1 T his is the Word of the Lord which came to Micah of Moresheth about Samaria and Jerusalem in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Israel Is Judged

A palavra do Senhor que veio a Miquéias de Moresete durante os reinados de Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá; visão que ele teve acerca de Samaria e de Jerusalém:

2 H ear, O people, all of you. Listen, O earth and all who are in it. The Lord God will speak against you from His holy house.

Ouçam, todos os povos; prestem atenção, ó terra e todos os que nela habitam; que o Senhor, o Soberano, do seu santo templo testemunhe contra vocês. O Julgamento de Samaria e de Jerusalém

3 S ee, the Lord is coming from His place. He will come down and walk on the high places of the earth.

Vejam! O Senhor já está saindo da sua habitação; ele desce e pisa os lugares altos da terra.

4 T he mountains will melt under Him and the valleys will break open, like a candle in front of the fire, like water poured down a hill.

Debaixo dele os montes se derretem como cera diante do fogo, e os vales racham ao meio, como que rasgados pelas águas que descem velozes encosta abaixo.

5 A ll this is because Jacob would not obey and because of the sins of the people of Israel. What is Jacob’s sin? Is it not Samaria? What is the high place of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?

Tudo por causa da transgressão de Jacó, dos pecados da nação de Israel. Qual é a transgressão de Jacó? Acaso não é Samaria? Qual é o altar idólatra de Judá? Acaso não é Jerusalém?

6 S o I will make Samaria a waste in the open country, making it a place to plant grape-fields. I will pour her stones down into the valley, and lay open the base of the city.

“Por isso farei de Samaria um monte de entulho em campo aberto, um lugar para plantação de vinhas; atirarei as suas pedras no vale e porei a descoberto os seus alicerces.

7 A ll of her false gods will be broken to pieces. Everything given in the place of worship will be burned with fire. I will destroy all her objects of worship, for she gathered them from the pay of a woman who sells the use of her body. They will return to pay a woman who sells the use of her body. Jerusalem Will Be Taken

Todas as suas imagens esculpidas serão despedaçadas e todos os seus ganhos imorais serão consumidos pelo fogo; destruirei todas as suas imagens. Visto que o que ela ajuntou foi como ganho da prostituição, como salário de prostituição tornará a ser usado.” O Lamento do Profeta

8 B ecause of this I must cry out in sorrow. I must go without shoes and clothing. I must cry out like the wild dogs, and cry in sorrow like the ostriches.

Por causa disso chorarei e lamentarei; andarei descalço e nu. Uivarei como um chacal e gemerei como um filhote de coruja.

9 F or her hurt cannot be cured. It has come to Judah. It has come to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Pois a ferida de Samaria é incurável e chegou a Judá. O flagelo alcançou até mesmo a porta do meu povo, até a própria Jerusalém!

10 D o not tell about it in Gath. Do not cry at all. Roll in the dust in Beth-leaphrah.

Não contem isso em Gate, e não chorem. Habitantes de Bete-Ofra, revolvam-se no pó.

11 G o on your way, people of Shaphir, without clothing and in shame. The people of Zaanan do not come out. Cries of sorrow come from Beth-ezel. Its help is taken from you.

Saiam nus e cobertos de vergonha, vocês que moram em Safir. Os habitantes de Zaanã não sairão de sua cidade. Bete-Ezel está em prantos; foi-lhe tirada a proteção.

12 T hose who live in Maroth become weak waiting for good, because trouble has come down from the Lord to the gate of Jerusalem.

Os que vivem em Marote se contorcem de dor aguardando alívio, porque a desgraça veio da parte do Senhor até as portas de Jerusalém.

13 T ie the war-wagons to the horses, you people of Lachish. You were the beginning of sin to the people of Zion, for the sins of Israel were found in you.

Habitantes de Láquis, atrelem aos carros as parelhas de cavalos. Vocês foram o início do pecado da cidade de Sião, pois as transgressões de Israel foram aprendidas com vocês.

14 S o give gifts to Moresheth-gath. The people of Achzib will fool the kings of Israel.

Por isso vocês darão presentes de despedida a Moresete-Gate. A cidade de Aczibe se revelará enganosa aos reis de Israel.

15 I will bring one who will beat you in battle, O people of Mareshah. The shining-greatness of Israel will come to Adullam.

Trarei um conquistador contra vocês que vivem em Maressa. A glória de Israel irá a Adulão.

16 C ut off all your hair in sorrow for the children you love. Let no hair be on your head like the eagle, for your children will be taken away from you.

Rapem a sua cabeça em pranto por causa dos filhos nos quais vocês se tanto se alegram; fiquem calvos como a águia, pois eles serão tirados vocês e levados para o exílio.
