1 T he Lord says, “Hold on to what is right and fair. Do what is right and good. My saving power will soon come, and I will show what is right.

Так говорить Господь: Бережіть правосуддя й чиніть справедливість, незабаром бо прийде спасіння Моє, і появиться правда Моя.

2 H ow happy is the man who does this, and the son of man who takes hold of it! How happy is he who keeps the Day of Rest holy, and keeps his hand from doing wrong.”

Блаженна людина, що робить таке, і син людський, що міцно тримається цього, що хоронить суботу, щоб її не безчестити, та береже свою руку, щоб жодного зла не вчинити!

3 L et not the man from a strange land who has joined the Lord say, “For sure the Lord will keep me away from His people.” Let not the man who had been made so that he could not have children say, “See, I am a dry tree.”

І нехай не повість чужинець, який прилучився до Господа, кажучи: Насправді мене відділив від народу Свого Господь, і скопець хай не скаже: Таж я сухе дерево!

4 T o these the Lord says, “If these servants keep My Days of Rest and choose what pleases Me, and hold on to My agreement,

Бо так каже Господь про скопців, що суботи Мої бережуть, і вибирають завгодне Мені, і що тримаються міцно Мого заповіту:

5 I will give them something in My house and within My walls to be remembered. I will give them a name better than that of sons and daughters, a name that will be forever and never be cut off.

Я їм дам у Своїм домі та в мурах Своїх місце і ймення, що краще воно за синів та дочок, Я дам йому вічне ім'я, яке не понищиться!

6 “ And those from a strange land who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him and to love His name, to be His servants, and keep the Day of Rest holy, and keep My agreement,

А тих чужинців, що пристали до Господа, щоб служити Йому та любити Господнє Ім'я, щоб бути Йому за рабів, усіх, хто хоронить суботу, щоб її не збезчестити, і тих, що тримаються міцно Мого заповіту,

7 e ven those I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and gifts will be received on My altar. For My house will be called a house of prayer for all people.”

їх спроваджу на гору святую Мою та потішу їх в домі молитви Моєї! Цілопалення їхні та їхні жертви будуть Мені до вподоби на Моїм жертівнику, бо Мій дім буде названий домом молитви для всіх народів!

8 T he Lord God Who gathers the people of Israel from other lands says, “I will gather yet others to them, besides those already gathered.” Israel’s Sinful Leaders

Слово Господа Бога, що збирає вигнанців Ізраїля: Я ще позбираю до нього, до його зібраних!

9 A ll you animals of the field, all you animals among the trees, come to eat.

Польова вся звірино, прибудьте спожити, також лісова вся звірино!

10 T he men of Israel who keep watch are blind to trouble. They know very little. They are all dogs that cannot make noise. They dream and lie down, and love to sleep.

Його вартівники всі сліпі, не знають нічого, всі вони пси німі, які гавкати не можуть, мрійники, лежні, що люблять дрімати!

11 T he dogs are hungry and never have enough. The shepherds have no understanding. They have all turned to their own way, each one wanting to get things for himself that are not his.

І це пси ненажери, що не знають насичення, і це пастирі ті, що не вміють уважати: усі вони ходять своєю дорогою, кожен з свого кінця до своєї здобичі...

12 “ Come,” they say, “let us get wine. Let us drink much strong drink. And tomorrow will be even better than today.”

Прийдіть но, говорять, візьму я вина, та напою п'янкого нажлуктимось, і буде і цей день, і завтрішній день далеко щедріший!...
