1 J udge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

Doamne, dezvinovăţeşte-mă, căci umblu în integritate! Mă încred în Domnul fără şovăire.

2 P rove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

Cercetează-mă, Doamne, încearcă-mă, curăţeşte-mi adâncul fiinţei şi inima!

3 F or thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

Îndurarea Ta este mereu înaintea ochilor mei şi umblu neîncetat în adevărul Tău.

4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

Nu mă aşez laolaltă cu bărbaţii înşelători, şi nu mă întovărăşesc cu cei vicleni.

5 I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

Urăsc adunarea răufăcătorilor şi nu mă aşez laolaltă cu cei răi.

6 I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

Îmi spăl mâinile în nevinovăţie şi aşa înconjor altarul Tău, Doamne,

7 T hat I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.

ca să fac să răsune mulţumirea şi să povestesc toate minunile Tale.

8 J ehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

Doamne, eu iubesc Casa în care locuieşti şi locul unde sălăşluieşte slava Ta!

9 G ather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

Nu-mi lua sufletul împreună cu cei păcătoşi, nici viaţa – împreună cu vărsătorii de sânge,

10 I n whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

pe ale căror mâini este nelegiuire şi a căror dreaptă este plină de mită.

11 B ut as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

Cât despre mine, eu umblu în integritate! Izbăveşte-mă şi îndură-te de mine!

12 M y foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

Piciorul meu stă pe loc drept. Voi binecuvânta pe Domnul în adunări!
