і Хацар-Шуал, і Бала, і Ецем,

4 E ltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

і Елтолад, і Бетул, і Хорма,

5 Z iklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,

і Ціклаґ, і Бет-Гаммаркавот, і Хацар-Суса,

6 B eth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, thirteen cities with the towns around them.

і Бет-Леваот, і Шарухен, тринадцять міст та їхні оселі.

7 T here were Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, four cities with their towns.

Аїн, Ріммон, і Етер, і Ашан, чотири місті та їхні оселі.

8 A nd they had all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, also known as Ramah of the Negev. This was the land given to the families of the people of Simeon.

А всі оселі, що навколо тих міст аж до Баалат-Беер-Рамат-Неґеву, це спадок племени Симеонових синів за їхніми родами.

9 T he land of the people of Simeon was taken from the land of the people of Judah. For the share of the people of Judah was too large for them. So the people of Simeon received a share of land in the center of Judah’s land.

З наділу Юдиних синів спадок синів Симеонових, бо наділ Юдиних синів був численніший від них. І посіли Симеонові сини в середині їхнього спадку.

10 T he third name drawn was for the families of the people of Zebulun. The share of their land was as far as Sarid.

А третій жеребок вийшов Завулоновим синам за їхніми родами, і була границя їхнього спадку аж до Саріду.

11 T he side of their land went from there west to Marealah, touched Dabbesheth, and on to the river by Jokneam.

І підіймається їхня границя до Яму та Мар'али, і стикається з Даббешетом, і стикається з потоком, що навпроти Йокнеаму,

12 I t turned east from Sarid toward the sunrise as far as the land of Chisloth-tabor, then on to Daberath and up to Japhia.

і вертається з Саріду на схід, до сходу сонця, на границю Кіслот-Фавору, і виходить до Доврату, і підіймається до Яфія.

13 F rom there it went east toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, Eth-kazin, and on to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.

А звідти переходить на схід, на схід до Ґат-Хеферу, Ет-Каціну, до Ріммон-Гамметоару, до Неї.

14 T hen the side of their land turned north to Hannathon, and ended at the valley of Iphtahel.

І повертається його границя з півночі Ханнатону, і закінчується при Ґе-Їфтах-Елі.

15 I n their land were Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. In all there were twelve cities with the towns around them.

17 T he fourth name drawn was for the families of the people of Issachar.

Четвертий жеребок вийшов Іссахарові, Іссахаровим синам за їхніми родами.

18 T heir land spread to Jezreel. In it were Chesulloth, Shunem,

І була їхня границя: їзреел, і Кесуллот, і Шунем,

19 H apharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

і Хафараїм, і Шіон, і Анахарат,

20 R abbith, Kishion, Ebez,

і Раббіт, і Кішйон, Евес,

21 R emeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Bethpazzez.

22 T heir land spread to Tabor, Shahazumah, Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan, with sixteen cities and their towns.

І дотикається та границя до Фавору, і Шахаціми, і Бет-Шемету, і їхня границя закінчується при Йордані, шістнадцять міст та їхні оселі.

23 T his is what was given to the families of the people of Issachar, the cities with the towns around them.

Оце спадок племени Іссахарових синів за їхніми родами, міста та їхні оселі.

24 T he fifth name drawn was for the families of the people of Asher.

А п'ятий жеребок вийшов племені Асирових синів за їхніми родами.

25 I n their land were Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

І була їхня границя: Хелкат, і Халі, і Бетен, і Ахшат,

26 A llammelech, Amad, and Mishal. It spread west to Carmel and Shihor-libnath.

і Алламмелех, і Ам'ад, і Міш'ал, і дотикається Кармелю на захід та Шіхор-Лівнату,

27 I t turned east to Beth-dagon and to Zebulun along the valley of Iphtahel north to Bethemek and Neiel. Then it went on north to Cabul,

і вертається на схід сонця до Бет-Даґону, і дотикається Завулона та Ґе-Їфтах-Елу, на північ Бет-Гаемеку та Ніелу, і виходить до Кавулу зліва.

28 E bron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as the big city of Sidon.

І Еврон, і Рехов, і Хаммон, і Кана аж до Сидону Великого.

29 F rom there the side of their land turned toward Ramah and then to the strong city of Tyre, turned again to Hosah, and ended at the sea near Achzib,

І вертається та границя до Рами та аж до міста Мівцар-Цору, і вертається границя до Хоси, і закінчується при заході від околиці Ахзіву,

30 U mmah, Aphek and Rehob. There were twenty-two cities with the towns around them.

і Умма, і Афек, і Рехов, двадцять і двоє міст та їхні оселі.

31 T his is what was given to the families of the people of Asher, these cities with the towns around them.

Оце спадок племени Асирових синів за їхніми родами, ті міста та їхні оселі.

32 T he sixth name drawn was for the people of Naphtali, for the families of the people of Naphtali.

Синам Нефталимовим вийшов шостий жеребок, для синів Нефталимових за їхніми родами.

33 T heir land spread from Heleph, from the big tree in Zaanannim. It went through Adami-nekeb and Jabneel as far as Lakkum. And it ended at the Jordan.

І була їхня границя: від Хелефу, від Елону при Цаананнімі, і Адамі Ганнекев, і Явнеїл аж до Лаккуму, і кінчалася вона при Йордані.

34 T he side of their land turned from there west to Aznoth-tabor, and went on to Hukkok. It spread to Zebulun in the south, Asher in the west, and to Judah at the Jordan in the east.

І повертається та границя на захід до Ашнот-Фавору, і виходить звідти до Хуккоку та дотикається Завулона з полудня, а Асира дотикається з заходу, а Юди при Йордані на схід сонця.

35 T he strong cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

А міста твердинні: Ціддім, Цер, і Хаммат, Раккат і Кіннерет,

36 A damah, Ramah, Hazor,

і Адама, і Рама, І Хацор,

37 K edesh, Edrei, En-hazor,

і Кедеш, і Едреї, і Ен-Хасор,

38 Y iron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh. There were nineteen cities with their towns.

39 T his is what was given to the families of the people of Naphtali, the cities with their towns.

40 T he seventh name drawn was for the families of the people of Dan.

А племені Данових синів за їхніми родами вийшов сьомий жеребок.

41 I n their land were Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,

І була границя їхнього насліддя: Цор'а, і Ештаол, і Ір-Шемеш,

42 S haalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,

і Шаалаббін, і Айялон, і Їтла,

43 E lon, Timnah, Ekron,

і Елон, і Тімната, і Екрон,

44 E ltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

і Елтеке, і Ґіббетон, і Баалат,

45 J ehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon,

і Єгуд, і Бене-Берак, і Ґат-Ріммон,

46 M e-jarkon and Rakkon, with the land near Joppa.

і Ме-Яркон, і Раккон із границею навпроти Яфи.

47 T he people of Dan needed more land. So they went up and fought with Leshem and took it with the sword. They took it for themselves and lived in it. And they gave it the name Leshem Dan after the name of Dan their father.

І вийшла границя Данових синів від них. А Данові сини пішли й воювали з Лешемом, і здобули його, і побили вістрям меча, і посіли його, та й осілися в ньому. І вони назвали Лешему ім'я: Дан, як ім'я їхнього батька Дана.

48 T his is what was given to the families of the people of Dan, these cities with their towns.

Оце спадок племени Данових синів за їхніми родами, ті міста та їхні оселі.

49 W hen they finished dividing the land and giving to each family group their share, then the people of Israel gave some land among them to Joshua the son of Nun.

І скінчили вони посідати Край згідно з його границями. І дали Ізраїлеві сини спадок Ісусові, синові Навиновому, посеред себе.

50 A s the Lord had told them, they gave him the city he asked for. They gave him Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. So he built the city and lived in it.

На Господній наказ дали йому те місто, яке він жадав: Тімнат-Серах на Єфремовій горі. І збудував він місто, та й осівся в ньому.

51 T his is the land which was given by Eleazar the religious leader, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the houses of the families of the people of Israel. It was given by drawing names in Shiloh before the Lord at the door of the meeting tent. So they finished dividing the land.

Оце той спадок, що священик Елеазар і Ісус, син Навинів, та голови домів батьків давали племенам Ізраїлевих синів жеребком у Шіло перед Господнім лицем при вході до скинії заповіту. І покінчили вони ділити Край.
