2 S tir up Your power in front of Ephraim and Benjamin and Manassah, and come to save us!

(80-3) перед обличчям Єфрема, і Веніямина, і Манасії! Пробуди Свою силу, і прийди, щоб спасти нас!

3 O God, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

(80-4) Боже, приверни нас, і хай засяє обличчя Твоє, й ми спасемось!

4 O Lord God of all, how long will You be angry with the prayers of Your people?

(80-5) Господи, Боже Саваоте, доки будеш Ти гніватися на молитву народу Свого?

5 Y ou have fed them with the bread of tears. And You have made them drink a big amount of tears.

(80-6) Ти вчинив був, що їли вони слізний хліб, і їх напоїв Ти сльозами великої міри...

6 Y ou have made us an object of arguing to our neighbors. Those who hate us laugh among themselves.

(80-7) Ти нас положив суперечкою нашим сусідам, і насміхаються з нас неприятелі наші...

7 O God of all, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

(80-8) Боже Саваоте, приверни нас, і хай засяє обличчя Твоє, й ми спасемось!

8 Y ou brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and You planted it.

(80-9) Виноградину Ти переніс із Єгипту, Ти вигнав народи й її посадив,

9 Y ou cleared the land for it. And its roots went deep and filled the land.

(80-10) Ти випорожнив перед нею, і закоренила коріння своє, й переповнила край,

10 T he mountains were covered with its shadow. And the tall trees were covered with its branches.

(80-11) гори покрилися тінню її, а віття її Божі кедри,

11 I t sent out its branches to the sea, and its new branches to the River.

(80-12) аж до моря галузки її посилаєш, а парості її до ріки!

12 W hy have You broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its fruit?

(80-13) Але нащо вилім зробив Ти в горожі її, і всі нищать її, хто проходить дорогою?

13 T he wild pig from among the trees eats it away. And whatever moves in the field eats from it.

(80-14) Гризе її вепр лісовий, і звірина польова виїдає її!

14 O God of all, we beg You to return. Look down from heaven and see. Take care of this vine.

(80-15) Боже Саваоте, вернися ж, споглянь із небес і побач, і відвідай цього виноградника,

15 T ake care of the root Your right hand has planted, and the branch that You have raised up for Yourself.

(80-16) і охорони його, якого насадила правиця Твоя, і галузку, яку Ти для Себе зміцнив!

16 T hey have burned it with fire. It is cut down. May they be lost when they hear Your strong words.

(80-17) В огні виноградина спалена, відтята, гинуть від свару обличчя Твого,

17 L et Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, the son of man you have made strong for Yourself.

(80-18) нехай буде рука Твоя над мужем Твоєї правиці, на людському сині, якого зміцнив Ти Собі!

18 T hen we will not turn away from You. Give us new life again, and we will call on Your name.

(80-19) А ми не відступимо від Тебе, Ти нас оживиш, і ми будемо ім'я Твоє кликати!

19 O Lord God of all, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

(80-20) Господи, Боже Саваоте, приверни нас, і хай засяє обличчя Твоє, й ми спасемось!
