1 J esus looked up and saw rich men putting their money into the money box in the house of God.

Isus Şi -a ridicat ochii, şi a văzut pe nişte bogaţi cari îşi aruncau darurile în vistierie.

2 H e saw a poor woman whose husband had died. She put in two very small pieces of money.

A văzut şi pe o văduvă săracă, aruncînd acolo doi bănuţi.

3 H e said, “I tell you the truth, this poor woman has put in more than all of them.

Şi a zis:,, Adevărat vă spun, că această văduvă săracă a aruncat mai mult decît toţi ceilalţi;

4 F or they have put in a little of the money they had no need for. She is very poor and has put in all she had. She has put in what she needed for her own living.” Jesus Tells of the House of God

căci toţi aceştia au aruncat la daruri din prisosul lor; dar ea a aruncat din sărăcia ei, tot ce avea ca să trăiască.``

5 S ome people were talking about the house of God. They were saying that the stones were beautiful and that many gifts had been given. Jesus said,

Pe cînd vorbeau unii despre Templu, că era împodobit cu pietre frumoase şi daruri, Isus a zis:

6 “ As for these things you see, all these stones will be thrown down. Not one will be left on another.”

Vor veni zile cînd, nu va rămînea aici piatră pe piatră, care să nu fie dărîmată.``

7 T hey asked Jesus, “Teacher, when will this take place? What are we to look for to show us these things are about to happen?”

L-au întrebat ei,,, cînd se vor întîmpla toate aceste lucruri? Şi care va fi semnul cînd se vor întîmpla aceste lucruri?``

8 H e said, “Be careful that no one leads you the wrong way. For many people will come in My name. They will say, ‘I am the Christ.’ The time is near. Do not follow them.

Isus a răspuns:,, Băgaţi de seamă să nu vă amăgească cineva. Căci vor veni mulţi în Numele Meu, şi vor zice:, Eu sînt Hristosul`, şi, Vremea se apropie.` Să nu mergeţi după ei.

9 W hen you hear of wars and fighting in different places, do not be afraid. These things have to happen first, but the end is not yet.”

Cînd veţi auzi de războaie şi de răscoale, să nu vă spăimîntaţi; pentrucă întîi trebuie să se întîmple aceste lucruri. Dar sfîrşitul nu va fi îndată.

10 T hen Jesus said to them, “Nations will have wars with other nations. Countries will fight against countries.

Apoi``, le -a zis El,,, un neam se va scula împotriva altui neam, şi o împărăţie împotriva altei împărăţii.

11 T he earth will shake and break apart in different places. There will be no food. There will be bad diseases among many people. Very special things will be seen in the sky that will make people much afraid.

Pe alocurea vor fi mari cutremure de pămînt, foamete şi ciumi; vor fi arătări înspăimîntătoare, şi semne mari în cer.

12 “ But before all this happens, men will take hold of you and make it very hard for you. They will give you over to the places of worship and to the prisons. They will bring you in front of kings and the leaders of the people. This will all be done to you because of Me.

Dar înainte de toate acestea, vor pune mînile pe voi, şi vă vor prigoni: vă vor da pe mîna sinagogelor, vă vor arunca în temniţe, vă vor tîrî înaintea împăraţilor şi înaintea dregătorilor, din pricina Numelui Meu.

13 T his will be a time for you to tell about Me.

Aceste lucruri vi se vor întîmpla ca să fiţi mărturie.

14 D o not think about what you will say ahead of time.

Ţineţi bine minte, să nu vă gîndiţi mai dinainte ce veţi răspunde;

15 F or I will give you wisdom in what to say and I will help you say it. Those who are against you will not be able to stop you or say you are wrong.

căci vă voi da o gură şi o înţelepciune, căreia nu -i vor putea răspunde, nici sta împotrivă toţi protivnicii voştri.

16 “ You will be handed over by your parents and your brothers and your family and your friends. They will kill some of you.

Veţi fi daţi în mînile lor pînă şi de părinţii, fraţii, rudele şi prietenii voştri; şi vor omorî pe mulţi dintre voi.

17 A ll men will hate you because of Me.

Veţi fi urîţi de toţi din pricina Numelui Meu.

18 Y et not one hair of your head will be lost.

Dar nici un păr din cap nu vi se va pierde.

19 B ut stay true and your souls will have life. Days of Trouble and Pain and Sorrow

Prin răbdarea voastră, vă veţi cîştiga sufletele voastre.

20 “ When you see armies all around Jerusalem, know that it will soon be destroyed.

Cînd veţi vedea Ierusalimul înconjurat de oşti, să ştiţi că atunci pustiirea lui este aproape.

21 T hose in the country of Judea must run to the mountains. Those in the city must leave at once. Those in the country must not go into the city.

Atunci, cei din Iudea să fugă la munţi, cei din mijlocul Ierusalimului să iasă afară din el, şi cei de prin ogoare să nu intre în el.

22 P eople will be punished in these hard days. All things will happen as it is written.

Căci zilele acelea vor fi zile de răzbunare, ca să se împlinească tot ce este scris.

23 “ It will be hard for women who will soon be mothers. It will be hard for those feeding babies in those days. It will be very hard for the people in the land and anger will be brought down on them.

Vai de femeile cari vor fi însărcinate, şi de cele ce vor da ţîţă în acele zile! Pentrucă va fi o strîmtorare mare în ţară, şi mînie împotriva norodului acestuia.

24 P eople will be killed by the sword. They will be held in prison by all nations. Jerusalem will be walked over by the people who are not Jews until their time is finished. Jesus Will Come Again in His Shining-Greatness

Vor cădea supt ascuţişul săbiei, vor fi luaţi robi printre toate neamurile; şi Ierusalimul va fi călcat în picioare de neamuri, pînă se vor împlini vremurile neamurilor.

25 “ There will be special things to look for in the sun and moon and stars. The nations of the earth will be troubled and will not know what to do. They will be troubled at the angry sea and waves.

Vor fi semne în soare, în lună şi în stele. Şi pe pămînt va fi strîmtorare printre neamuri, cari nu vor şti ce să facă la auzul urletului mării şi al valurilor;

26 T he hearts of men will give up because of being afraid of what is coming on the earth. The powers of the heavens will be shaken.

oamenii îşi vor da sufletul de groază, în aşteptarea lucrurilor cari se vor întîmpla pe pămînt; căci puterile cerurilor vor fi clătinate.

27 T hen they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with power and much greatness.

Atunci vor vedea pe Fiul omului venind pe un nor cu putere şi slavă mare.

28 W hen these things begin to happen, lift up your heads because you have been bought by the blood of Christ and will soon be free.” The Picture-Story of the Fig Tree

Cînd vor începe să se întîmple aceste lucruri, să vă uitaţi în sus, şi să vă ridicaţi capetele, pentru că izbăvirea voastră se apropie.``

29 J esus told them a picture-story. He said, “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees.

Şi le -a spus o pildă:,, Vedeţi smochinul şi toţi copacii.

30 W hen you see their leaves coming out, you know summer is near.

Cînd înfrunzesc, şi -i vedeţi, voi singuri cunoaşteţi că de acum vara este aproape.

31 I n the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know the holy nation of God is near.

Tot aşa, cînd veţi vedea întîmplîndu-se aceste lucruri, să ştiţi că Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este aproape.

32 F or sure, I tell you, that the people of this day will not die before all these things happen.

Adevărat vă spun că nu va trece neamul acesta, pînă cînd se vor împlini toate aceste lucruri.

33 “ Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away.

Cerul şi pămîntul vor trece, dar cuvintele Mele nu vor trece.

34 W atch yourselves! Do not let yourselves be loaded down with too much eating and strong drink. Do not be troubled with the cares of this life. If you do, that day will come on you without you knowing it.

Luaţi seama la voi înşivă, ca nu cumva să vi se îngreuieze inimile cu îmbuibare de mîncare şi băutură, şi cu îngrijorările vieţii acesteia, şi astfel ziua aceea să vină fără veste asupra voastră.

35 I t will come on all people over all the earth.

Căci ziua aceea va veni ca un laţ peste toţi ceice locuiesc pe toată faţa pămîntului.

36 B e sure you watch. Pray all the time so that you may be able to keep from going through all these things that will happen and be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Vegheaţi dar în tot timpul, şi rugaţi-vă, ca să aveţi putere să scăpaţi de toate lucrurile acestea, cari se vor întîmpla, şi să staţi în picioare înaintea Fiului omului.``

37 E veryday Jesus taught in the house of God. At night He went to the Mount of Olives and stayed there.

Ziua, Isus învăţa pe norod în Templu, iar noaptea Se ducea de o petrecea în muntele care se cheamă muntele Măslinilor.

38 E arly in the morning all the people came to the house of God to hear Him.

Şi tot norodul venea dis de dimineaţă la El în Templu, ca să -L asculte.
