1 J esus looked up and saw rich men putting their money into the money box in the house of God.

Când Şi-a ridicat privirea, i-a văzut pe cei bogaţi punându-şi darurile în vistieria Templului.

2 H e saw a poor woman whose husband had died. She put in two very small pieces of money.

A văzut şi o văduvă săracă, punând acolo două lepta.

3 H e said, “I tell you the truth, this poor woman has put in more than all of them.

Isus a zis: „Adevărat vă spun că această văduvă săracă a pus mai mult decât toţi,

4 F or they have put in a little of the money they had no need for. She is very poor and has put in all she had. She has put in what she needed for her own living.” Jesus Tells of the House of God

pentru că toţi aceştia au pus din abundenţa lor, dar ea, din sărăcia ei, a pus tot ce avea ca să trăiască.“ Semne ale sfârşitului

5 S ome people were talking about the house of God. They were saying that the stones were beautiful and that many gifts had been given. Jesus said,

În timp ce unii vorbeau despre Templu, că este împodobit cu pietre frumoase şi cu daruri, El a zis:

6 “ As for these things you see, all these stones will be thrown down. Not one will be left on another.”

– Cât despre aceste lucruri pe care le vedeţi, vor veni zile când nu va fi lăsată piatră pe piatră; totul va fi dărâmat.

7 T hey asked Jesus, “Teacher, when will this take place? What are we to look for to show us these things are about to happen?”

Ei L-au întrebat: – Învăţătorule, când se vor întâmpla aceste lucruri şi care va fi semnul când urmează să se întâmple acestea?

8 H e said, “Be careful that no one leads you the wrong way. For many people will come in My name. They will say, ‘I am the Christ.’ The time is near. Do not follow them.

El le-a răspuns: – Vedeţi să nu fiţi duşi în rătăcire! Căci vor veni mulţi în Numele Meu, zicând: „Eu sunt Acela!“ şi „Vremea se apropie!“ Să nu vă duceţi după ei!

9 W hen you hear of wars and fighting in different places, do not be afraid. These things have to happen first, but the end is not yet.”

Când veţi auzi de războaie şi răscoale, să nu vă îngroziţi, căci întâi trebuie să se întâmple aceste lucruri. Dar sfârşitul nu va fi imediat.

10 T hen Jesus said to them, “Nations will have wars with other nations. Countries will fight against countries.

Apoi El le-a zis: – Un neam se va ridica împotriva altui neam şi o împărăţie împotriva altei împărăţii.

11 T he earth will shake and break apart in different places. There will be no food. There will be bad diseases among many people. Very special things will be seen in the sky that will make people much afraid.

Vor fi cutremure mari şi foamete, şi molime în diverse locuri; vor fi manifestări înspăimântătoare şi semne mari din cer.

12 “ But before all this happens, men will take hold of you and make it very hard for you. They will give you over to the places of worship and to the prisons. They will bring you in front of kings and the leaders of the people. This will all be done to you because of Me.

Dar, înainte de toate acestea, vor pune mâinile pe voi şi vă vor persecuta. Vă vor da pe mâna sinagogilor, vă vor arunca în închisori şi vă vor duce înaintea regilor şi înaintea guvernatorilor din pricina Numelui Meu.

13 T his will be a time for you to tell about Me.

Vi se va da astfel prilejul să fiţi mărturie înaintea lor.

14 D o not think about what you will say ahead of time.

Hotărâţi-vă deci în inimile voastre să nu vă pregătiţi mai dinainte apărarea!

15 F or I will give you wisdom in what to say and I will help you say it. Those who are against you will not be able to stop you or say you are wrong.

Căci Eu vă voi da cuvinte şi o înţelepciune căreia nici unul din potrivnicii voştri nu i se va putea opune şi n-o va putea contrazice!

16 “ You will be handed over by your parents and your brothers and your family and your friends. They will kill some of you.

Veţi fi trădaţi chiar şi de părinţi, de fraţi, de rude şi de prieteni, iar pe unii dintre voi vă vor da la moarte.

17 A ll men will hate you because of Me.

Şi veţi fi urâţi de toţi din pricina Numelui Meu.

18 Y et not one hair of your head will be lost.

Dar nici un fir de păr din cap nu vi se va pierde.

19 B ut stay true and your souls will have life. Days of Trouble and Pain and Sorrow

Prin răbdarea voastră vă veţi câştiga sufletele.

20 “ When you see armies all around Jerusalem, know that it will soon be destroyed.

Când veţi vedea Ierusalimul înconjurat de armate, atunci să ştiţi că pustiirea lui este aproape.

21 T hose in the country of Judea must run to the mountains. Those in the city must leave at once. Those in the country must not go into the city.

Atunci cei din Iudeea să fugă în munţi, cei din mijlocul Ierusalimului să iasă afară, iar cei de pe câmpii să nu intre în el,

22 P eople will be punished in these hard days. All things will happen as it is written.

căci acestea sunt zile de răzbunare, ca să se împlinească toate lucrurile care au fost scrise.

23 “ It will be hard for women who will soon be mothers. It will be hard for those feeding babies in those days. It will be very hard for the people in the land and anger will be brought down on them.

Vai de cele ce vor fi însărcinate şi de cele ce vor alăpta în zilele acelea! Căci va fi strâmtorare mare peste pământ şi urgie peste poporul acesta!

24 P eople will be killed by the sword. They will be held in prison by all nations. Jerusalem will be walked over by the people who are not Jews until their time is finished. Jesus Will Come Again in His Shining-Greatness

Vor cădea ucişi de ascuţişul sabiei şi vor fi duşi captivi prin toate neamurile, iar Ierusalimul va fi călcat în picioare de către neamuri, până când se vor împlini vremurile neamurilor.

25 “ There will be special things to look for in the sun and moon and stars. The nations of the earth will be troubled and will not know what to do. They will be troubled at the angry sea and waves.

Vor fi semne în soare, lună şi stele, iar pe pământ va fi suferinţă printre neamuri, încremenite de urletul mării şi al valurilor.

26 T he hearts of men will give up because of being afraid of what is coming on the earth. The powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Oamenii vor leşina de frică în aşteptarea lucrurilor care urmează să vină asupra omenirii, căci puterile cerurilor vor fi clătinate.

27 T hen they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with power and much greatness.

Atunci Îl vor vedea pe Fiul Omului venind pe un nor, cu putere şi mare slavă.

28 W hen these things begin to happen, lift up your heads because you have been bought by the blood of Christ and will soon be free.” The Picture-Story of the Fig Tree

Când vor începe să se întâmple aceste lucruri, îndreptaţi-vă şi ridicaţi-vă capetele, pentru că răscumpărarea voastră se apropie!

29 J esus told them a picture-story. He said, “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees.

Le-a spus apoi o pildă: – Uitaţi-vă la smochin şi la toţi copacii.

30 W hen you see their leaves coming out, you know summer is near.

Când vedeţi că deja înfrunzesc, ştiţi că de acum vara este aproape.

31 I n the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know the holy nation of God is near.

Tot aşa şi voi, când vedeţi că se întâmplă aceste lucruri, să ştiţi că Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este aproape.

32 F or sure, I tell you, that the people of this day will not die before all these things happen.

Adevărat vă spun că nu va trece această generaţie până când nu se vor întâmpla toate aceste lucruri.

33 “ Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away.

Cerul şi pământul vor trece, însă cuvintele Mele nu vor trece!

34 W atch yourselves! Do not let yourselves be loaded down with too much eating and strong drink. Do not be troubled with the cares of this life. If you do, that day will come on you without you knowing it.

Luaţi seama la voi înşivă, ca nu cumva să vi se îngreuneze inimile cu îmbuibare, cu beţii şi cu îngrijorările vieţii şi astfel ziua aceea să vină asupra voastră pe neaşteptate,

35 I t will come on all people over all the earth.

ca o capcană! Căci ea va veni peste toţi locuitorii de pe toată faţa pământului.

36 B e sure you watch. Pray all the time so that you may be able to keep from going through all these things that will happen and be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Vegheaţi tot timpul, rugându-vă să puteţi scăpa de toate aceste lucruri care urmează să se întâmple şi să puteţi sta în picioare înaintea Fiului Omului!

37 E veryday Jesus taught in the house of God. At night He went to the Mount of Olives and stayed there.

În fiecare zi Isus dădea învăţătură în Templu, iar în fiecare seară ieşea şi-Şi petrecea noaptea pe muntele numit „al Măslinilor“.

38 E arly in the morning all the people came to the house of God to hear Him.

Şi tot poporul venea dis-de-dimineaţă la El în Templu, ca să-L asculte.
