1 T he Lord says to my Lord, “Sit at My right side, for those who hate You will be a place to rest Your feet.”

(Un psalm al lui David.) Domnul a zis Domnului meu:,,Şezi la dreapta Mea, pînă voi pune pe vrăjmaşii Tăi supt picioarele Tale.`` -

2 T he Lord will send out Your strength from Zion, saying, “Rule in front of those who hate You.”

Domnul va întinde din Sion toiagul de cîrmuire al puterii Tale, zicînd:,, Stăpîneşte în mijlocul vrăjmaşilor Tăi!``

3 Y our people will be willing to help in the day of Your power. Your young men will be dressed in holy clothes. They will come to You like water on the grass in the early morning.

Poporul Tău este plin de înflăcărare, cînd Îţi aduni oştirea; cu podoabe sfinte, ca din sînul zorilor, vine tineretul Tău la Tine, ca roua.

4 T he Lord has sworn and will not change His mind: “You are a Religious Leader forever, in the same way as Melchizedek.”

Domnul a jurat, şi nu -I va părea rău:,, Tu eşti preot în veac, în felul lui Melhisedec.`` -

5 T he Lord is at Your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of His anger.

Domnul, dela dreapta Ta, zdrobeşte pe împăraţi în ziua mîniei Lui.

6 H e will say who is guilty or not among the nations. He will fill them with dead bodies. He will crush the leaders of many lands.

El face dreptate printre neamuri: totul este plin de trupuri moarte; El zdrobeşte capete pe toată întinderea ţării.

7 H e will drink from the river on the way. And so He will lift up His head.

El bea din pîrîu în timpul mersului: de aceea Îşi înalţă capul.
