1 T he beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Începutul Evangheliei lui Isus Cristos, (Fiul lui Dumnezeu).

2 A s it is written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.”

Aşa cum este scris în Isaia, profetul: „Iată, îl trimit înaintea feţei Tale pe solul Meu, care-Ţi va pregăti calea!“

3 “ The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the L ord; Make His paths straight.’”

„Un glas strigă în pustie: «Pregătiţi calea Domnului, neteziţi-I cărările!»“

4 J ohn came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Ioan Botezătorul a venit în pustie şi a început să predice botezul pocăinţei spre iertarea păcatelor.

5 T hen all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

Toţi cei din ţinutul Iudeii şi toţi locuitorii Ierusalimului au început să vină la el şi, mărturisindu-şi păcatele, erau botezaţi de el în râul Iordan.

6 N ow John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.

Ioan avea îmbrăcămintea din păr de cămilă, iar în jurul mijlocului avea un brâu de piele. El se hrănea cu lăcuste şi cu miere sălbatică.

7 A nd he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.

Ioan vestea şi zicea: „După mine vine Cel Ce este mai puternic decât mine, Căruia eu nu sunt vrednic să mă aplec să-I dezleg cureaua sandalelor!

8 I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” John Baptizes Jesus

Eu v-am botezat cu apă, dar El vă va boteza cu Duhul Sfânt.“ Botezul şi ispitirea lui Isus

9 I t came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

În acele zile a venit Isus din Nazaretul Galileii şi a fost botezat de către Ioan în Iordan.

10 A nd immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.

Imediat după ce a ieşit din apă, El a văzut cerurile deschise şi pe Duhul coborând peste El ca un porumbel.

11 T hen a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Satan Tempts Jesus

Şi din ceruri s-a auzit un glas care zicea: „Tu eşti Fiul Meu preaiubit; în Tine Îmi găsesc plăcerea!“

12 I mmediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.

Imediat Duhul L-a dus în pustie.

13 A nd He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him. Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry

El a stat în pustie timp de patruzeci de zile, fiind ispitit de Satan. Acolo stătea împreună cu animalele sălbatice, iar îngerii Îi slujeau. Primii ucenici

14 N ow after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

După ce Ioan a fost închis, Isus a venit în Galileea, predicând Evanghelia lui Dumnezeu.

15 a nd saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Four Fishermen Called as Disciples

El zicea: „S-a împlinit vremea! Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este aproape! Pocăiţi-vă şi credeţi în Evanghelie!“

16 A nd as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

În timp ce trecea pe lângă Marea Galileii, Isus l-a văzut pe Simon şi pe Andrei, fratele lui Simon, care tocmai aruncau năvoadele în mare, căci erau pescari.

17 T hen Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

Isus le-a zis: „Veniţi după Mine şi vă voi face pescari de oameni!“

18 T hey immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Ei şi-au lăsat imediat năvoadele şi L-au urmat.

19 W hen He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.

Mergând puţin mai încolo, l-a văzut pe Iacov, fiul lui Zebedei, şi pe Ioan, fratele lui. Ei erau într-o barcă şi îşi reparau năvoadele.

20 A nd immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him. Jesus Casts Out an Unclean Spirit

Imediat El i-a chemat, iar ei l-au lăsat pe tatăl lor, Zebedei, în barcă, împreună cu cei angajaţi şi L-au urmat. Isus vindecă un demoniac în Capernaum

21 T hen they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.

S-au dus în Capernaum şi, în Sabatul imediat următor, El a intrat în sinagogă şi a început să dea învăţătură.

22 A nd they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Oamenii erau uimiţi de învăţătura Lui, căci El îi învăţa ca Unul Care are autoritate, nu cum îi învăţau cărturarii.

23 N ow there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,

Chiar atunci în sinagoga lor era un om stăpânit de un duh necurat.

24 s aying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

El a strigat: – Ce avem noi de-a face cu Tine, Isuse din Nazaret? Ai venit să ne distrugi? Ştiu Cine eşti: Sfântul lui Dumnezeu!

25 B ut Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

Isus l-a mustrat zicându-i: – Taci şi ieşi afară din el!

26 A nd when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.

Duhul necurat a ieşit din el, scuturându-l şi scoţând un strigăt puternic.

27 T hen they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Toţi au rămas uimiţi, aşa că se întrebau între ei: „Ce înseamnă aceasta? Este o învăţătură nouă, care are autoritate. El porunceşte chiar şi duhurilor necurate, iar ele Îl ascultă!“

28 A nd immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee. Peter’s Mother-in-Law Healed

Şi I s-a dus vestea imediat pretutindeni, în toată regiunea din jurul Galileii. Isus vindecă bolnavii

29 N ow as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Imediat după ce au ieşit din sinagogă, s-au dus împreună cu Iacov şi Ioan în casa lui Simon şi a lui Andrei.

30 B ut Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once.

Soacra lui Simon era întinsă pe pat, având febră, şi ei I-au vorbit imediat despre ea.

31 S o He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them. Many Healed After Sabbath Sunset

El a venit, a prins-o de mână şi a ridicat-o. Şi febra a lăsat-o, iar ea a început să le slujească.

32 A t evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.

Seara, după ce a apus soarele, au adus la El pe toţi bolnavii şi pe cei demoniaci.

33 A nd the whole city was gathered together at the door.

Întreaga cetate era adunată la uşă.

34 T hen He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him. Preaching in Galilee

El i-a vindecat pe mulţi care sufereau de diferite boli şi a scos afară mulţi demoni. Pe demoni nu-i lăsa să vorbească, pentru că ei Îl cunoşteau. Isus se roagă într-un loc pustiu

35 N ow in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.

Dis-de-dimineaţă, când încă era întuneric, Isus S-a sculat, a ieşit, şi S-a dus într-un loc pustiu. Şi se ruga acolo.

36 A nd Simon and those who were with Him searched for Him.

Dar Simon şi cei ce erau de obicei cu El au început să-L caute

37 W hen they found Him, they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.”

şi, când L-au găsit, I-au zis: – Toţi Te caută!

38 B ut He said to them, “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.”

Isus le-a răspuns: – Să mergem în altă parte, în satele învecinate, ca să predic şi acolo, căci pentru aceasta am ieşit!

39 A nd He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons. Jesus Cleanses a Leper

Şi S-a dus în toată Galileea, predicând în sinagogile lor şi scoţând demoni. Curăţarea unui bolnav de lepră

40 N ow a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

A venit la El un lepros care a îngenuncheat şi L-a rugat spunând: – Dacă vrei, poţi să mă curăţeşti!

41 T hen Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

Cuprins de milă, Isus a întins mâna, l-a atins şi i-a zis: – Da, vreau. Fii curăţit!

42 A s soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

Lepra l-a părăsit imediat şi a fost curăţit.

43 A nd He strictly warned him and sent him away at once,

Isus i-a atras atenţia şi i-a spus să plece imediat,

44 a nd said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

zicându-i totodată: – Vezi să nu spui nimănui nimic, ci du-te, arată-te preotului şi adu pentru curăţirea ta ceea ce a poruncit Moise, drept mărturie pentru ei.

45 H owever, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.

Dar el a ieşit afară şi a început să vorbească şi să răspândească vestea atât de mult, încât Isus nu mai putea să intre pe faţă în cetate, ci stătea afară, în locuri pustii. Şi oamenii veneau la El de pretutindeni.
