Glasul Domnului răsună deasupra apelor. Dumnezeul slavei face să bubuie tunetul; Domnul este deasupra apelor mari.

4 T he voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

Glasul Domnului răsună cu putere, glasul Domnului răsună cu măreţie.

5 T he voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.

Glasul Domnului doboară cedrii; Domnul doboară cedrii Libanului.

6 H e makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.

El face Libanul să sară ca un viţel şi Sirionul – ca un pui de bivol sălbatic.

7 T he voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.

Glasul Domnului despică cu scânteieri de foc.

8 T he voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.

Glasul Domnului face să tremure pustia, Domnul face să tremure pustia Kadeş.

9 T he voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

Glasul Domnului apleacă stejarii şi despoaie pădurile; în Templul Său toţi strigă: „Slavă!“

10 T he Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.

În timpul potopului Domnul era pe tron; Domnul va trona ca împărat pe vecie.

11 T he Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Domnul dă tărie poporului Său. Domnul binecuvântează pe poporul Său cu pace.
