1 O h come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Veniţi să strigăm de bucurie către Domnul, să strigăm către Stânca mântuirii noastre!

2 L et us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Să ne înfăţişăm înaintea Lui cu laude şi să strigăm către El prin cântări!

3 F or the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.

Căci Domnul este un Dumnezeu mare, este un împărat mare, mai presus de toţi zeii!

4 I n His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.

El ţine în mână adâncimile pământului, iar înălţimile munţilor sunt ale Lui.

5 T he sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.

A Lui este marea, – El a făcut-o – iar uscatul, mâinile Lui l-au întocmit.

6 O h come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Veniţi să I ne închinăm, să I ne plecăm înainte, să îngenunchem înaintea Domnului, Creatorul nostru!

7 F or He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:

Căci El este Dumnezeul nostru, iar noi suntem poporul păşunii Lui, turma mâinii Sale! „Astăzi dacă auziţi glasul Lui,

8 “ Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

nu vă împietriţi inimile ca la Meriba, ca în ziua de la Masa, în pustie,

9 W hen your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work.

când strămoşii voştri M-au pus la încercare şi M-au ispitit, deşi Îmi văzuseră lucrările!

10 F or forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’

Timp de patruzeci de ani am fost scârbit de acea generaţie şi am zis: «Ei sunt un popor care s-a rătăcit în inima lui şi n-au cunoscut căile Mele.»

11 S o I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”

De aceea am jurat în mânia Mea: «Nu vor intra în odihna Mea!»“
