1 M y God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?

Dumnezeul meu, Dumnezeul meu, de ce m-ai părăsit? Eşti atât de departe de izbăvirea mea şi de cuvintele strigătului meu!

2 O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent.

Dumnezeul meu, strig ziua, dar nu-mi răspunzi, strig noaptea, dar nu găsesc odihnă.

3 B ut You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.

Dar Tu eşti sfânt, eşti întronat în mijlocul laudelor lui Israel.

4 O ur fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them.

În Tine au nădăjduit strămoşii noştri; ei au nădăjduit, iar Tu i-ai izbăvit;

5 T hey cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.

au strigat către Tine şi au fost scăpaţi; au nădăjduit în Tine şi nu au fost daţi de ruşine.

6 B ut I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people.

Dar eu sunt vierme, nu om; am ajuns de râsul oamenilor şi dispreţuit de popor.

7 A ll those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

Cei ce mă văd îşi bat joc de mine, rânjesc şi clatină din cap.

8 “ He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”

„S-a încrezut în Domnul! Să-l scape El! Să-l izbăvească, căci doar Îşi găseşte plăcerea în el!“

9 B ut You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts.

Şi totuşi Tu m-ai scos din pântecele mamei mele şi mi-ai dat ocrotire la pieptul ei.

10 I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God.

Sub privirea Ta am fost scos din pântece; încă din pântecele maicii mele, Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu.

11 B e not far from Me, For trouble is near; For there is none to help.

Nu Te îndepărta de mine, căci necazul este aproape şi nu am nici un ajutor!

12 M any bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.

Mă încercuiesc mulţi tauri, nişte tauri puternici din Başan mă înconjoară.

13 T hey gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.

Îşi deschid gura împotriva mea ca leul care sfâşie şi răcneşte.

14 I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me.

Sunt turnat ca apa şi toate oasele mi se despart. Ca ceara mi se topeşte inima înăuntrul meu.

15 M y strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death.

Mi se usucă puterea ca lutul, iar limba mi se lipeşte de cerul gurii: m-ai adus în ţărâna morţii.

16 F or dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet;

Mă încercuiesc nişte câini, o ceată de nelegiuiţi mă învăluieşte; mi-au străpuns mâinile şi picioarele.

17 I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.

Toate oasele aş putea să mi le număr. Ei se uită, mă privesc;

18 T hey divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.

şi-au împărţit veşmintele mele între ei şi au tras la sorţi pentru cămaşa mea.

19 B ut You, O Lord, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me!

Dar Tu, Doamne, nu Te îndepărta! Tăria mea, grăbeşte de-mi ajută!

20 D eliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog.

Scapă-mi sufletul de sabie, şi viaţa din ghearele câinilor!

21 S ave Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me.

Izbăveşte-mă din gura leului! Eliberează-mă din coarnele bivolului sălbatic!

22 I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

Voi vesti Numele Tău fraţilor mei; te voi lăuda în mijlocul adunării!

23 Y ou who fear the Lord, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!

Cei ce vă temeţi de Domnul, lăudaţi-L! Voi, toţi urmaşii lui Iacov, slăviţi-L! Temeţi-vă de El, voi, toţi urmaşii lui Israel!

24 F or He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard.

Căci El nu dispreţuieşte, nici nu nesocoteşte necazul sărmanului; nu-Şi ascunde faţa de acesta, ci-l ascultă când strigă către El după ajutor.

25 M y praise shall be of You in the great assembly; I will pay My vows before those who fear Him.

Tu eşti pricina laudelor mele în adunarea cea mare! Îmi voi împlini jurămintele înaintea celor ce se tem de Tine!

26 T he poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever!

Cei săraci vor mânca şi se vor sătura; cei ce Îl caută pe Domnul Îl vor lăuda. Veşnic să vă trăiască sufletul!

27 A ll the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You.

Toate marginile pământului îşi vor aminti şi se vor întoarce la Domnul. Toate familiile neamurilor se vor închina înaintea Lui,

28 F or the kingdom is the Lord ’s, And He rules over the nations.

căci a Domnului este domnia şi El stăpâneşte peste neamuri!

29 A ll the prosperous of the earth Shall eat and worship; All those who go down to the dust Shall bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep himself alive.

Toţi cei prosperi de pe pământ vor mânca şi I se vor închina; înaintea Lui vor îngenunchea toţi cei ce se coboară în ţărână, cei ce nu pot să-şi păstreze viaţa.

30 A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation,

Urmaşii Îi vor sluji şi se va povesti istorisi generaţiei următoare despre Stăpânul.

31 T hey will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, That He has done this.

Ei vor veni şi vor vesti dreptatea Lui, iar poporului care se va naşte îi vor vesti lucrarea Lui.
