5 T he upper rooms were smaller because the walkways took more away from them than from the rooms on the first and second floors of the building.

6 F or the rooms on all three floors had no pillars like the other buildings on the grounds. So the upper rooms were smaller than the ones on the first and second floors.

8 T he rooms next to the outer open space were as long as fifty cubits, and those over from the Lord’s house were as long as 100 cubits.

Бо довжина тих кімнат, що в зовнішнього подвір'я, п'ятдесят ліктів, і ось на переді храму сто ліктів.

9 B elow these rooms was a door on the east side, as one goes into them from the outer open space.

А під тими кімнатами хід від сходу, коли входити до них з зовнішнього подвір'я.

10 T here were rooms in the width of the wall of the open space toward the east, over from the other open space and the other building.

По ширині муру подвір'я в напрямі на схід до переду вільного місця й до переду будівлі кімнати.

11 T hese rooms had a walkway in front of them, and they were like the rooms on the north. They had the same length and width. The ways out of them were the same, and the doors were made the same way.

А дорога перед ними як вид кімнат, що в напрямі на північ; яка довжина, така ширина їхня, а всі виходи були за їхніми способами та за їхніми виходами.

12 A nd like the doors of the rooms on the south side, there was a door at the beginning of the walkway in front of the wall toward the east, as one goes into them.

Коли священики ввійдуть, то не сміють виходити зо святині до зовнішнього подвір'я, і мають там складати свої шати, в яких служать, бо вони святощі. І зодягнуть вони інші шати, і тоді тільки можуть зближатися до того, що належить народові.

15 W hen he had finished showing me the lengths and widths of the inner house, he brought me out through the east gate. And he showed me the lengths of all the open space around the house.

І скінчив він вимірювання внутрішнього храму, і випровадив мене в напрямі брами, що перед її в напрямі на схід, і зміряв те кругом навколо.

16 H e showed me with his stick that the east side was as long as 500 sticks.

20 H e showed me the length of the four sides. It had a wall all around it, as long as 500 sticks and as wide as 500 sticks. This wall divided what was holy from what was not.

На чотири сторони відміряв те. Мало воно мур кругом навколо, завдовжки п'ять сотень, і завширшки п'ять сотень, щоб відділити між святим та звичайним.
