Louvem-no todos os seus anjos, louvem-no todos os seus exércitos celestiais.

3 P raise Him, sun and moon! Praise Him, all you shining stars!

Louvem-no sol e lua, louvem-no todas as estrelas cintilantes.

4 P raise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

Louvem-no os mais altos céus e as águas acima do firmamento.

5 L et them praise the name of the Lord! For He spoke and they came into being.

Louvem todos eles o nome do Senhor, pois ordenou, e eles foram criados.

6 H e has made them last forever and ever. He has set a Law which will not pass away.

Ele os estabeleceu em seus lugares para todo o sempre; deu-lhes um decreto que jamais mudará.

7 P raise the Lord from the earth, you large sea animals and all seas,

Louvem o Senhor, vocês que estão na terra, serpentes marinhas e todas as profundezas,

8 f ire and hail, snow and clouds, and wind storms, obeying His Word.

relâmpagos e granizo, neve e neblina, vendavais que cumprem o que ele determina,

9 P raise the Lord, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all tall trees,

todas as montanhas e colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros,

10 w ild animals and all cattle, small animals that move on the ground and birds that fly,

todos os animais selvagens e os rebanhos domésticos, todos os demais seres vivos e as aves,

11 k ings of the earth and all people, princes and all leaders of the earth,

reis da terra e todas as nações, todos os governantes e juízes da terra,

12 b oth young men and women who have never had men, and old men and children.

13 L et them praise the name of the Lord. For His name alone is honored. His shining-greatness is above earth and heaven.

Louvem todos o nome do Senhor, pois somente o seu nome é exaltado; a sua majestade está acima da terra e dos céus.

14 H e has raised up a horn for His people, praise for all who belong to Him, for the people of Israel, who are near to Him. Praise the Lord!

Ele concedeu poder ao seu povo, e recebeu louvor de todos os seus fiéis, dos israelitas, povo a quem ele tanto ama. Aleluia!
