1 T hen he brought me to the outside open space toward the north. He brought me to the rooms which were on the other side of the open space and the building to the north.

Apoi m'a scos şi m'a dus în curtea deafară din spre miază noapte, şi m'a dus în odăile din faţa locului gol şi din faţa clădirii la miază noapte.

2 T he building whose door faced north was as long as 100 cubits and as wide as fifty cubits.

Faţa unde se afla uşa de miază noapte, avea o lungime de o sută de coţi; şi lăţimea era de cincizeci de coţi.

3 O ver from the place in the inner open space which was as wide as twenty cubits, and over from the stone floor in the outer open space, was a walkway on the three floors, one above the other.

În dreptul celor douăzeci de coţi ai curţii dinlăuntru, şi în dreptul caldarîmului curţii de afară, se aflau pridvoare lîngă pridvoare în catul al treilea.

4 I n front of the rooms was an inside walkway as wide as ten cubits and as long as 100 cubits. Their doors were on the north.

Pe dinaintea odăilor, era un loc de trecere lat de zece coţi, şi un drum de un cot; uşile lor erau spre miază noapte.

5 T he upper rooms were smaller because the walkways took more away from them than from the rooms on the first and second floors of the building.

Odăile de sus erau mai strîmte decît cele de jos şi decît cele dela mijlocul clădirii, pentrucă le mai luau din loc şi pridvoarele.

6 F or the rooms on all three floors had no pillars like the other buildings on the grounds. So the upper rooms were smaller than the ones on the first and second floors.

Erau trei caturi, dar n'aveau stîlpi ca stîlpii curţilor; de aceea, începînd de jos, odăile de sus erau mai strîmte decît cele de jos şi cele dela mijloc.

7 T here was an outside wall built beside the rooms toward the outer open space. It was in front of the rooms for fifty cubits.

Zidul de afară, care mergea alături cu odăile, dinspre curtea de afară, în faţa odăilor, avea o lungime de cincizeci de coţi;

8 T he rooms next to the outer open space were as long as fifty cubits, and those over from the Lord’s house were as long as 100 cubits.

căci lungimea odăilor din spre curtea de afară era de cincizeci de coţi. Dar faţa Templului avea o sută de coţi.

9 B elow these rooms was a door on the east side, as one goes into them from the outer open space.

Dedesubtul acestor odăi era intrarea dela răsărit, cum veneai din curtea de afară.

10 T here were rooms in the width of the wall of the open space toward the east, over from the other open space and the other building.

Mai erau nişte odăi de grosimea zidului curţii dinspre răsărit, în dreptul locului gol şi în dreptul clădirii.

11 T hese rooms had a walkway in front of them, and they were like the rooms on the north. They had the same length and width. The ways out of them were the same, and the doors were made the same way.

În faţa lor, era un loc de trecere, ca şi înaintea odăilor dinspre miază noapte, de aceeaş lungime şi lăţime; ieşirile, întocmirea şi uşile lor erau la fel.

12 A nd like the doors of the rooms on the south side, there was a door at the beginning of the walkway in front of the wall toward the east, as one goes into them.

Tot aşa era şi cu uşile odăilor dinspre miazăzi. Era o uşă la capul locului de trecere, care se afla drept înaintea zidului dinspre răsărit, pe unde intrai.

13 T hen he said to me, “The north rooms and the south rooms, over from the other open space, are the holy rooms where the religious leaders who go near the Lord eat the most holy things. There they will lay the most holy things, the grain gift, the sin gift, and the guilt gift. For the place is holy.

El mi -a zis:,, Odăile dela miazănoapte şi odăile de la miazăzi, cari sînt în faţa locului gol, sînt odăile sfinte, unde vor mînca lucrurile prea sfinte preoţii, cari se apropie de Domnul; în ele vor pune lucrurile prea sfinte, darurile de mîncare, vitele aduse ca jertfe de ispăşire şi de vină; căci locul acesta este sfînt.

14 W hen the religious leaders go in, they are not to go out into the outer open space from the holy place without leaving behind the clothes they wear while they do the Lord’s work, for these are holy. They must put on other clothes before they go near the places that are for the people.”

Cînd vor intra preoţii, nu vor ieşi din locul sfînt ca să se ducă în curtea de afară, ci îşi vor lăsa acolo hainele cu cari fac slujba, căci hainele acestea sînt sfinte; se vor îmbrăca în alte haine ca să se apropie de curtea care este pentru popor.``

15 W hen he had finished showing me the lengths and widths of the inner house, he brought me out through the east gate. And he showed me the lengths of all the open space around the house.

După ce a isprăvit de măsurat casa dinlăuntru, m'a scos pe poarta dinspre răsărit, şi a măsurat -o pe partea de afară de jur împrejur.

16 H e showed me with his stick that the east side was as long as 500 sticks.

A măsurat partea de răsărit cu prăjina de măsurat, şi de jur împrejur a găsit cinci sute de prăjini.

17 T he north side was as long as 500 sticks.

A măsurat partea de miazănoapte cu prăjina de măsurat, şi a găsit de jur împrejur cinci sute de prăjini.

18 T he south side was as long as 500 sticks.

A măsurat partea de miazăzi cu prăjina de măsurat, şi a găsit cinci sute de prăjini.

19 A nd the west side was as long as 500 sticks.

S'a întors apoi spre apus, şi a măsurat cinci sute de prăjini cu prăjina de măsurat.

20 H e showed me the length of the four sides. It had a wall all around it, as long as 500 sticks and as wide as 500 sticks. This wall divided what was holy from what was not.

A măsurat astfel în cele patru laturi zidul de jur împrejurul casei; lungimea era de cinci sute de prăjini, şi lăţimea de cinci sute de prăjini; zidul acesta despărţea locul sfînt de cel nesfînt.
