Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul! Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul din ceruri, lăudaţi-L în înălţimi!

2 P raise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!

Lăudaţi-L, toţi îngerii Lui, lăudaţi-L, toată oştirea Lui!

3 P raise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!

Lăudaţi-L, soare şi lună, lăudaţi-L, stele strălucitoare, toate!

4 P raise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!

Lăudaţi-L, ceruri preaînalte, şi voi, ape de deasupra cerurilor!

5 L et them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.

Să laude Numele Domnului, căci El a poruncit şi acestea au fost făcute!

6 H e also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away.

El le-a aşezat la locul lor pe vecie printr-o lege pe care nu o va încălca.

7 P raise the Lord from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths;

Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul, cei de pe pământ, monştri ai apelor şi toate adâncurile,

8 F ire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

fulgerul şi grindina, zăpada şi ceaţa, vântul năprasnic ce-I împlineşte porunca,

9 M ountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;

munţii şi toate dealurile, copacii roditori şi toţi cedrii,

10 B easts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying fowl;

fiarele şi toate vitele, târâtoarele şi păsările înaripate,

11 K ings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;

regii pământului şi toate neamurile, prinţii şi toţi demnitarii pământului,

12 B oth young men and maidens; Old men and children.

tinerii şi tinerele, bătrânii şi copiii deopotrivă!

13 L et them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

Să laude cu toţii Numele Domnului, pentru că numai Numele Lui este înălţat, iar măreţia Lui este mai presus de pământ şi ceruri!

14 A nd He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

El înalţă puterea poporului Său; aceasta este o pricină de laudă pentru credincioşii Săi, pentru fiii lui Israel, poporul care Îi este aproape. Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!
