1 A nd he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Atunci mi-a arătat râul apei vieţii, scânteind ca şi cristalul. El ieşea din tronul lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului,

2 I n the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

trecând prin mijlocul străzii cetăţii. Pe fiecare mal al râului se afla pomul vieţii, care făcea roade de douăsprezece ori, dându-şi rodul o dată în fiecare lună. Frunzele pomului erau pentru vindecarea neamurilor.

3 A nd there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

Nu va mai fi nimic blestemat acolo. Tronul lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului vor fi în cetate, iar robii Lui I se vor închina.

4 T hey shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

Îi vor vedea faţa, iar Numele Lui va fi pe frunţile lor.

5 T here shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. The Time Is Near

Nu va mai fi noapte, nu vor mai avea nevoie de lumina lămpii şi nici de lumina soarelui, pentru că Domnul Dumnezeu îi va lumina. Ei vor domni în vecii vecilor.

6 T hen he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.

Mi-a spus: „Aceste cuvinte sunt demne de încredere şi adevărate. Domnul, Dumnezeul duhurilor profeţilor, Şi-a trimis îngerul să le arate robilor Săi lucrurile care trebuie să se întâmple în curând.“ Isus vine în curând

7 “ Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

„Iată, Eu vin curând! Ferice de cel ce păzeşte cuvintele profeţiei din această carte!“

8 N ow I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

Eu, Ioan, sunt cel care am auzit şi am văzut aceste lucruri. Când le-am auzit şi le-am văzut, am căzut să mă închin la picioarele îngerului care mi le-a arătat.

9 T hen he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

Dar el mi-a zis: „Vezi să nu faci lucrul acesta! Eu sunt slujitor împreună cu tine, cu fraţii tăi, profeţii, şi cu cei ce păzesc cuvintele din cartea aceasta. Lui Dumnezeu să I te închini!“

10 A nd he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

Apoi mi-a zis: „Să nu pecetluieşti cuvintele profeţiei din această carte, căci vremea este aproape.

11 H e who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” Jesus Testifies to the Churches

Cel ce face rău, să facă rău şi mai departe; cel întinat să se întineze şi mai departe; cel drept să facă dreptate şi mai departe; iar cel sfânt să se sfinţească şi mai departe!“

12 “ And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

„Iată, Eu vin curând şi răsplata Mea este cu Mine, ca să dau fiecăruia după fapta lui.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Eu sunt Alfa şi Omega, Cel Dintâi şi Cel De Pe Urmă, Începutul şi Sfârşitul.

14 B lessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Ferice de cei ce-şi spală hainele, ca să aibă dreptul la pomul vieţii şi să poată intra pe porţi în cetate!

15 B ut outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

Afară sunt câinii, vrăjitorii, cei desfrânaţi, ucigaşii, închinătorii la idoli şi oricine iubeşte şi practică minciuna.

16 “ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

Eu, Isus, l-am trimis pe îngerul Meu ca să vă adeverească aceste lucruri pentru biserici. Eu sunt Rădăcina şi Spiţa lui David, Steaua strălucitoare de dimineaţă.“

17 A nd the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. A Warning

Duhul şi Mireasa zic: „Vino!“, iar cel ce aude să zică: „Vino!“ Cel însetat, să vină; iar cel ce doreşte, să ia fără plată apa vieţii!

18 F or I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;

Depun mărturie înaintea oricui aude cuvintele profeţiei din această carte că, dacă cineva adaugă ceva la ele, Dumnezeu îi va adăuga urgiile descrise în această carte;

19 a nd if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. I Am Coming Quickly

şi dacă cineva scoate din cuvintele cărţii acestei profeţii, Dumnezeu îi va lua partea de la pomul vieţii şi din Cetatea Sfântă, care sunt descrise în această carte.

20 H e who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Cel Ce depune mărturie cu privire la aceste lucruri spune: „Da, Eu vin curând.“ Amin! Vino, Doamne Isuse!

21 T he grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Harul Domnului Isus să fie cu toţi!
