1 O Lord, stand by me for I have lived my life without blame. I have trusted in the Lord without changing.

Doamne, dezvinovăţeşte-mă, căci umblu în integritate! Mă încred în Domnul fără şovăire.

2 T est me and try me, O Lord. Test my mind and my heart.

Cercetează-mă, Doamne, încearcă-mă, curăţeşte-mi adâncul fiinţei şi inima!

3 F or Your loving-kindness is always in front of my eyes. And I have walked in Your truth.

Îndurarea Ta este mereu înaintea ochilor mei şi umblu neîncetat în adevărul Tău.

4 I do not sit with men who lie about the truth. I would not be seen with those who pretend to be someone they are not.

Nu mă aşez laolaltă cu bărbaţii înşelători, şi nu mă întovărăşesc cu cei vicleni.

5 I hate the meeting of sinners, and will not sit with the sinful.

Urăsc adunarea răufăcătorilor şi nu mă aşez laolaltă cu cei răi.

6 I will wash my hands of any guilt. And I will go around Your altar, O Lord.

Îmi spăl mâinile în nevinovăţie şi aşa înconjor altarul Tău, Doamne,

7 I will speak with the voice of thanks, and tell of all Your great works.

ca să fac să răsune mulţumirea şi să povestesc toate minunile Tale.

8 O Lord, I love the house where You live, the place where Your shining-greatness lives.

Doamne, eu iubesc Casa în care locuieşti şi locul unde sălăşluieşte slava Ta!

9 D o not take my soul away with sinners, or my life with men who kill other people.

Nu-mi lua sufletul împreună cu cei păcătoşi, nici viaţa – împreună cu vărsătorii de sânge,

10 S inful plans are in their hands. And their right hand is full of pay for hurting others.

pe ale căror mâini este nelegiuire şi a căror dreaptă este plină de mită.

11 B ut as for me, I will live a life without blame. Make me free, and show me loving-kindness.

Cât despre mine, eu umblu în integritate! Izbăveşte-mă şi îndură-te de mine!

12 M y foot stands on a good place. I will give honor to the Lord, in the meeting of worship.

Piciorul meu stă pe loc drept. Voi binecuvânta pe Domnul în adunări!
