1 A nd He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand.

A intrat din nou în sinagogă, şi acolo era un om care avea o mână uscată.

2 S o they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.

Ei Îl urmăreau pe Isus să vadă dacă-l va vindeca în ziua de Sabat, ca să-L poată astfel acuza.

3 A nd He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.”

Isus i-a zis omului care avea mâna uscată: „Ridică-te şi stai în mijloc!“

4 T hen He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent.

Apoi le-a zis lor: „Este voie în ziua de Sabat să faci bine sau să faci rău, să salvezi o viaţă sau să omori?“ Ei însă tăceau.

5 A nd when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

Şi-a rotit privirea peste ei cu mânie şi apoi, mâhnit de împietrirea inimii lor, i-a zis omului: „Întinde-ţi mâna!“ El a întins-o şi mâna lui a fost vindecată.

6 T hen the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. A Great Multitude Follows Jesus

Atunci fariseii au ieşit afară şi au ţinut imediat sfat cu irodienii împotriva Lui, cum să-L omoare. Mulţimile Îl urmează pe Isus

7 B ut Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea

Isus S-a dus împreună cu ucenicii Săi spre mare. Şi o mare mulţime de oameni din Galileea L-au urmat. De asemenea, o mare mulţime de oameni din Iudeea,

8 a nd Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things He was doing, came to Him.

din Ierusalim, din Idumeea, de dincolo de Iordan şi din jurul Tirului şi al Sidonului, când au auzit despre tot ce făcea, au venit la El.

9 S o He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him.

El le-a zis ucenicilor Săi să-I ţină la îndemână o barcă mică, din cauza mulţimii, ca să nu-L îmbulzească.

10 F or He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him.

Căci El îi vindecase pe mulţi şi de aceea toţi cei ce aveau boli se înghesuiau în jurul Lui ca să-L atingă.

11 A nd the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, “You are the Son of God.”

Când Îl vedeau, duhurile necurate cădeau înaintea Lui şi strigau: „Tu eşti Fiul lui Dumnezeu!“

12 B ut He sternly warned them that they should not make Him known. The Twelve Apostles

El însă le atenţiona cu severitate să nu-L facă cunoscut. Alegerea celor doisprezece apostoli

13 A nd He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.

Isus S-a urcat pe munte şi i-a chemat pe cei pe care El a vrut, iar ei au venit la El.

14 T hen He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,

El a ales doisprezece, (pe care i-a numit apostoli), ca să fie cu El, să-i trimită să predice

15 a nd to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:

şi să le dea autoritate să scoată demoni.

16 S imon, to whom He gave the name Peter;

(Iată-i deci pe cei doisprezece pe care i-a ales): Simon, căruia i-a pus numele Petru;

17 J ames the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom He gave the name Boanerges, that is, “Sons of Thunder”;

Iacov, fiul lui Zebedei, şi Ioan, fratele lui Iacov, cărora le-a pus numele „ Boanerghes “, care înseamnă „Fiii tunetului“;

18 A ndrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite;

Andrei; Filip; Bartolomeu; Matei; Toma; Iacov, fiul lui Alfeu; Tadeu; Simon, zelotul,

19 a nd Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. And they went into a house. A House Divided Cannot Stand

şi Iuda Iscarioteanul, cel care L-a trădat pe Isus. Isus şi Beelzebul

20 T hen the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

Au venit apoi în casă, dar mulţimea s-a adunat din nou, aşa că ei nu puteau nici măcar să mănânce.

21 B ut when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”

Când au auzit ai Lui ce se întâmplă, au ieşit să-L înşface, căci ziceau că a înnebunit.

22 A nd the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.”

Cărturarii care veniseră de la Ierusalim ziceau că îl are în El pe Beelzebul şi că scoate demonii cu ajutorul conducătorului demonilor.

23 S o He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?

Isus i-a chemat la El şi le-a vorbit în pilde: „Cum poate Satan să-l scoată afară pe Satan?!

24 I f a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Dacă o împărăţie este dezbinată împotriva ei înseşi, împărăţia aceea nu poate dăinui.

25 A nd if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Şi dacă o casă este dezbinată împotriva ei înseşi, casa aceea nu va putea dăinui.

26 A nd if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.

Aşadar, dacă Satan se ridică împotriva lui însuşi şi este dezbinat, atunci nu poate dăinui, ci i-a venit sfârşitul.

27 N o one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house. The Unpardonable Sin

Nimeni nu poate să intre în casa celui puternic şi să-i fure lucrurile, decât dacă îl leagă mai întâi pe cel puternic! Abia atunci îi va putea jefui casa.

28 “ Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter;

Adevărat vă spun că oamenilor le vor fi iertate toate păcatele şi toate blasfemiile pe care le vor rosti,

29 b ut he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation” —

dar cel ce blasfemiază împotriva Duhului Sfânt nu va avea parte de iertare în veci, ci este vinovat de un păcat veşnic.“

30 b ecause they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” Jesus’ Mother and Brothers Send for Him

Spunea astfel pentru că ei ziceau: „Are un duh necurat!“ Mama şi fraţii lui Isus

31 T hen His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.

Atunci mama şi fraţii Lui au venit şi, stând afară, au trimis să-L cheme.

32 A nd a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.”

Mulţimea care şedea în jurul Lui I-a zis: – Iată că mama Ta, fraţii Tăi (şi surorile Tale) sunt afară şi Te caută!

33 B ut He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?”

Isus le-a răspuns: – Cine este mama Mea şi cine sunt fraţii Mei?

34 A nd He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

Şi rotindu-şi privirea peste cei ce şedeau în jurul Lui, a zis: – Iată mama Mea şi fraţii Mei!

35 F or whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

Căci cel ce face voia lui Dumnezeu, acela Îmi este frate, soră şi mamă.
