1 P raise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise Him on high!

2 P raise Him, all His angels! Praise Him, all His army!

Lăudaţi-L, toţi îngerii Lui, lăudaţi-L, toată oştirea Lui!

3 P raise Him, sun and moon! Praise Him, all you shining stars!

Lăudaţi-L, soare şi lună, lăudaţi-L, stele strălucitoare, toate!

4 P raise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

Lăudaţi-L, ceruri preaînalte, şi voi, ape de deasupra cerurilor!

5 L et them praise the name of the Lord! For He spoke and they came into being.

Să laude Numele Domnului, căci El a poruncit şi acestea au fost făcute!

6 H e has made them last forever and ever. He has set a Law which will not pass away.

El le-a aşezat la locul lor pe vecie printr-o lege pe care nu o va încălca.

7 P raise the Lord from the earth, you large sea animals and all seas,

Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul, cei de pe pământ, monştri ai apelor şi toate adâncurile,

8 f ire and hail, snow and clouds, and wind storms, obeying His Word.

fulgerul şi grindina, zăpada şi ceaţa, vântul năprasnic ce-I împlineşte porunca,

9 P raise the Lord, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all tall trees,

munţii şi toate dealurile, copacii roditori şi toţi cedrii,

10 w ild animals and all cattle, small animals that move on the ground and birds that fly,

fiarele şi toate vitele, târâtoarele şi păsările înaripate,

11 k ings of the earth and all people, princes and all leaders of the earth,

regii pământului şi toate neamurile, prinţii şi toţi demnitarii pământului,

12 b oth young men and women who have never had men, and old men and children.

tinerii şi tinerele, bătrânii şi copiii deopotrivă!

13 L et them praise the name of the Lord. For His name alone is honored. His shining-greatness is above earth and heaven.

Să laude cu toţii Numele Domnului, pentru că numai Numele Lui este înălţat, iar măreţia Lui este mai presus de pământ şi ceruri!

14 H e has raised up a horn for His people, praise for all who belong to Him, for the people of Israel, who are near to Him. Praise the Lord!

El înalţă puterea poporului Său; aceasta este o pricină de laudă pentru credincioşii Săi, pentru fiii lui Israel, poporul care Îi este aproape. Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!
