1 N ow that we have been made right with God by putting our trust in Him, we have peace with Him. It is because of what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us.

Deci, fiindcă sîntem socotiţi neprihăniţi, prin credinţă, avem (Sau: Să avem.) pace cu Dumnezeu, prin Domnul nostru Isus Hristos.

2 B y putting our trust in God, He has given us His loving-favor and has received us. We are happy for the hope we have of sharing the shining-greatness of God.

Lui Îi datorăm faptul că, prin credinţă, am intrat în această stare de har, în care sîntem; şi ne bucurăm în nădejdea slavei lui Dumnezeu.

3 W e are glad for our troubles also. We know that troubles help us learn not to give up.

Ba mai mult, ne bucurăm chiar şi în necazurile noastre; căci ştim că necazul aduce răbdare,

4 W hen we have learned not to give up, it shows we have stood the test. When we have stood the test, it gives us hope.

răbdarea aduce biruinţă în încercare, iar biruinţa aceasta aduce nădejdea.

5 H ope never makes us ashamed because the love of God has come into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who was given to us.

Însă nădejdea aceasta nu înşală, pentrucă dragostea lui Dumnezeu a fost turnată în inimile noastre prin Duhul Sfînt, care ne -a fost dat.

6 W e were weak and could not help ourselves. Then Christ came at the right time and gave His life for all sinners.

Căci, pe cînd eram noi încă fără putere, Hristos, la vremea cuvenită a murit pentru cei nelegiuiţi.

7 N o one is willing to die for another person, but for a good man someone might be willing to die.

Pentru un om neprihănit cu greu ar muri cineva; dar pentru binefăcătorul lui, poate că s'ar găsi cineva să moară.

8 B ut God showed His love to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Dar Dumnezeu Îşi arată dragostea faţă de noi prin faptul că, pe cînd eram noi încă păcătoşi, Hristos a murit pentru noi.

9 N ow that we have been saved from the punishment of sin by the blood of Christ, He will save us from God’s anger also.

Deci, cu atît mai mult acum, cînd sîntem socotiţi neprihăniţi, prin sîngele Lui, vom fi mîntuiţi prin El de mînia lui Dumnezeu.

10 W e hated God. But we were saved from the punishment of sin by the death of Christ. He has brought us back to God and we will be saved by His life.

Căci, dacă atunci cînd eram vrăjmaşi, am fost împăcaţi cu Dumnezeu, prin moartea Fiului Său, cu mult mai mult acum, cînd sîntem împăcaţi cu El, vom fi mîntuiţi prin viaţa Lui.

11 N ot only that, we give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have been brought back to God.

Şi nu numai atît, dar ne şi bucurăm în Dumnezeu, prin Domnul nostru Isus Hristos, prin care am căpătat împăcarea.

12 T his is what happened: Sin came into the world by one man, Adam. Sin brought death with it. Death spread to all men because all have sinned.

De aceea, după cum printr'un singur om a intrat păcatul în lume, şi prin păcat a intrat moartea, şi astfel moartea a trecut asupra tuturor oamenilor, din pricină că toţi au păcătuit...

13 S in was in the world before the Law was given. But sin is not held against a person when there is no Law.

(Căci înainte de Lege păcatul era în lume. Dar păcatul nu este ţinut în seamă cîtă vreme nu este o lege.

14 A nd yet death had power over men from the time of Adam until the time of Moses. Even the power of death was over those who had not sinned in the same way Adam sinned. Adam was like the One Who was to come.

Totuş moartea a domnit, dela Adam pînă la Moise, chiar peste ceice nu păcătuiseră printr'o călcare de lege asemănătoare cu a lui Adam, care este o icoană preînchipuitoare a Celuice avea să vină.

15 G od’s free gift is not like the sin of Adam. Many people died because of the sin of this one man, Adam. But the loving-favor of God came to many people also. This gift came also by one Man Jesus Christ, God’s Son.

Dar cu darul fără plată nu este ca şi cu greşala; căci, dacă prin greşala unuia singur, cei mulţi au fost loviţi cu moartea, apoi cu mult mai mult harul lui Dumnezeu şi darul, pe care ni l -a făcut harul acesta într'un singur om, adică în Isus Hristos, s'au dat din belşug celor mulţi.

16 T he free gift of God is not like Adam’s sin. God told Adam he was guilty because of his sin and through this one came sin and guilt. But the free gift makes men right with God. Through One, Christ, men’s sins are forgiven.

Şi darul fără plată nu vine ca printr'acel unul care a păcătuit; căci judecata venită dela unul, a adus osînda; dar darul fără plată venit în urma multor greşeli a adus o hotărîre de iertare.

17 T he power of death was over all men because of the sin of one man, Adam. But many people will receive His loving-favor and the gift of being made right with God. They will have power in life by Jesus Christ.

Dacă deci, prin greşala unuia singur, moartea a domnit prin el singur, cu mult mai mult ceice primesc, în toată plinătatea, harul şi darul neprihănirii, vor domni în viaţă prin acel unul singur, care este Isus Hristos!)

18 T hrough Adam’s sin, death and hell came to all men. But another Man, Christ, by His right act makes men free and gives them life.

Astfel dar, după cum printr'o singură greşală, a venit o osîndă, care a lovit pe toţi oamenii, tot aşa, printr'o singură hotărîre de iertare a venit pentru toţi oamenii o hotărîre de neprihănire care dă viaţa.

19 A dam did not obey God, and many people become sinners through him. Christ obeyed God and makes many people right with Himself.

Căci, după cum prin neascultarea unui singur om, cei mulţi au fost făcuţi păcătoşi, tot aşa, prin ascultarea unui singur om, cei mulţi vor fi făcuţi neprihăniţi.

20 S in spread when the Law was given. But where sin spread, God’s loving-favor spread all the more.

Ba încă şi Legea a venit pentruca să se înmulţească greşala; dar unde s'a înmulţit păcatul, acolo harul s'a înmulţit şi mai mult;

21 S in had power that ended in death. Now, God’s loving-favor has power to make men right with Himself. It gives life that lasts forever. Our Lord Jesus Christ did this for us.

pentruca, după cum păcatul a stăpînit dînd moartea, tot aşa şi harul să stăpînească dînd neprihănirea, ca să dea viaţa vecinică, prin Isus Hristos, Domnul nostru.
