облаках небесных.

63 T hen the head religious leader tore his clothes apart. He said, “Do we need other people to speak against Him?

Разорвав на себе одежды, первосвященник сказал: – Какие нам еще нужны свидетели?

64 Y ou have heard Him speak as if He were God! What do you think?” They all said He was guilty of death.

Вы сами слышали кощунство! Каково ваше решение? Все признали, что Он виновен и заслуживает смерти.

65 S ome began to spit on Him. They covered Jesus’ face, and they hit Him. They said, “Tell us what is going to happen.” Soldiers hit Him with their hands. Peter Said He Did Not Know Jesus

Тогда некоторые начали плевать на Него; Иисусу закрывали лицо, били Его кулаками и говорили: – Пророчествуй! Потом Его стали избивать стражники. Отречение Петра (Мат. 26: 69-75; Лк. 22: 54-62; Ин. 18: 15-18, 25-27)

66 P eter was outside in the yard. One of the servant-girls of the head religious leader came.

Петр же в это время был во дворе. Туда пришла одна из служанок первосвященника

67 S he saw Peter getting warm. She looked at him and said, “You were with Jesus of Nazareth.”

и, увидев Петра, гревшегося у костра, всмотрелась в него и сказала: – Ты тоже был с Иисусом из Назарета.

68 P eter lied, saying, “I do not know Jesus and do not understand what you are talking about.” As he went out, a rooster crowed.

Но Петр отрицал это. – Я вообще не знаю, о чем ты говоришь, – сказал он и вышел во внешний двор. И тут пропел петух.

69 T he servant-girl saw him again. She said to the people standing around, “This man is one of them.”

Служанка увидела Петра и там и опять стала говорить стоявшим рядом: – Это один из них.

70 H e lied again saying that he did not know Jesus. Later, those who stood around said to Peter again, “For sure you are one of them. You are from the country of Galilee. You talk like they do.”

Петр снова отрицал. Но спустя немного времени стоявшие там люди опять сказали ему: – Точно, ты один из них, ты ведь галилеянин.

71 H e began to say strong words and to swear. He said, “I do not know the Man you are talking about!”

Но Петр начал клясться и божиться: – Я не знаю Человека, о Котором вы говорите.

72 A t once a rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered what Jesus had said to him, “Before a rooster crows two times, you will say three times you do not know Me.” When he thought about it, he cried.

И тотчас во второй раз пропел петух, и Петр вспомнил слова Иисуса: «Прежде чем два раза пропоет петух, ты трижды отречешься от Меня». И он горько заплакал.
