1 “ Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says the Lord.

„Vai de păstorii care distrug şi risipesc turma păşunii Mele, zice Domnul.

2 T herefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the Lord.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, împotriva păstorilor care pasc pe poporul Meu: «Pentru că Mi-aţi risipit oile, le-aţi izgonit şi nu le-aţi îngrijit, vă voi pedepsi pentru răutatea faptelor voastre, zice Domnul.

3 “ But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

Eu Însumi voi aduna rămăşiţa turmei Mele din toate ţările în care am izgonit-o şi o voi aduce înapoi în păşunea ei, unde va rodi şi se va înmulţi.

4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord.

Voi pune peste ea păstori care o vor paşte. Nu îi va mai fi teamă, nici groază şi nici o oaie nu va mai lipsi din ea, zice Domnul.»

5 “ Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

«Iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când îi voi ridica lui David un Vlăstar drept, un Împărat Care va împărăţi cu înţelepciune şi Care va face judecată şi dreptate în ţară.

6 I n His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

În zilele lui, Iuda va fi mântuit şi Israel va locui în siguranţă. Va fi cunoscut sub Numele de Domnul, Dreptatea noastră!

7 “ Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’

De aceea, iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când nu se va mai zice: ‘Viu este Domnul, Care i-a scos pe israeliţi din ţara Egiptului’,

8 b ut, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.” False Prophets and Empty Oracles

ci: ‘Viu este Domnul, Care a scos şi a adus înapoi pe urmaşii Casei lui Israel din nord şi din toate ţările în care îi risipise!’ Atunci ei vor locui în propria lor ţară.»“ Mesaj cu privire la profeţi

9 M y heart within me is broken Because of the prophets; All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, And like a man whom wine has overcome, Because of the Lord, And because of His holy words.

Cu privire la profeţi: „Inima îmi este zdrobită înăuntrul meu; toate oasele îmi tremură; sunt ca un om beat, ca un om biruit de vin din cauza Domnului şi a sfintelor Lui cuvinte.

10 F or the land is full of adulterers; For because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, And their might is not right.

Ţara este plină de cei ce comit adulter; din cauza blestemului ţara jeleşte şi păşunile din pustie sunt uscate. Alergarea lor este rea şi puterea lor este pentru nelegiuire.“

11 “ For both prophet and priest are profane; Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the Lord.

„Căci atât profetul, cât şi preotul sunt stricaţi. Chiar şi în Casa Mea le-am găsit răutatea, zice Domnul.

12 “ Therefore their way shall be to them Like slippery ways; In the darkness they shall be driven on And fall in them; For I will bring disaster on them, The year of their punishment,” says the Lord.

De aceea, calea lor va fi precum alunecuşul; vor fi împinşi în întuneric şi vor cădea în el, căci voi aduce nenorocirea peste ei în anul când îi voi pedepsi, zice Domnul.“

13 “ And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: They prophesied by Baal And caused My people Israel to err.

„Printre profeţii Samariei am văzut următoarea scârboşenie: ei au profeţit în numele lui Baal şi l-au rătăcit pe poporul Meu, Israel.

14 A lso I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies; They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to Me, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

Printre profeţii Ierusalimului am văzut un lucru îngrozitor: ei comit adulter şi trăiesc în minciună; îi sprijină pe răufăcători astfel că nici unul nu se întoarce de la răutatea lui. Toţi sunt înaintea Mea ca Sodoma, iar locuitorii cetăţii ca Gomora.“

15 “ Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets: ‘Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, And make them drink the water of gall; For from the prophets of Jerusalem Profaneness has gone out into all the land.’”

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Oştirilor despre profeţi: «Iată, îi voi face să se hrănească cu pelin şi le voi da să bea ape otrăvite, căci, prin profeţii Ierusalimului, s-a răspândit stricăciunea în toată ţara.»“

16 T hus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Oştirilor: «Nu ascultaţi cuvintele pe care vi le profeţesc profeţii voştri, căci ei vă dau speranţe false; vă spun viziuni inventate de mintea lor, care nu sunt din gura Domnului.

17 T hey continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord has said, “You shall have peace”’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’”

Ei spun celor ce Mă dispreţuiesc: ‘ Domnul a zis: ‘Veţi avea pace’, iar tuturor celor ce trăiesc după încăpăţânarea inimii lor le spun: ‘Nu va veni asupra voastră nici un rău!’

18 F or who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, And has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it?

Dar care dintre ei a fost prezent la sfatul Domnului ca să vadă şi să audă Cuvântul Lui? Cine a luat aminte la Cuvântul Lui şi l-a ascultat?»“

19 B ehold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury— A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked.

„Iată, furtuna Domnului izbucneşte cu mânie, vijelia se năpusteşte şi cade asupra capului celor răi.

20 T he anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly.

Mânia Domnului nu se va potoli până când El nu Îşi va împlini în întregime planurile inimii Lui. În zilele de pe urmă veţi înţelege limpede lucrul acesta.“

21 “ I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

„Nu Eu i-am trimis pe aceşti profeţi, şi totuşi ei au alergat. Nu Eu le-am vorbit, şi totuşi ei au profeţit.

22 B ut if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way And from the evil of their doings.

Dacă ar fi fost prezenţi la sfatul Meu, ar fi vestit poporului Meu cuvintele Mele şi l-ar fi întors de la calea lui cea rea, de la răutatea faptelor lui.

23 “ Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord, “And not a God afar off?

Sunt Eu numai un Dumnezeu de aproape, zice Domnul, nu şi un Dumnezeu de departe?

24 C an anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.

Se poate ascunde cineva în locuri secrete fără ca Eu să-l văd? zice Domnul. Nu umplu Eu cerurile şi pământul? zice Domnul.

25 “ I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’

Am auzit ce spun profeţii care profeţesc minciuni în Numele Meu. Ei zic: «Am avut un vis! Am avut un vis!»

26 H ow long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart,

Până când vor continua profeţii aceştia să profeţească minciunile şi înşelătoriile minţii lor?

27 w ho try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.

Ei cred că prin visele pe care şi le povestesc unul altuia îl vor face pe poporul Meu să-Mi uite Numele, tot aşa cum strămoşii lor Mi-au uitat Numele în favoarea lui Baal.

28 “ The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord.

Profetul care a avut un vis să istorisească visul, dar cel care are Cuvântul Meu, să vestească acel Cuvânt întocmai. Căci ce au a face paiele cu grânele? zice Domnul.

29 “ Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

Nu este Cuvântul Meu ca un foc şi ca un ciocan care sfărâmă stânca în bucăţi? zice Domnul.

30 “ Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor.

De aceea, iată, sunt împotriva profeţilor care-şi fură unul altuia cuvintele aşa zis ale Mele, spune Domnul.

31 B ehold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’

Da, zice Domnul, sunt împotriva profeţilor care iau cuvântul lor şi-l profeţesc drept Cuvânt al Meu!

32 B ehold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the Lord, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the Lord.

Sunt împotriva celor ce profeţesc vise mincinoase, zice Domnul. Ei le istorisesc şi rătăcesc astfel pe poporul Meu cu minciunile şi cu îndrăzneala lor. Nu Eu i-am trimis şi nu Eu le-am poruncit. Ei nu sunt de nici un folos pentru poporul acesta, zice Domnul.

33 “ So when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, ‘What is the oracle of the Lord ?’ you shall then say to them, ‘What oracle?’ I will even forsake you,” says the Lord.

Dacă cineva din poporul acesta, sau un profet, sau un preot te va întreba: «Care este oracolul Domnului ?», să le spui: «Ce oracol ? Vă voi lepăda!», zice Domnul.

34 “ And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ I will even punish that man and his house.

Iar pe profetul, preotul sau altcineva din popor care va zice: « Acesta este oracolul Domnului!», îl voi pedepsi Eu, atât pe acel om, cât şi pe familia lui.

35 T hus every one of you shall say to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, ‘What has the Lord answered?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

Fiecare să zică prietenului sau fratelui său: «Ce a răspuns Domnul ?» sau: «Ce a zis Domnul ?»

36 A nd the oracle of the Lord you shall mention no more. For every man’s word will be his oracle, for you have perverted the words of the living God, the Lord of hosts, our God.

Dar să nu mai ziceţi: « Acesta este oracolul Domnului!», căci cuvântul celui ce spune acestea, devine propriul lui oracol şi astfel voi pervertiţi cuvintele Dumnezeului celui Viu, Domnul Oştirilor, Dumnezeul nostru.

37 T hus you shall say to the prophet, ‘What has the Lord answered you?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

Deci să zici profetului astfel: «Ce ţi-a răspuns Domnul ?» sau: «Ce ţi-a vorbit Domnul ?»

38 B ut since you say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Because you say this word, “The oracle of the Lord!” and I have sent to you, saying, “Do not say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’”

Dacă însă veţi mai zice: « Acesta este oracolul Domnului!», iată ce spune Domnul: «Pentru că aţi folosit cuvintele: ‘Acesta este oracolul Domnului!’, când Eu v-am spus să nu le mai folosiţi,

39 t herefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence.

iată, vă voi uita de tot şi vă voi lepăda din prezenţa Mea, atât pe voi, cât şi cetatea pe care v-am dat-o vouă şi strămoşilor voştri.

40 A nd I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’”

Voi pune peste voi o batjocură şi o ruşine veşnică, care nu vor fi uitate.»“
